Confusing and dismissive

They send you an application form where you can "make an offer" for the property. Since the apartment is the size of someone's hallway, I requested just £25 off p/m. They came back saying the landlord declined - wants the full amount and someone to move in now. OK fair. But seeing that the property is now advertised for over 1 month, and that others in the same building which are furnished, and some bigger with furnishings, are similar in price as this unfurnished one, I decided to call again. Got told the agent isn't available and will contact me. Since I wasn't contacted, I called again. Some rude lady dismissed me with her rude tone saying "they won't drop the price because that is market value." Why provide an application form that says "offer" for the property? And she says it's market value? They need to check the rental sites. There are furnished apartments, in the same building and bigger than that hallway sized property that were priced at a similar price. Don't know why they need to be rude and dismissive.

In the 2 years being with Reside

In the 2 years being with Reside. I have found them to be somewhat poor in maintenance and repairs. With external doors broken taking over 8 months to being repaired, To no heating over November going into december. Aspects like this impacts on mental health and wellbieng to which i believe is neglectful. The most recent engagements consists of no caring interest and a lack of willingness to understand and to get me off the phone instead. When paying 2k plus a month for rent and not having the basics regarding landlord obligations. Its unfortunate.

Stay away from Reside

Stay away from Reside. They are liars with no morals..SARAH TAYLOR, one of the property management team spent almost two months lying to us after we'd been served a section 21. SARAH TAYLORS' lies and guilt tripping resulted in my GP putting me on anxiety meds. We also had to involve Manchester Council. SARAH TAYLOR also lied to them!! She pretended she had her properties mixed up. This was not only an obvious lie, it was insuting our intelligence. The manger SIMOME called me once SARAH TAYLORS ' lies had been exposed. I expected an apology. I did not get one. Instead, she attempted to stick up for SARAH TAYLOR. It became apparent that the courtesy call was actually a damage limitation exercise on SIMOME'S part. This estate agency are absolutely disgraceful. They are liars. They are incompetent. They lack any morals. This company should be avoided. (The date of all this was Nov 2022 but the earliest It will allow me to put is 2023).
