Quick and reliable payment gateway for freelancers like me in Pakistan

I run a tech marketplace that works with talent across emerging markets, so receiving USD and paying people in local currency is something I handle every week. I tested both Elevate Pay and Payoneer before committing. I went with Elevate.

A few reasons. Onboarding was fast and the interface is clean, which sounds minor until you have used the alternatives. Receiving USD is straightforward, and the conversion rates back to local currency have been better than what I was quoted elsewhere. For anyone moving money on an emerging-market corridor regularly, that gap matters at volume. The account is FDIC-insured through a US bank, which gives me more confidence than some other options did.

What I do not like: there is no card right now. If you want to spend directly from your balance, you currently cannot. From what their team has said, they are bringing cards back soon, so this may be solved by the time you read this. Worth checking before you sign up.

If you are deciding between Elevate Pay and Payoneer and your work involves emerging-market talent or USD payments into a local account, Elevate has been the better fit for me. Lower friction, better rates, and it is clearly built for this exact use case.

Other than the OTP in email process, I love Elevatepay. I have been using this to pay and receive payments with people I do business with outside of Bangladesh

The way this has been handled has been extremely unprofessional and very slow.

It used to have the best rates before, after their re-birth with new bank their rates are very very low as compared to real market. I withdrew my dollars in just around 276.5 where as Remitly offers 278.5 and above. Elevatepay is not giving the same rate as market. no doubt the servce is mostly quick but with these exchange rates its no good as compared to remitly. imaging withdrawing 6000usd in 2-3pkr less. 6000*2= 12000pkr , im losing 12000 with every transaction with them as compared to Remitly even Local exchange rates are better.

why i can't enter phone number at signup page it is limiting digits to 9 for Turkey but phone number is 10 digits without leading 0. I am not able to enter my phone number there.

I am little worried after reading so much BAD Reviews, I didn't face any issues so far and excellent experience. I hope they keep improving their service as I understand they are new in the market.

They lost my hard earned money and were not able to trace it. It has been more than a month since my last transaction showed as "Completed" on their app but in reality it was never processed. I have been in contact with their support and each time they have only one answer "Our team is resolving the issue". Every week I get the same response. It is very frustrating and not a reliable platform to use. It makes no sense to use it for the low transfer fees if they can loose huge amount of hard earned money and are not able to trace it.
