Domino's Pizza New Zealand Reviews 

I only return to this branch because it's on my way back from the kids' afterschool activities, but I'll rather go without pizza from Domino's Pizza Albany than returning.

After placing an online order, my pizza was still in the oven when I arrived 20 minutes later. I finally got it 10 minutes after that. Ok, fair, probably busy. Unfortunately for the lady in front of me, the order progress board showed status 'Ready'. However, after waiting for some time and her having some hard words (she was the 4th unhappy customer in a row) staff told her that it (1 pizza) was still in the oven. Another staff member said the board is not always correct, it can be up to 2 minutes 'out'. One staff member halfway through assisting the woman just walked off and started slicing and boxing pizzas at the back. Another staff member had to call other staff members from the back to come help customers on 3 occasions while I was waiting. After helping they always disappeared to the back again, despite the line of people growing. It seems only a bunch of rookies were on duty, with no senior person to manage and see that things run smoothly.
Totally demotivated when I got home and saw the skimpy toppings on our pizzas - yet again. A cheese & garlic pizza, but you only get a hand full of cheese in the middle with the outer third of pizza base completely dry and brown. This happens EVERY single time... Finally took the time to write a bad review which I should've done ages ago! Sorry Albany, I'll rather pay delivery fee for pizza from your Browns Bay branch - they have lots of cheese and manage their orders well!

Ordered through Uber Eats, got given the wrong sides and a terrible mini meatlovers pizza. They didn't even cut the pizza properly, there was no sauce on one slice, two slices had just a little sauce, and the last was absolutely drowned in it. I say slices, but I mean tears because you had to rip the pieces apart to separate them. The worst thing? They put cranberry sauce instead of BBQ sauce.
My mum ordered 85 dollars worth of pizza day before yesterday, and they had the exact same problem.

If you legitimately like Domino's, you're an idiot and I want you nowhere near me, because I may catch your stupid.
Assuming I don't catch it from the morons who work at Domino's.
NEVER, EVER eating domino's again. Pizza Hut is better.
At least they know what BBQ sauce is.

We changed our regular pizza shop because of no attention to detail we ordered thin base and was just given normal base with no toppings we phoned up to ask what's going on to be hung up on twice. Went to the other pizza shop and got food poisoning last Thursday. 20-7-23.
Hastings dominos both of them are bad.

Has to be one of the worst apps I have ever used. Ordered it at a story, app sent it to the wrong one, and we didn’t even get our food or a refund.

Terrible customer Service from Dominos Mangere Branch Manager Jamie and the crew. Ordered online, order placed, payment gone through then received a call that 203 Kirkbride road premises is blacklisted and they can't deliver...Why this information is not on their website or before taking the payment...blacklist the Mangere Branch Domino's also as I feel judged and unfairly treated by nothing of our fault..... If one person did something doesn't mean you blacklist the whole Business community at 203 Kirkbride Road.

the new orewa branch is worse than the red beach if that is possible. what they advertise and what they deliver is completely different. wish i could upload a picture. how can they get away with this? like paying for a rolls royce and getting an old mini. little meat, nothing green. flat as an old pancake.

Domino's pizza is never cut through to separate the slices and I bought a stuffed crust double bacon cheese and the cheese level was not like the tv advertised almost non existing stuffed cheese..

I’m very disappointed that Domino’s Belfast in Christchurch will not honor a specials pamphlet that was delivered to letterboxes valid for 9-11 June

“ nothing to do with us” was the answer when I enquired “ and we won’t honor the specials ! “

First and last order-1hr late, cold, no cheese

The shape of my pizza is not round, the pastry has ear shape, I thought Manukau Domino has change but it hasn’t.

Dominoes Hawera is always mucking up the orders so this is more of a complaint. Asking for no mushrooms on a pizza and then getting mushrooms is just one of the many things that they do wrong. I haven’t had many good experiences with the dominoes in Hawera as they often muck up orders. Hence why I won’t but from their store anymore. They need to do better with their service

Ordered a pizza from here. They loaded the top with chilli seeds and left it dry. I could see the base through the toppings from a lack of sauce. Definitely not buying from here again.

The pizza size has shrunk, they are smaller than ever and very little topping either, mostly just crust, I wont buy again and I was a regular

Got a big ugly hair in my Pizza. More annoying is the big fat zero response from Domino's when I emailed them about it.

Delivery service for the Johnsonville store has been terrible. Twice the pizza has turned up broken and damaged, would advise to only pickup from store, two seperate drivers both inept at handling pizzas properly and it seems like the store manager doesn't care either

Cameron Road Greerton Tauranga the person that took my order spoke bad English he said it be ready between 10 and 15 minutes when I arrive there they didn't place my order there was no name for my order the staff was arguing with me I didn't make an order I didn't even get an apology I was disgusted and appalled the way they treat their customer I said I'll never come back here again

I had 2 chicken traditional pizzas with less topping, burned, and also my wife choked a bone strangely on the pizza. I had complained 2 times to Domino's customer support and still haven't received a reply in the last 3 weeks.

Just curious to understand this? How does a thin crust pizza cost more than a thicker crust when it's using less dough? Sounds like a BS rip-off strategy to me

Ordered online on 18/06/22 for delivery, it failed but payment still went out, called numerous branches, no help. Finally reached my local branch after 45mins of calling them as that was all i had on my card for dinner, but order definitely didnt go through on their end and they don't have a delivery service either and cant refund my money or give me HO number. Mangere branch however did offer part of my order but pick up only which i couldn't do. All of this could have been avoided if you make the delivery option on your website unavailable and set it up to not take payment if the order has failed. Some haven't received their money back weeks later. I wouldn't recommend dominos at all, they don't know how to help or communicate with their customers. I will update my review when this has been resolved and i get my money back
Update: 24/06 - Received my money back and also received a voucher for 2 pizza's, garlic bread and drink. Resolved after 5 days

Tried to order online. Rang water street branch whangarei and asked for help. Told na...order by phone. No customer service there. Tried online again as I wanted online delivery deals and finally got order done. Order arrived 1 hour after estimated time. Pizzas luke warm, chips cold, 1 side missing but polite delivery guy gave us a bottle of Fanta. Now for the pizzas. Vege one was a joke. Hardly any cheese and a few leaves. Other had slices of meat missing but indentations in cheese showed they were there once !! Really disappointed as we received good service and products in past. Has this branch changed hands.....spoke to a few others and they said it had gone to the pack. Please don't blame covid
