Do Not Use Easirent for car rental under any circumstance.

Do not rent from this company. You will be quoted online by Priceline or other booking sites with a very good low daily price on the car. At the counter on pickup, the counter person was very rude, and slammed me into purchasing a daily collision damage waiver which was NOT part of the initial quote that added $24 day to the rental, even though I have full Comprehensive on my policy - this is an illegal and DECEPTIVE practice. At pickup, the woman then went on to say that I cannot drive the car out of state even though I was quoted a vehicle with unlimited mileage. She went on to say that I'd be fined $1200 if I left the state with the car. I was renting in Nevada, and the rental car had Arizona tags!! Go figure?! She also said I could not inspect the vehicle first and made me sign a blank damage waiver but I could 'video' the car with my phone to document it when I went outside and picked up the car. Furthermore, their corporate office was completely inattentive to my complaint and did not refund me the CDW coverage. The car issued was not even from Easirent. It was apparently from some company called Turo.

STAY AWAY FROM EASIRENT or you jeapordize ruining the start of your trip/vacation!!!

Avoid this company

The initial experience was fine. The location is very run down but we were excited to pick up the car and drive down to the FL Keys. On returning the car the lot attendant walked around the car and said everything looks fine. I confirmed with him there was no damage, he confirmed. I should have taken a video of the car but was rushing to catch my flight. About a month later my insurance company called me about an insurance claim for a rental car. I was not sure what they were talking about and shared the story with them. Come to find out my insurance paid the $3.6k claim, which was totally absurd. 2 months later this rental company is now trying to charge me additional fees!! Stay far away from this company they are running scams.

This was the worst rental car…

This was the worst rental car experience that I have ever had! Took 45 minutes to check us in, was sent to the first Nissan Rogue and it was filthy inside and out with literal trash in it! Then they gave us a 2nd car which was also extremely dirty on the outside you could barely see out the windshield! Day 2 the tire pressure light came on- couldn’t reach anyone at the car rental place ended up going to a Firestone to get the tire air. No one checked the car our with me, didn’t receive a rental agreement- I could go on and on. Bottom line-DO NOT RENT FROM THEM! All these bad reviews- yall should and could do better!

Overcharged for insurance had to pay for your company's which is unheard of in the car rental business when you have your own insurance!

Warning Do Not Rent from EASIRENT!! Jax Fl

Warning Do Not Rent from EASIRENT!!!
My booking stated "unlimited miles" upon checking out the agent says "they don't honor that. , there is a mileage restriction for local rentals and an extra charge for out of town mileage , plus a an extra $500 rental deposit " I prepaid for the car rental, so I was unlimited mileage and not expecting any extra cost. Then I was instructed to sign a Waiver for Tires and Windsheild/Glass damage because I refused the Extra Tire and Glass coverage. I was told by the agent " Geico would not cover Tire and Glass damage". Then I was given a vehicle with a big gash in the front tire sidewall. After inspection I refused the vehicle and demanded another vehicle. The second vechicle was filthy with stained seats.
Do not fall for the low rates, they are going to nickel and dime you with threats and add ons. Hopefully it won't be any issues when I return the vehicle Friday.

Rented from Dallas airport

Rented from Dallas airport. Twice now. Only the second time because I forgot their name. Worst car rental service you can imagine. The phone line to check when you will be picked up is a ruse. The Dallas car rentals are not at the airport. So when they are saying to take the airport shuttle to car rental, that is only the first shuttle. Then trying to call the number to check when their shuttle was scheduled, was just BS because it will never tell you. After waiting nearly a hour I was able to get through to a live person that told me it would be there in 10 min. So, 20 min later it finally arrived. check out process took over a hour. Car was brought up to door dirty and with a broken windshield. I think they were just throwing it out there like that would make me feel like they were trying. Rude employees. I was never mad just sat quietly as once I saw where they were located knew it was the same POS company I had dealt with 2 years ago. Nothing you can do but wait, and wait. from the time the first shuttle left the airport to the time I actually had a vehicle it had been two and a half 2 1/2 hours! Make sure to return the car a few hours early also as they will not be on any time schedule as far as getting you back to the airport. I recommend skipping this company, no matter the cost

Bad customer service/vehicle unsanitary.

Dude was rude at the counter. The shuttle to the airport took over an hour. I got a dirty car after waiting an additional 30 minutes in the lobby. They drove out and the car is still dirty. When the air is on it makes the vehicle smell like bacon and farts I won’t rent from this company ever again.

DO NOT RENT A CAR HERE!!!!‼️ Took my card information. Scammers

Customer service was horrible. The gentleman that helped me was high on weed. Didn’t even enter my correct information into the system. The whole office smelled. The car they gave me wasn’t the car I chose or paid for.

Also accuse me of stealing the car when I returned it to the manager in great condition. Three months later, I’m still getting charges on my credit card for random stuff.

I regret picking this Company. Disappointed.

I rented from Cork Airport at the end of August

I rented from Cork Airport at the end of August. Never again!! This turned into a nightmare. Easirent’s “deposit” is nearly €3000 which is almost twice that of the mainstream companies such as Budget Avis etc. This of course caused me a major problem as my daily limit on my credit card was £1700. And of course I couldn’t up the daily limit instantly ( it would have taken 3 working days to apply🤷‍♂️)Therefore I was “forced” to take the “lower deposit option” or lose the money I had paid for the rental. This in essence cost me double the rental fee I would have paid for the same days from Budget! The cars are also very basic and not very comfortable. There is a reason that Easirent are apparently cheaper than the other companies - You really do need to read their small print. Overall I felt I was taken advantage of and will never use this company again. Stick with the well known companies as they are much more transparent.

This is the first time I have ever rented from them and will be the last. The gentleman at the counter was very nice but he did try to give me a much smaller car than what I had paid for. By the time I got my car it had not been cleaned and is very disgusting inside. I will be cleaning it tomorrow because that is uncalled for. I will be calling the company for a reimbursement because it is not my job to clean a car that I am renting. I know now why you only have a 2 star rating.

Ask About The Easy Pass

The easy pass was not explained. I was asked if I wanted but was not told I would get charged $18.99 a day for it. When I returned the car I asked if I would only be charged if I used it and was told yes, that was not the case, I was still charged $18.99 a day for it and have no idea if I even used it.

spend a little extra for ANY other company.

Very disappointing experience overall. The airport pick-up involved two separate shuttles, with expensive underage and out-of-state fees on top.

At pick-up, the car was dirty, and the front desk staff member was dismissive and on a personal call throughout. We were also told to check the car ourselves for any existing damage, which was not reassuring.

During the rental, we had a flat tyre and discovered there was no jack in the car. We were repeatedly bounced between the rental company, insurance and roadside assistance, with nobody willing to provide clear help. A kind stranger eventually helped us change to the spare. The tyre shop then found the tyre had less than 2/32" tread, below the legal minimum, which we had no idea about when collecting the car.

We eventually had to replace the tyre ourselves and were reimbursed, but it took nearly three weeks. Our deposit also wasn't returned until we chased them about it. Overall, far more hassle and inconvenience than it should have been. I wish I'd just paid extra for a different company.

Absolutely terrible experience with…

I had a very disappointing experience with Easirent at Jacksonville Airport and would not rent from them again.
I originally reserved and paid for my rental online through Priceline. When I arrived to pick up the car, I was told about additional charges, including $75 for insurance and $142.50 for a “Rental Car Liability” charge. I live here in Jacksonville, so I was very confused about why I was being charged this additional fee. Had I known about these additional charges beforehand, I would have chosen a different rental company.
There was also a $250 deposit hold placed on my card, which was another expense I was not expecting.
About an hour after picking up the vehicle, the low-tire-pressure warning light came on. I called Easirent simply as a courtesy to let them know. Instead of helping resolve the issue, the representative immediately suggested that I may have run over a nail and that it would be my responsibility to fix it. This was concerning because the warning appeared shortly after I received the vehicle.
I also barely put any miles on the vehicle during my rental. The rental agreement shows unlimited mileage, and I drove the car very little, yet I still had to deal with a tire-pressure warning shortly after picking it up.
When I returned the car on the due date, I returned it early and in the same condition in which it was given to me. The employee immediately asked whether I had fixed the tire. I explained that there was nothing to fix as far as I knew. He then went outside, inspected and started the vehicle, and afterward asked me to sign an additional form stating that the car had to sit for 24 hours to determine whether there was a problem before my $250 deposit could be released.
Overall, I felt like I was hit with unexpected fees, given a vehicle with a tire-pressure warning shortly after pickup, and then made to wait for my deposit after returning the vehicle. The entire experience felt unnecessarily difficult and frustrating.
I strongly recommend that customers carefully review every charge and policybefore completing their rental, especially when booking through a third-party sitelike Priceline. I drove very few miles, returned the car early and in the same condition I received it, and still had todeal with all of this. I expected a much more straightforward rental experience.
