NO MONEY REFUND GIVEN AND LILY STOPPED EMAILING BACK

TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE WRONG SIZE NO RETURN OF MONEY!

Hi guys. I have ordered a wonderful wedding dress, with big hopes for it. I received it approximately a month over the promised date, which wouldn't be so bad as I understand postal transfer issues etc. Unfortunately the dress does not fit it as it should, even though I purposely ordered it a size bigger in order to ensure that if required it can be fitted in and avoid any chance of returning it. However upon trying on the dress, i could barely get into it and cannot zip it up at all (appropriately 10 cm gap). I assure you that I have not gained weight or provided the measurements wrong, as had them checked number of times by myself and a friend. Furthermore I even lost 2 kg of my initial weight since ordering the dress. Thus, wrote a nice email to Lily gown asking to return due to size issues, and to be honest have had number of emails of nothing but trouble since, being accused of providing the wrong measurements. Now its been 33 emails and Lily keeps copy pasting her last email of how difficult it will be to return the dress, money loss and offering me 10% refund only. THIS IS RIDICIOULOUS for a £200 dress. Please note, all I want is just to return the dress and have no intent of messing around with the supplier as that has never been my intent. I genuinely dont believe i will be able to return the dress or will receive any refund as Lilly has done nothing but been very unhelpful and accusing in her emails to me. I am now stuck with a dress that is too small for me. I normally never write a bad review however I do not think I am treated fair. I would never ever recommend Lilly Gown to anybody planning of buying a dress from them, think twice before ordering!
Poor service, unhelpful staff and unpleasant treatment of customers! Furthermore this has put me off of ever ordering any dress online. Lilly, hope this review really makes you rethink of how you treat your customers and the service you provide. I will get another dress, and even if I lose the money it won't impact my big day too much on the big scale, however as a business owner you must take responsibility of your actions and if this is how you treat your customers normally, you should perhaps reconsider of how you deliver.

I ordered one baithingsuit
(Flounces Planet Galaxy Star Moon Print Plus Size Tankini Set) in purple.

I had a very pleasant exchange as the item came in on time and had good quality, I was worried about the sizing on the website because I'm not a big big girl, but I'm in the awkward stage between normal and heavy set and most places only cater to small or big, not in between. so when I checked the sizing, I was scared to see I was a size L. I tried on the suit and surprise, surprise it fit perfectly. I was astonished, as it fit well and flattered my body, and the boyfriend approves. I DID notice that the manufacturer is not from dress lily but from rose gal. but maybe they are partners? I dunno but I'm overall very pleased. Will buy from again.

Rip off

Bought a bathing suit wrap shipping included for $20.00. Month later got bill from Fedx for $17.00 more. Contacted Dresslily and fedx. Now got collection letter. A USA company had same wrap for $5.00 more. Scammers.

An absolute con

An absolute con. Beware of hidden charges in the small print! Bought a £20 dress and then received an invoice from HM Revenue & Customs 3 weeks later for almost £40 in import fees which i have had to pay. No clear mention of this on company website or when placing order - hidden in the very small print in hopes customers won't notice it. Complaint to Dress Lily and got response that its in their terms and conditions. Total rip off and the dress received was of poor quality. Tried to swap original order for a smaller size but confusing returns wanting me to post item to Spain which would have cost more than the dress did in the first place. BEWARE HIDDEN FEES IN THE SMALL PRINT.

BEWARE!!! i had to leave one star to write this review but they don't deserve it. my first order with them was fine, no duties or taxes so i made another larger order. they have a note about taxes a duties hidden away in info, NOT GOOD ENOUGH. i was charged 1/3 the value of my order just to receive it. they should be honest at checkout and show what the taxes and duties will be for the size of the order and county you are in. this time the clothes were shoddily made from the most awful fabrics. they are huge and shapeless and the sizing system seems to work differently from garment to garment. i have complained but don't want the costs of returning and trying to get my money back. IF YOU STILL WANT TO ORDER PREPARE YOURSELF FR BAD QUALITY AND HIGH CHARGES. i am contacting my bank to refuse payments to them in case of anymore unethical practices

They stole my money. My ordered item was still not shipped after 3 weeks. Their support told me that the item was no longer available. I asked for a refund. Their support then said my item was already packed and shipped??? I again asked for a refund.... I am beginning a claim dispute with Paypal to try and get reimbursed.

Dresslily stole my money. I ordered items from them. They never arrived and they only refunded part of my money. The company is a scam. Their products look nothing like their photos, they fall apart after one wear which is fine since they fit your body terriably and you would never want to wear the outfits in public. All their wigs are worst than cheap Halloween store wigs. DO NOT trust this company. They will steal your money and laugh all the way to the bank. Fake, fraudulent company, don't be fooled

I really love Dresslilly!

This online shop doesn't deserve this hate!
I really love Dresslilly, as it offers a lot of options for the Gothic style lovers, without it being shamelessly overpriced, all in the name of branding.
On all the dresses I ordered, the materials feels nice on the skin and they make a great figure.
They got to me (I'm in Germany), in about 7 to 10 days, which is awesome, given the fact that they come from China.
I'm taking one star away because, on some products, the sizing chart is a bit off, so I guess the first order was a trial and error one, to see what would fit me. They run a bit large! But I wasn't so disappointed as to want to send anything back yet, so I don't know about customer service. I just gave the products that were too large for me to my mom, and she was happy too.

They sent me the wrong item and have yet to issue a refund

They sent me the wrong item. I ordered a plus size Halloween dress and received a very small bikini. After much complaining and them asking for details again and again they finally admitted their fault and that they would be unable to get my dress to me for Halloween. I was offered a refund on the 28th October. They are yet to issue my refund giving excuse after excuse. Looks like I lost my £20 but at least I have a bikini which might just cover one butt cheek.

Lilly Gowns customer service team have to be some of the rudest people I have ever come across, the sizing of the outfit does not match the website, the top had boning in when it wasn't mentioned on the website and they will now not let me return the item (£100 down the drain).

Please do not order from this website! I really regret not looking at these reviews before I ordered.

I wish I'd checked out some of these reviews before ordering. Ordered a dress from them, had the money taken straight away from my bank account, but was given no order or payment confirmation. Tried to check the "my orders" section on their website after logging in, to find I apparently don't have any orders with them, even though they've taken my money.
Messaged them to let them know and to ask for a refund, for them to tell me the dress i'd ordered is apparently out of stock and I can apparently choose another item instead. Chose another item and have heard nothing since. They've taken my money!
I'll be contacting my bank to let them know about this scam site and to get my money back.
