I always have a great experience.

I've bought multiple times from the team at Expert Infotech on Sunnybrae Road, and today's experience was no exception.
I was provided with exactly what I was looking for and at an exceptionally good price.

Customer service was excellent as usual.
Smiles and very polite team.
Thank you.

Faulty Refurbished iPhone 13 - Pristine Condition Failed In 48 hours

I purchased a iPhone 13 in Pristine Condition online on Feb 7th for my son. It arrived Wednesday 11th Feb. It started to glitch on Thursday 12th Feb and by Friday 13th had lines through the right hand side and small crack right hand corner underneath the tempered glass. I had purchased a cover and screen protector from Expert Infotech along with the phone. I emailed them Friday evening 13th Feb explained that we had been sold a faulty refurbished iPhone and I wanted a full refund under the CGA act due to major failure- lost all trust in this company as a reputable trader. As we live in Whangarei phone was taken to them on Wednesday 18th and they said user damage no refund. I explained no drop or physical impact had happened to the phone and from my research consistent with a faulty repair improper replacement of screen or poor quality of materials used in refurbishment. Expert Infotech even said the crack was behind the base glass screen even indicating further the fault was an internal repair issue. I am now requesting a Charge Back via GEM Visa. I will also go to Disputes Tribunal if I have to - PLEASE DO NOT TRUST this Company with your hard earned money. They have no scruples or ethics never mind customer service.

Horrible experience, save your time and money and don't buy here

Brought a "Refurbished (Pristine)" phone from this shop, but when it arrived it didn't work properly so I sent it back for a refund. They refused to give me the full refund as they wanted to repair and return. Customer service was some of the worst I have ever dealt with and in the end I accepted a partial refund as they started to threaten no refund at all.

Before You Buy, Consider Customer Reviews

I bought an iPhone off their website. I was expecting it to arrive within the shipping time stated, but it turns out buying from the website means they might not even have it in stock yet and they’re waiting for when that phone comes into them from god knows where! Then they’ll send it to you. Could be WEEKS away. I rang to enquire where my phone that I paid for was? And they fob me off with excuses and statements such as “It’s been sent to you” Well can I have the tracking number for the package? “We will find it and call you back today.” And never ring you back. Each time you call them to follow up, you have to repeat your whole story again and again and again otherwise they don’t know or remember who you are. They put you off and never admit they never had the phone in stock in the first instance.

When it eventually arrived, it was not in the “pristine” condition as they stated. I sent it back and asked for a refund…. and that is yet another long battle with them. Back and forth on the telephone.
They stressed me out SO VERY much I lost sleep over this damn phone and the money I’d spent(maybe wasted). Eventually, I received my money back and I have an huge amount of relief lifted off me, and I am done with them.

I’m not saying don’t buy from them. I’m saying buy at your own risk. Buy instore where you can see the phone you are buying. And if you are going to dispute your purchase be ready for a fight.

I purchased an iPhone 14 Pro Max from…

I purchased an iPhone 14 Pro Max from this company through Reeblo. I chose the premium phone which was meant to be as stated, in premium condition. When I first turned it on there was just a blank blue/grey screen. Eventually the apps appeared but the phone was unresponsive and still had blue/grey colour. There was also flickering on the edge of the screen indicating that the screen had been replaced with a screen that was not a genuine iPhone screen. If this is what they call their premium phone, I would hate to see what their standard phones are like. I can see why they have such bad reviews. Avoid at all cost!

SCAM!

SCAM!! DO NOT BUY. I recently purchased an iPhone from here and I was told to expect to be able to pick it up 9/23/2025 on the date of 9/22/2025 because of a "SHIPMENT" and it was coming at "4PM" and I SHOULD CALL THEM on the MORNING of 9/23/2025. I called them and they stated a shipping delay means it was arriving late in the day of 9/23/2025 and it would NOT be ready on the day but I was ALSO told to wait till 12pm because the lady who stated my phone would be ready on the morning of 9/23/2025. I called them up at 12pm and a man picked up who stated the shipment had been FURTHER delayed between the dates of 9/26/2025 to 9/29/2025. They are NOT worth your time, and just in general a shitshow.

I love my new phone but...

I love my new phone but...
Pretty much the whole customer experience was terrible. Should have read the reviews here. Their website implied there was stock on hand and would be dispatched no later than a week. When I heard nothing, I was told the phone was on pre-order and I'd have it next week. Still nothing after a week and was promised it in my hand by Tuesday next week. Another week went by and more apologies - shipment was delayed. I finally received my phone after 4 weeks.
The phone was a good price and I love it but would never buy from these guys again. Honesty up front would have made a big difference here.

NOT 100% BATTERY HEALTH

NOT 100% BATTERY HEALTH
I ordered and paid for a refurbished iphone 12 pro in pristine condition with 100% battery health. It looked fine but the battery drained really quickly and it was a non Apple screen with reduced sensitivity and brightness/clarity. I contacted them by email and requested a refund. They will only offer a repair or replace. After reading other reviews on Trust Pilot I did not want to risk another phone from them. After numerous emails back and forth they said they needed to see the phone in order to proceed. They sent me a prepaid label for a non-signature delivery which was not fulfilling their legal obligation to pay for a signed delivery for return items of that value. I paid for signed delivery. I have given them till Monday (2 days) at their request and then I will be filing a complaint with The Disputes Tribunal. I will never deal with them again once this is resolved to my satisfaction. Another phone sales and repair company has told me that the battery health display can be manipulated to read 100% when it is actually a lot lower.

False stock levels - don't waste your time

Viewed a particular mobile phone on their website for about a month, watching the price and stock level, which consistently said "medium quantity". I decided to buy one and bank transferred the payment through on a Sunday afternoon. I received a receipt of payment email on the Monday and the information that it would be delivered by courier (1-5 days, usually overnight). I then went ahead and purchased accessories (case, screen protector, chargers etc) from another website for this new phone. On the following Friday morning I sent an email asking about my phone order. The response came back with an apology that there was in fact no stock available and they couldn't get any in. There was a confusing offer around other models with "respective price difference", however only one of the suggested three models were available on their website for me to compare pricing with - not that I knew if I was going to have to pay more or not. I was also offered a refund. I checked their website again and it still stated "medium quantity" stock level.

I emailed back and asked for the full refund. No response to this email but a phonecall 5 hours later and she told me I would get a full refund within an hour. No refund came through. Another hour later I had an email asking for my bank details (you'd think they'd ask for them in the first phonecall if they needed them). I responded immediately with my bank account number for the refund. 7 hours later (about midnight) I received another email from them asking for my bank account number. I sent it again. By Saturday afternoon I had the refund in my bank account, thankfully. I checked the stock levels again, out of curiosity... Now it says the phone is in "low" stock level.

Waste of time, money (spent on accessories for a phone that was not actually available), and I will be discouraging everyone I know from dealing with this business, despite their tempting prices.

Sale Tactics / Stock not there.

I didn't even end up buying a phone because I drove over 45mins to the North Shore to be told they have no iPhone 12s 64gb in stock when trade me shows they had plenty. Then I was offered an iPhone 11 which I wasn't looking for. Then went to my car thought about it looked on trademe went back in asked if they had iPhone 12 128gb green which was on trademe to Then be brought out a different iPhone 12 128gb and a iPhone 12 256mb that weren't green and offered to me at a higher price. After looking at another option and given the price I thought I might buy a 13 mini for that price. And I asked to see the one that was on trade me and this time I said if I'm shown something else I would give up. Sure enough offered a iPhone 12 in horrible condition. So I thanked them and left. Even if I rang ahead and or waited for shipping it seemed impossible to actually get what I wanted. But fate had a way of obviously heading me in a better direction and I spent a little more at GoodTech instead.

do not buy from here!!!!!!

i bought a PRISTINE condition iphone 11. Worked well until the screen malfunctioned. Took it back to the shop, and the guy looked THROUGH THE SPEAKERS and said the battery was causing the problem. Got the phone back, same problem. It turns out the screen needed to be replaced, the people at the desk did not want to pay for a new screen so they came up with a stupid excuse. Absolutely horrible DO NOT BUY FROM HERE!!!!!

Horrific warranty validation and customer service

Unfortunately, this shop's customer service (and 2nd hand products) are horrific!!!!.
They sold a bodged together previously water-damaged iPhone full of non-genuine parts. (Noted as Pristine on the website)
Within a week it was faulty and wouldn't boot. (annoying once you copy over a heap of stuff)
The device was taken back in person at the end of November and I have still not received it back.
I have made numerous calls to find out the status of the phone. Always told I would receive a call back and to date (nearly 2 months on) I still have no phone and not a single call back.
Do NOT believe the peace and mind of a 12-month warranty!!.
Even worse this was supposed to be a significant birthday present for my mother who otherwise could not afford one and months on still doesn't have it.
I am Incredibly disappointed. and this is STILL not resolved.
Attached are some images of the water damage from an Expert infotech "Pristine" phone.

Avoid

Avoid! My daughter bought a refurbished iPhone 12 128 GB that was advertised as refurbished and in 'like new' condition. When it arrived, it had a small dead spot on the very edge of the screen. She didn't think it was worth returning for repair for this. However, 15 months on (3 months outside the warranty) the phone has developed major connectivity issues. A repairer has diagnosed a logic board fault, but Expert Infotech are refusing to accept that a $770 'like new' phone should last longer than 15 months. We'll see what the Disputes Tribunal has to say.

Good service and GENUINE products

Good service and GENUINE products. Ordered my Pixel Phone + extras at a GOOD price. I absolutely had no problems with the goods (Genuine), payments options (plenty including Gem), shipping instructions (once shipped) and timeliness of communication (got the info I needed when I needed).

I was a bit nervous and sceptical at first after reading reviews on here, but after a phone call and followup email, everything was sweet!

Thanks Expert Infotech, now I have the phone I always wanted!

If I could rate them a 0 I would

If I could rate them a 0 I would!
Brought a phone off them via trademe - says pickup available , 1- 7 delivery. We’ll pickup is not available phones are never in stock ! 1-7 days is a joke. Communication is sketchy, they offer an apology say it will be sent Friday and will send tracking and updates (NEVER Happens) btw I still have no PHONE - they are quick to get the money slow to deliver ! It’s been 9 bloody days😂 I have waited so now if it’s not here by tmrw they will be refunding me , I’m not the type of person to be mucked around with, I’ll take them to court ! Don’t deal with this company it’s dodgy, I think trademe should look into them as well and the reviews on reddit are SHOCKING!
