We purchased an Electrolux washing machine in 2020. Within one year it broke. I opened it to take out washing and smoke billowed out. It took 2 months for Electrolux to replace it, unfortunately for exactly the same model. We have had this one for just under one year and on Tuesday exactly the same thing happened. I opened the machine and smoke came out. We went back to the shop we purchased it from. They were very helpful and called Electrolux for us. The shop said we would have someone round within 48 hours. I received a call from Electrolux yesterday at 5pm with a woman speaking really fast French informing me that someone would come look at the machine next Tuesday. I tried asking her question and she hung up on me. The service with Electrolux is exceptionally bad. My problem that my French is not brilliant, but at least they should have a bit of patience and if you have had 2 machines, the same model as replacement and both nearly caught fire, they should be very quick off the mark to do something about it. So now I have to wait for someone to come look at it, order a part, waste of time, then wait another month or so for it to be fixed. I do not want this machine. I want it replaced with another model. Very fortunately the shop we purchased from will lend me a machine in the meantime. So Electrolux you are a very bad example of service.

Secondly trading standards will be notified of 'YOUR miss selling of warranties when discussed on registering the appliance to cover ALL PARTS 12 months warranty oh dear. You clearly do not respect your customers. A brand new home faulty appliances and second cooker HOOD.

not the greatest but my washing machine served for a few years before it gave up
Hi i purchased a gas cooker from Electrolux in 2015 cost me £900.00. This year when i was cooking i recieved an electric shock and my main fues box was tripped each time i tried to flip the switch back on it just switched off again.i left the cooker un plug and contacted Electrolux they apologise for my experiance and asked if they could send an engineer to compile a report.i agreed the engineer arrived looked at the cooker asked me questions and said every thing was fine got me to sign paper work which said the cooker had not been fixed and should not be used this took place in January, we are now in march and im still without a cooker and keep getting the run arround my emails dont get answered my phone call are never returned as when i call the person i want to speak with is always in a meeting on another call ect. A gentle call brian even attempted to convince me that Electrolux dont supply or fit the hard wire electrical lead and i need to get in contact with the gas fitter who fitted the cooker as thats why they feel i got the shock when i proceeded to inform him that the lead was attached when i purchased the cooker as it serves for the clock,timer,ignition he the said he would call me back. I am angry dissapointed with the service i have recieved and tryin to speak with the heads of departments is none existent what ever method you choose. Debbie Owen always in meetings gives you wrong information and dosnt do what she claims.Laura the same i could name more but i feel im just winding myself up.
