Smooth experience
Smooth pickup from the airport (the shuttle was already there) and quick service from RK at the desk meant it was an easy experience. The car is new and in excellent condition. I’d definitely use them again

Shocking scare tactics used to force…
Shocking scare tactics used to force extra excess insurance
Told cover taken out when booked through booking,com didn’t covered for off street incidents, ie dinks in car parks. Excess would be £1500.
Then after paying an extra £128 during walk around vehicle, told any mark under 5cm doesn’t count or matter.

Double charged me and the branch…
Double charged me and the branch manager said they couldnt help. Cancelled one charge myself and then made a booking later but wouldnt let me pick up the car as I fixed the issue myself. Didnt really hace any choice. To be honest i was getting bored of the long trips to the rental centre and hearing people argue about insurance and damaged cars. My alternate rental was seamless and much more professional.

Super friendly desk staff who were fantastic throughout. Had a little trouble figuring out the car, but they were patient and understanding with me, showing me all the features and answering all my questions. Couldn't recommend them more.

Dreadful customer service
I hired a rental on the 1st of April and returned the car on the 5th in Belfast Airport. Drivalia charged me £1500 on my credit card in case there was damage to the car. The car was returned spotless and I have still as of today 17th got £1500 pending on my credit card. I tried phoning customer service with the number from the website, when you ring it apparently it does not exist. I just phoned the office in Belfast and was told it can take 28 days for the pending money to be removed. I asked him can you tell me if you are charging me and he said he could not hear me and put the phone down. Dreadful service.
