My gf and me opted for Drei.at as a home internet provider and: worst experience ever. They activate at the beginning some extra package that you don’t know you have and in the first bill you have to pay them because they were active. Plus the connection sucks.
Plus the bill is somehow never as expected.
Terrible experience. Do yourself a favour and and go for something different.

Drei is a scam and should be sued and shut down. They charged me around 60–70 € for roaming in Georgia and about 70 € in Greece, even though I had explicitly asked them to block all non‑EU roaming and never gave my consent again. When I tried to cancel my non‑binding contract in February, they ignored my emails, extended the end date to May, and continued billing me even after my number was ported away and their SIM no longer worked. In just two months I paid about 100 € for a service I could not use.
They keep sending payment demands, do not seriously answer complaints, and do not even fix access to the customer zone so you can check your bills. In my view, their business model relies on unfair roaming charges and refusing to respect cancellations. This company should face legal action for its practices, and people should avoid Drei completely.

First i had a contract then i was always bring overcharged .so i decided to cancel it and stated clearly i would pay 10 euros extra because i would need it for one month .then i added another 10 euros .so my accound had 20 euros in the prepaid sim.
Get on a call since i needed it to be turned into mobile date,1.person turned 10 euros into minutes then i said it okay ,just turn the other 10 euors into data.she said okay ,wait a minute.then dropped the call.the second lady i called gave me a big attitude then said its not her problem(i think dhe though i had no understanding of german.
Ive given up.throw away a dim with still 10 euros on it .after this review i dont want to waste another minute on this company.please dont waste your money on them.

Customer service and technical resolve was useless - they just said:"it should be better later". No money back (although this happened on the day of the purchase)

No English customer service, difficult to cancel subscriptions
If you ever need customer service, they immediately hang up on you if you don't speak German. And even if you speak German, difficult to cancel a subscription I no longer want.

Today 30.01.2026 I called the customer service and asked to give me an operator who speaks English and my phone was turned off. I just wanted to ask for information about my internet subscription (router) just that. I am very disappointed with them and I will cancel all my contracts with them and I will tell my friends not to use this mobile network.

I made an order for the Team plan, after I was told that I had to buy another SIM for the plan, I canceled the order both on the app and by email, this happened more than 1 month ago, although I contacted them several times, the money has not been returned even now although they confirmed that they must refund the money, I have been their customer for over 5 years, this is how they treat you, thank you!

Roaming experience
Recently I was in Vienna, and used EU roaming from Hungary to Austria. My phone automatically choosed A1 as provider, and worked well until I reached Vienna, and after that it switched back to 3G from 4G+... So I tried out 3's network and got instant connected to 4G+ and since that moment I always use it abroad. One time had problems, when I was in a triangle of towers and my phone was confused but excluding that never had problems nor the speed nor the coverage..

Just a bunch of thieves they just keep stealing money from the customers and when you go to the office, they’re rude as hell and they don’t even try to find a way To fix the problem for the customer, they give you explanations even they themselves don’t understand Worse network provider when you have a contract with them and your contract is supposed to end at a specific date they do not cancel the contract until you call them and ask them to cancel the contract which in its does not even make sense So then keep charging you for money that you’ve already paid for I don’t recommend a company save your money.

One of the biggest band of internet thieves you can ever come across. I do not live in the middle of a city but according to their availability map I should get 20mbts....NOT EVEN CLOSE. Excuse their customer support team gave me is that there are too many people sharing the signal...WHEN ARE THESE PEOPLE GOING TO SHARE MY 29 Euros per month...Of course it is not all their fault. The European Government that allows a company to charge a fixed price but deliver "UP TO" product is complicit. Imagine if we the customer applied this logic to DREI.AT. This month I will pay UP TO the full price, but I can't guarantee the amount.

Then chat is also broken, because when you changes tabs Home/Chat/Setting the chat stops loading. Then you need to close the app and your current conversation is gone with the support agent.
There are no logs of all previous chat for the agents to go through, so I have repeated it every time.
I'm done with Drei.at, getting a phone number should be easy, not a 4 hour process and hoops to jump through. I'm going to Yessss.
AVOID
Easily the most incompetent company I have ever dealt with in my life. Zero technical skills. Zero communication skills. They even outsource their installation work to a team they can't contact. If it becomes too hard for them, they will just cancel your contract without informing you. Avoid at all costs.

rubbish company and they take advantage to steal the top up money you put in your mobile in just minutes for some absurd rules they could not even explain. Now I'm abroad I topped up my mobile and surprise surprise the money is out of my account but have no credit. Stay away from them!
Misinformation and horrible service
. I ordered tariff + mobile phone online. After an extensive back and forth messaging to prove who I am and where I live, my order was accepted, I was promised quick delivery. After a week of nothing happening, I contacted the customer support via email - no answer. Again after a few days - no answer. I finally got an answer on their Facebook page and I was told it's late because the phone I ordered wasn't delivered to them yet and I just need to be patient. I asked for a different phone - none was available at the moment (even though the webshop had different info). A few days pass and I receive an email that the desired phone will no longer be delivered and my order was cancelled. So the webshop had the wrong info, the customer service could not provide info and then oops - no longer available. Needles to say I am disappointed and angry and would not ever in my life recommend this company
