EASEUS Video Downloader - Full Product (Lifetime)

EASEUS Video Downloader
Product stopped working and tried to contact support but this is impossible as the internal menu of the program will not allow selection of contacting the correct support channel to register a support ticket. It only allows feedback option.
I have uninstalled and reinstalled the program, logged out of all accounts and logged back in but the problem remains. Using the internal program to log in to download video options does nothing at all to correct any issues and only takes you to a logged in account where the video is being sourced which proves you are logged in yet the program continues to ask you to login regardless.
Until 3 weeks ago I had no issues but then all of a sudden everything stopped and there is nothing I can do to rectify it and there is no Costomer Support what so ever.
Do not spend your money on buying the full product or indeed any product from this company because it will come wth risks and could likely end up with you losing your money.

A bad brand alert: EaseUs

A bad brand alert! Whole EaseUS product lines are based on false promise and low quality products. First of all, when it say "complete free", it is not free at all, it is just a trial version, not functioning for the major portion. It is just a trick for you to download. Second when they say "lifetime version" is a big lie, not lifetime version at all. It does not allow to upgrade to a higher version, basically, once a while, you have no choice to pay them again. Further more, its product quality is so bad. I purchase their EaseUs Partion and EaseUs Video Downloader, they kept crash my computer. The EaseUS CleanGeneus could not scan at al. Man, all junks!

I have a 14T WD Black Book

I have a 14T WD Black Book. I tried to use their merge tool on the participant master pro suite. I knew it would take me a long time. so from Thursday - Monday I was patient. I contacted support for an approximation of how long it might take me. the csr disconnected from the easeus system chat to use the teamviewer chat (which is not recorded on their system), then encouraged me to disconnect the drive from the power to kill to process. this corrupted the drive. they then tried to push me into a $999 "professional recovery" to repair the drive using winhex and teamviewer (which both are free software not a part of the easeus tools).

This is appalling software

This is appalling software. I spent TWO days recovering my files (with an option to repair) after being conned into paying for the full version. Every single file is unworkable and has numerous duplicates. I have to pay for yet another piece of software (for £50) to fix these corrupt files, apparently. Please choose something else!

THE SOFTWARE DOESN'T WORK

THE SOFTWARE DOESN'T WORK. THEY WON'T REFUND YOUR MONEY!! maybe it works sometimes, but not in the 2 devices I have here. This is a total copy of other software. You probably only need it once, unless you are a cell phone thief you have to get a subscription, so maybe you forget about it and pay another month. They completely ignore the law for returns and will just wear you down with emails repeating the same thing.

It baits you to download the software without explaining what services are available nor giving a pricing plan on site, until you waste time and energy downloading and installing the trial version, then boom, PAYWALL.

Data Recovery Software didn't work, was told to pay more

I downloaded their trial Data Recovery Software and ran it on an external drive that went bad.
The software found the files and folders, but the Recover button was disabled and the software said I needed to pay for a license to recover the files. I would have though the trial version would let users recover a few files to try it out, but I guess not.
So I paid for a Professional license good for 30 days.
I was then able to click the Recover button and the software ran, then I saw all the files and folder! BUT every single file had a file size of 0k, which means nothing was actually recovered.
I contacted them and said I wanted my money back since the software didn't work. I also included a screen shot showing all the files with a size of 0k. They said I had to schedule a remote session with one of their techs, almost as "proof" that the software didn't work. I then scheduled a session.
That tech clicked the Recover button, found that it didn't work, then he installed a "hex tool" that scanned the drive, but that didn't work either.
Then he suggested I buy their manual recovery service for $199. This almost sounds like a bait and switch: buy their software, it doesn't work, now pay more money.
I asked if there was any kind of guarantee for this service since I don't want to pay more money for them to tell me they still can't recover any data. They said they could offer a half refund if they couldn't recover any files.
I decided to try another service and I decided it wasn't worth the hassle of arguing for a refund for the original software.

I understand not all data recovery software can recover files, but the trial version should allow the user to recover a few files before paying, just to see if it works. Then if the software doesn't work, the company should offer a refund, not upsell people on a higher priced service. If they want me to pay $199 for their manual recovery service, then they should give me a credit for the money I already spent.

24/7 chat support is very useful

It took a while but there is now a website you can log-in to so you can download updates. I needed to get my account activated and so I spoke to Felix on the 24/7 chat service. He fixed the problem at 1:35am and I am now able to do what I need and head off to get some sleep!

I bought the EaseUS Todo Backup Home…

I bought the EaseUS Todo Backup Home 13.5 . I wanted the product to take backup from my Windows during night time. That did not work consistently, got product errors, and spent several hours and days with their support team, good interaction indeed, but at the end product still not working as desired. Then they suggested me to test new version of the SW, to see if that worked and in that case have me buy the lifetime upgrade for another 30 euro on top. I refused that option, having to pay for an upgrade for a product that did not work 100% in the first place looks like ill-defined client support. So I will now rely on other backup tools.

Bait and Switch - Fake guarantee

I purchased this software and it did not recover my data on TWO different drives. I contacted support and they remotely viewed my screen and then offered to repair the drive (remotely for 299USD. I have tried to use their 30 day money back guarantee and that is a lie and they will give you a email runaround. Definitely use another service. After research, I found another much less costly tool AOMEI.

Very trustworthy...Very Professional

I bought Partition Master back in 2018. Over the years I have had to contact customer support for advice and help with reinstalling the program after wiping my hard drive. Customer service has always been courteous and helpful through live chat and email correspondences. Today, they were just as helpful and gave me what I needed to reinstall the program after performing a clean install of Windows 11. Very trustworthy...Very Professional!

I purchased their PC Trans Product to transfer my data from my win 10 machine to my new win 11 machine. For some reason the same registration code didn't work on the win 11 machine.

It is now 48 hours later still waiting for a reply. I told them to fix it or refund my money. I have heard nothing.

gopro sd card problem fixed

Got a problem with my GoPro hero 9 SD card. A error message would only allow my card to work if erased. Got a really hard time trying to recover the files and Easeus support was really helpful with that! Fast and efficient service! Saved the day and help me with a very stressful situation! Thanks Mark, for all the support!

Don't buy or use Easeus Pctrans…

Don't buy or use Easeus Pctrans software. It's rubbish and won't work. I recently bought it to transfer from my old laptop to new laptop (both are the same brand and operating system). I wasted a week trying to get the program to work. I've done the new laptop install many times over the years and find it boring and tedious. I hoped this program would help. It didn't. There are many pro reviews online and I can't understand how they recommend the software. Maybe they have few programs and not much data. Avoid, avoid avoid. Easus also ignored my requests for help. I have other easus products and they work fine, Such as their back up program. That one I can recommend.
