When I was looking for a mind mapping app, I tested several. However, in terms of practicality, beauty and functionality for putting my mind maps on the screen, none of them could beat EdrawMind. I highly recommend it!

Charged for 6months instead of 7-day trial
APALLED at being charged an extremely large sum when it was advertised as a 7-day trial? that is predatory and extremely misleading. This is no way to do business. I am extremely upset at the subscription, and absolutely shocked that I was charged for a 6-month period when I very clearly only wanted to get the trial. No other businesses engage in shameful behaviour like this. Shame on you.

I can't believe it, I signed up for the 7 day trial and I was fully charged, my money is gone. When you go to paypal it just shows you a subscription announcement but not that you are being charged, even the amount is not displayed, I just open a dispute in Papal.
You know what's funnier, that the application did not register my money, no subscription active. THIEFS!!!

Scam and Outrageous Theft! "7-Days-Free-Trial"
If you activate the 7-day "FREE" trial, be prepared for them to automatically charge your card over €100 for the full software without any prior warning or additional verification! The money disappears instantly, and there’s nothing you can do about it.
In my case, exactly 10 minutes passed from the moment I signed up before I noticed this scam. I immediately canceled my subscription and contacted their support. Despite sending multiple emails with clear timestamps proving my case, they were completely incompetent and unwilling to refund my money.
I will be reporting this to Consumer Protection Services because this is nothing but fraud.
If I could give zero stars, I absolutely would. Consider this a warning to everyone—stay away from this service!

Misleading "Free Trial" – Immediate $106 Charge
Thought I was signing up for a 7-day free trial, but instead, I was billed the full $106 subscription price on day one—no warning, no confirmation, just an immediate charge. The entire process is misleading and designed to trick users into unwanted subscriptions.
Terrible customer service—emailed them immediately, and they flat-out refused to issue a refund. Apparently, only technical issues qualify, which is ridiculous.
Confusing and deceptive cancellation process—"unsubscribe anytime" is hidden and unclear.
Lack of transparency—no clear disclosure that selecting the free trial meant I’d be charged for a full year.
This is outright deceptive. I’ll be reporting EdrawMax to consumer protection agencies and warning others to avoid this. If you've also been charged unfairly, dispute it with your bank or credit card company immediately—they are aware of such practices.
Take this as a warning: DO NOT use this service. If I could leave zero stars, I would.

Product seems acceptable…"free trial" is not
The product seems acceptable functionally, in my brief experience. But their free trial is no such thing. Even the one simple trial drawing cannot be printed or saved without first giving them a large sum of money.
