Tried to use this, primarily for its security features, but just so much else is missing. First, I have minor sight problems so the ability to change text size and font is important. But there... See more

I use Duckduckgo with Supermium browser on Windows XP (as recommended) and Adblock for the same browser, on a proper desktop computer. It works perfectly fine for me. I have never had (or want) a mobile telephone and have never used 'social' media or subscribe to anything at all. I find it a little slow with video sometimes but I can live with that (mainly YouYube).
BEWARE of MOSSAD
This is an Israeli platform. If you are willing for MOSSAD to track your every move, go right ahead. We've all seen how Israel blows up Pagers, 2-Way Radios and TV's.

Best app protection and best search engine
Best and fast browser when you know how set it right. Better apps protection on your phone. Scroll down the top of your phone to see app protection notification and then open it and scroll down again to see view app and click on it to activate all the buttons. Best protection for all browsers.
No unnecessary ads. All your search are protected.
I'm using it on my android and surface pro 9 for 3 months now
It work perfectly 🥰
More freedom
Better search results then Google no Reddit Quroa bias . Does not seem to be as obsessed with social engineering as google . Reminds me of how google was before they started their data drain of peoples lives and every other search result did not return stupid opinons on Quora or Reddit .

Just once I’d like to get a direct answer to my inquiry. Not going to happen, is it? Guess it doesn’t matter to you cuz Google’s just as bad
Amazing and secure
I love Duckduckgo. It has blocked over 80,000 tracking attempts from other websites and it's great.
No pop up annoying ads and no issues at all. I've had a complete positive experience with them, so much so, that my family have switched to them from Google also.

The browser has blocked all access to Youtube. They blame support.google.com, but give no resolution. So now I have to go back to Chrome.
Useless
I searched for my Village web site, which has in excess of 500 pages.
Found nothing, although it comes as No1 on the Google search engine
I love duckduck and best browser I’ve ever ued.
I love duckduckgo search engine on my iphone and my windows 10 desktop. Never no pop ups and no advertising. It never redirects me to a site when im browsing.
I don’t do email i go to chrome browser when i do my gmail. I don’t know what everyone complaining about I find duckduckgo a good search engine. I get hijacked and redirects me to other sites on chrome browser, and yes i have the extension on chrome; this doesn’t happen on duckduckgo browser. I do have it as my default browser on DuckDuckGo. Love it. No complaints.
unable to remove duckduckgo from laptop
Immediately after installing duckduckgo there were glitches. The browser could not eben connect to my own website. Error messages for no reason. Slowed down my whole system. I uninstalled it awhile back only to have it all of a sudden update the other day. It is still in the background and can not be found to remove it.
Absolute rubbish
Absolute rubbish! Not fit for purpose. This was okay to begin with, but a little while ago tabs started to crash and now it's a daily occurrence with multiple crashes and the final straw today it completely froze my computer and I had to do a hard boot to resolve it. Pages load at dial up speed, the search results all start with sponsored results which are irrelevant. I refuse to use Google Chrome or Edge, but I will have to find something that actually works. DuckDuck has to go!
Slow and glitchy, doesn't scroll smoothly like other browsers.
I installed it on my laptop and iPhone after seeing the advert on TV. Plus point is that setup was very easy and I liked the way I could transfer everything from my Brave browser within a few minutes. Down side is - it's slow and glitchy, the thing that annoyed me most is that it doesn't seem to scroll normally! I tried using it for a couple of weeks before uninstalling it. I'll stay with Brave.
DuckDuck Go browser not all it is…
DuckDuck Go browser not all it is cracked up to be, after installing on windows 10 it worked fine for a few days then just stopped loading, obviously they haven’t got this browser completed properly, it also refuses to reinstall in short it is not worth the aggravation, I will continue to use FireFox tried and trusted.
Awful
Awful - unbelievably slow, went with it for a week in the hope it would improve, it didn't so deleted

Ya sorry tried this search engine for a month after seeing constant TV ads and thought may be worth a go but alas no it does not appear to be very good at all. After a few days I noticed I was not getting sort of results I would expect as used to with google so used them in tandem and yep alas after few weeks can see now is no where near a efficient on searches as any user need/ would expect so now removing it.

They are the same as google with searches. They automatically suggest liberal leaning organizations. No conservative outlets. I don't want all conservative news outlets, just a balance.
Wouldn't recommend
I used this as my main search engine for a month but had to switch back to my usual one as any pages I used to access regular accounts would not allow me to sign in, told me I didn't have an account when I had been using the account in question for over a year.
The privacy side works well on news sites etc but not for more specific internet use when you use an email to sign in to your own account, it stops access to this.
Perhaps it works better in America where the company is based but it doesn't work well in the UK.
Thought it would be better than Google…
Thought it would be better than Google for a search engine. It’s the same. It may not have spying adds or whatever, but still only brings up Liberal outlets for news stories. Seriously not once I have seen Fox,News Max, OAN. I would think at least a Fox article would pop up. I need to find another neutral search engine.

Duckduck is just another shill for the Democratic party. Sucks and I am deleting.
