Don’t respond when things go wrong

Don’t respond when things go wrong, I am not happy with the bed and need to talk to them about returning it but as you know, there is no way to contact them other than email and they have not responded. I thought this was a reputable company but now I have changed my mind.

100% satisfied

Despite all the negative reviews, I have to be positive. True, there did not appear to be any phone number to contact them on, however they did answer the email sent to the sales dept and all queries were dealt with. As for the product, exactly what I was expecting and the delivery company assembled the bed, checked it and took away all the packaging. Two hard working polite men from BJS . I have to highly recommend both Electric Beds Online and BJS delivery company.

Terrible Customer service

Well I eventually got my order after several weeks and 2 emails chasing the order.
I ordered a new motor for my bed on 16th May, There was no communication other than a "No Reply" email acknowledgement of the order.
There is no contact telephone number or email the only way to contact is by a form on their website.
I chased the order via the form on 28th May as I had not heard anything.
A short curt response the following day said it will be dispatched on Monday for delivery 4th June.
Their communication is teriible, no explanation or appology for the delay.
I responde directly to that email to chase the order on the 7th June as it had not arrived. No communication from the company between those emails.
I had an email the same day giving me a UPS tracking number, nothing else, no explanation but there was an appology for the inconveience this time.
The motor arrived on the 11th June, almost 5 weeks after the order.
It was loosly packaged in scrap cardboard made up with tape, not very protective, there was a battery floating around loose with the cables and controls.
I thought this was a new item I was surprised it was packed in this way not in manufacturers packaging.
I will not use this company again.

If there is a rating lower than 1 star…

If there is a rating lower than 1 star I would give that! We bought a bed for my sister in law but before it was delivered we had to cancel as my sister in law got codid and ended up in hospital for 2 week so there was no one at her place. We have been trying for the lat 2 weeks to get hold of someone to rearrange delivery and have got nowhere! The bed was supposed to be redelivered but it wasn't! How do we get in touch with these people to arrange delivery on a bed that we already paid for in full!!?

Stay away from this company

After delivery being delayed 3 times, the bed was finally delivered 2 weeks ago. They couldn't get the base up the stairs to the bedroom so it was left on the ground floor. I tried on numerous occasions to contact the company to ask for assistance to get the base upstairs and received no response. I finally made my own arrangement and got the bed upstairs. I have been sleeping in the bed for 2 nights and already the one of the metal arms that raise the bed has snapped. Once this company have your money they are not interested in you. No customer service at all. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM!

Good experience

Well I ordered the bed, and afterwards read the reviews and started panic. But I have to say that I got notification of my order saying the bed would take 3 to 4 weeks to arrive and I would be notified when the delivery would take place. This is exactly what happened. I got an email and text message giving date and time of delivery within the 3 to 4 weeks. Bed was delivered on time. Put together by delivery driver in room of choice and all packaging taken away. So as this company has had such bad reviews I thought I'd post a good experience. I have not given 5 stars as I have only just received the bed and time will tell about how long it lasts for. Previous one from a different supplier lasted approx 5 years.

Hi i thought i had better update…

Hi i thought i had better update readers on here as to how i got on with the electric beds online lot, well I received a Email from the electric Beds online lot shortly after i set a Complaints procedure in motion with Pay pal but nothing at all ever since but then what i did was escalated it as a full complaint with pay pal and i now have been informed that i have received my money back from the electric bed online people via pay pal, thanks to them I have settled the matter, DO not do any trade with them is my advice.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY

CONTACTED THIS COMPANY FIRST MISTAKE told delivery btween 3 to 4 weeks lies so ordered and paid through paypal every thing went through ok after 2 weeks mailed them no reply and on it went e mailing, no phone number one email i even asked if this was scam i had 1 reply a delivery date total time over 8 weeks still i mailed them got reply about time xcale was told driver shortage and fuel situation to blame for delay utter rubbish to my suprise bed delivered on time 2 guys delivered it i had paid 60 pound to have it put together they had no tools firm didnt supply them with any tools so the castors had to be kicked in and screws finger tight they told me that they fitted gas fires and cookers of they went there bit done i went to bed first night bottom end of didnt work so mailed them first thing i thought maybe a lead lose to my suprise i got an answer told me to look underneath see if any cable ties on moter as i am 66 disabled and blind told them not possible they said they would speak to there supplier that was last i heard from them despite me keeping sending mails to them when family came round to check bed found all the casing was smashed and had caused damage .As i paid by paypal grandaughter spoke to them they opened dispute 10 days later got full refund STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY THEY DONT CARE i had to pay to have bed disposed off

Appalling service

Appalling service, product and customer service. The bed eventually arrived after six weeks, damaged and filthy. It was delivered to a 97 year old in a care home, unannounced, not on the agreed delivery date. The elderly woman was coerced to sign for it, and the van drivers refused to unpack and assemble the bed, despite having been paid £60 to do so. The company ignored my numerous e mail messages for weeks. They eventually got in touch and offered me a 10% refund. Terrible company.

This company will not sell you a bed if they cannot use your personal data, I sent a email to them regarding this matter no reply,I did intentend to purchase a bed, I obviously did not, I just wish I had read Trustpilot first
before actually going on there web site.

Do not trust this company.

Bed arrived and unpacked by delivery men - the frame was completely broken in two and made of cheap chip board - totally unsuitable.
No contact details on website - for customer services etc etc - so am entirely dependent on PayPal to reimburse me.

Also wish I could give no stars

Also wish I could give no stars. Also wish I had checked trust pilot before ordering. Ordered a bed for a disabled aunt moving in to sheltered housing. It arrived and the electrics don’t work. Very frustrating trying to get any response from them. They have caused distress to an already stressful situation. Phone number is fake, no replies from emails. Have also contacted trading standards. They are breaking the law but seem to be getting away with it. Truly disgusted.

I wish I'd read the reviews of this…

I wish I'd read the reviews of this company on here before purchasing. Their own site is full of glowing testimonials, don't be like me and believe them. When I ordered my bed I decided I didn't need to pay £60 for assembly, my son would do that. That was my first mistake, assembly to this company is delivering it to a room of your choice, removing the packaging and putting castors on, don't pay and it gets dumped in the nearest room. Sadly I only found this out when the mattress and headboard turned up, doorstep delivery only. There was no bed and the guys had well gone before I could get the packaging off my parcel. I immediately tried to contact the company, no working number, so I had to try and track down their email, which was not easy to find. I recieved a quick response, probably the only positive thing about the whole transaction, and was told that they had investigated and the bed was with the carrier, in other words a carrier issue, and that they would email me a new delivery date. One week later, no date so I contacted them again and got no response. Fortunately, I paid via Paypal, so I opened a dsipute, 30 mins later I got a response telling me that the carrier couldn't find the bed so they would send me a new one out. Finally, 2 weeks later, I received the bed, again the carrier was swiftly gone by the time I had unwrapped it, the bed was broken, one of the ties that held the bed together had been snapped in 2, but even worse was the fact that a very poor attempt had been made to repair it. I couldn't bear the thought of having to deal with this shower again and I knew that the T's and C's say that the bed should be examined before you sign for it, like you get a chance, so my husband has repaired it, making a much better and stronger job. If I could give them no stars I would.

This company does NOT rate even one…

This company does NOT rate even one star. The bed was delivered on 12/06/21 but not unpacked or assembled - the delivery team (Platinum Enterprise UK Ltd) said they were only delivery men. When I took off the packaging, I discovered considerable damage to the base and the frame. I contacted the company but they only offered to refund the £60 for assembly and an extra £40 even though the bed cost £709 including assembly. As I got no satisfaction from the company, I tried PayPal, but they said I had to return the bed to Yorkshire in order to get a refund - this would have cost several hundred pounds as I live in Northern Ireland, and the shipping costs would not be refunded. So I am left with no bed and no money - surely they don’t deserve to get away with this?

I bought a 6ft bed from the company but…

I bought a 6ft bed from the company but had an issue of the deliverers not being able to get the beds into the room. I contacted The Electric Bed Company about the issue. To cover my own back I contacted PayPal and they wrote to EBOC on my behalf. I sent a cancellation letter as per my 14 day cooling off period explaining why I hadn't signed for the bed. I received full payment back today 9 days after delivery. I'm really pleased with the excellent communication with the company

DO NOT PURCHASE!!!
This company is advertising products which you feel are a good buy - DO NOT FALL FOR IT !! No address or telephone for customer care they take your cash quick enough however !!!
My elderly mum was left without the electric bed being assembled ( just dumped )I had to travel 20 miles to help her she was very disappointed and distressed- I had no point of contact no customer care and no instructions! Read the reviews this is happening to others - furthermore the mattress slopes and the bed looks cheap - I did email receiving an apology blaming the courier who actually told my mum we were being misled and they don’t assemble which cost £60 ! I could go on but I’ve taken instructions from Citizens advice ref consumer rights but it seems so many others have too
Absolutely disgusting that they are doing this to disabled elderly & vulnerable people who buy in good faith

Order, paid but not received For medical reasons l bought a bed from…

For medical reasons l bought a bed from this company. Informed via email my bed would be delivered in 3 weeks, not what l would call speedy from a company that boasts huge stocks.
On day of delivery couriers phoned to say they had a bed base but no mattress and did l want to take delivery, l declined.
Since then l have emails from the sellers telling me they dispatched everything and assurances from numerous phone call that the couriers never received it.
Stalemate.
Should have known better than to deal with a company with no phone number, obviously a scam of some sort

I ordered a bed for myself at the end…

I ordered a bed for myself at the end of January then I was informed that the bed would be delayed as a part was not available, then in the last couple of weeks I received notification that my bed would be delivered last Friday between 11 15 am and 13. 15 and I waited and nothing came I found a phone number on the email and phoned it only to discover that it wasn't the company but the courier and when I enquired about the status of my order I was informed that I would not be receiving it as it was damaged and they were going to contact the company.. Well I have sent numerous emails to them with nothing but the thing is that I have had to sleep on my recliner as my hospital bed has been uplifted.. I have complained and asked for a refund but nothing... Do not touch this company....

Do I have to give one star

Do I have to give one star, really, can I not give minus stars. Do not do any business whatsoever with these people. I had a defective bed,they would not come out to fix it, so asked me to arrange repairs and they would re-imburse me £25.00, the cost of the repair was £70.00, I have waited over 2 months now for the money and have given up chasing these con artist. All I can say is buy from these at maximum risk and poor quality goods.
