1980s Mosport
I have often seen previews of recordings that Duke has for sale and decided to treat myself with the round from the 1985 WEC series, which made a stop at Mosport Park, my home racing circuit.
This was the unfortunate round where Manfred Winkelhock lost his life. The video does a great job capturing the magic of the event. I was 15 at the time and fascinated by the larger prototypes, especially the Porsches, racing up the back straight.
Watching this recording (I purchased a digital file) beings the excitement right back. Thank you for your excellent work.

Review of C.H.Wood motorcycle videos
I bought several 60's motorcycle DVD's and, while it is good to see the era again, I'm reminded how poor the coverage of motorcycling was then. Facile scripts, shots from very few places, very little race information, virtually no overheard pit conversations, they are a brief reminder of the machines and riders. The 1972 Yamaha Season shoes those few races that were easy to get to from Britain and gives the briefest of mention to all the rest.
It's a terrible shame that history hasn't been served well.

To be honest I was disappointed with the way the download of the BSB Annual review went. It never really loaded properly and I am not likely to purchase one again. The process needs to be more seamless.
