I've had a great experience dealing Eight8

I've had a great experience dealing with Eight8 as a landlord. Luke at Eight8 has always been very helpful, easy to get hold of, and will always follow up on any actions quickly. I have no hesitation in recommending Eight8 to others.

Avoid if You Expect Fair Treatment and Basic Maintenance

Poor experience overall — I would not recommend renting from this agency.

First, the apartment had several ongoing maintenance issues during my tenancy, including cockroach sightings, moth infestations, and a repeated blockage in the hot water tank that was never properly resolved. These problems were reported but often met with slow or inadequate responses.

To make matters worse, after I moved out, I was charged £190 for cleaning, despite having arranged and paid for a professional deep clean, with receipts and post-cleaning photos provided. No issues were raised when I returned the keys, and I've since received no inspection report, photos, or evidence to justify the deduction — and my emails have gone unanswered for over a week.

It was only because I followed up that the issue came to light — otherwise, the money would never have been returned. It has been a month now and they blame me for delaying the refund process? !That’s not just poor practice — it borders on dishonesty.

I’m now forced to escalate the case through the tenancy deposit protection scheme.

If you're considering renting through this agency, document everything and be prepared for poor maintenance support and a difficult deposit return process.
