Apparently I signed up for a subscription to this service in 2013. I had no idea. I recently learned I had been charged yearly $58. That's right almost $700 later. I contacted the company but customer service was very unhelpful and unsympathetic to my situation. I didn't even know what this company was. I have not visited this website since 2013. And yet even though emeals can see I have not logged on to their website they happily took my money every year. They not only took my money every single year but did so without notifying me first. The fee was charged on my credit card. This is how these companies do it. They hook you with the free trail and hope you forget about it! That is what emeals did to me. The customer service was even more appalling than the theft itself. They refused to work with me, thanked me for my stupidity and wished me a happy day. They did nothing to help rectify the situation. They did not apologize for being deceitful and tricky. How many more people are being suckered out of $58 dollars a year. I will be reported you to the BBB. I think it is appalling that you will not refund my money especially since I received absolutely no benefit of your service. I would pass 100 times on choosing this company. Poor customer relations and deceitful.

I enjoy the variety of meals and ability to send directly to a store.

the system works as advertised, but they expect you to remember when the renewal is in case you want to cancel, in my case, I changed phones and wasn't using the app. they renewed my subscription and when I asked them to cancel, they cancelled for next year and told me they don't do refunds.

This app does make menu planning much easier. I enjoy the variety of recipes and 'diet' options as I like to switch up the types! I love that it allows me to check the ingredients I already have so I'm not overspending and it converts it my walmart app for the shopping list.

I typically LOVE the easy transition (less than 10 min at time) from recipe to shopping list. However, Walmart is the culprit today. I tried 3 x to get a shopping list. (AND they didn't have things like Farro or Zucchini Strips) No go...the app collapsed. So I went over to Instacart. More snags there. I finally went to Kroger. YAHOO..everything I needed was there! The app worked perfect, per usual, with KROGER.

Easy recipes, and so far we've liked all but one of them. Love the wine pairings, too, that was a surprise! And the biggest deal breaker is that it sends the needed grocery items to the grocery store for you! You can also add your own recipes and create recipes with items you already have.

So simple! Delicious recipes! Easy to use! You just can't go wrong. Works for any budget, any diet and connects to my Walmart app for an easy pickup! Saves time and money. Highly recommend!

I began investigating home meal delivery online in late April. There are several. I visited some of these companies' websites to see which may be preferable. In my April credit card statement, I found a charge for $99.98 from eMeals. I never placed an actual order with ANY company. Plus, eMeals advertises to TRY their meals for 14 days FREE. I had to dig deep on their website to find a way to inquire about this charge. Finally messaged them with their customer contact option. Will wait to hear before filing a DISPUTE of CHARGE with my credit card.

Love the ease of shopping with the app and the Walmart app.

I have loved this service since my kids were little and we printed out paper shopping lists. I started using it because I needed gluten free and meals made it easy to plan family meals that fit the bill. Years later I am still using it and love it even more now that I can use the app and connect it right to my walmart app.

Somehow ended up with a subscription - HOWEVER NO EMAIL or TEXT or PHONE to know how. No way to contact support. No warning before I was charged for the subscription in email etc. I have NEVER USED THE SERVICE. But they will not refund my subscription. Not impressed at all. No phone number for support, only an email and takes forever for them to respond. No recourse as a person, just stuck paying for somethig you NEVER used nor even though you signed up for - not sure how it got even signed up for - I have no e-mail in the email they say I used to sign up AT ALL about a trial or a subscription anywhere.

I love emeals for the most part. I do wish the app was a bit more stable, it seems to crash if you have to go in and out several times. It's so nice having a weekly menu sent to me and I also appreciate being about to switch out recipes to suit our tastes. I also love the feature to save recipes from outside emeals. I do wish it had an option to put saves into categories for easier searching.

I originally was using this service to help uncomplicate my busy life. I found that it was taking me more time to edit the grocery list than just making one myself so I stopped using the app. They did not send an email to remind you of an upcoming subscription renewal, so when i saw this on my credit card this morning I was not super happy. I immediately emailed the site and they refuse to refund even though I have not used the service in at least 8 months. Just becareful as they seem to thrive on you forgetting to cancel so they can charge you and take your money even though you don't use their product.

Good options, ease of grocery list, just a little too expensive

I love that the app makes your list and you can choose which store to send it to. I have noticed that I have to go through my shopping list and double check quantities of some items. Examples from my last shopping list. One recipe required 4 hamburger buns. Instead of adding one pack of eight buns, it added 4 packs of buns to the shopping list. Another recipe called for 2 green onions, it had 2 bundles of green onions on the list.I try to remember to go through the list but sometimes I get in a hurry and forget. One thing I wish they could upgrade in the app would be to add the ability to change serving quantities. Other than these 2 issues, I love the app.

CONS: There is a lacking of store options for pick-up. Wal-mart shouldn't be the only option available. I also wish there were some Air-Fryer recipes and more no-cook options too,

Love emeals, super helpful to me, love that it connects with my grocery list at Walmart, and my only tiny complaint is that some weeks are super creative with flavors and a variety, other weeks seem more boring or a repeat of lots of recent flavors. But it doesn't stop me from using it.

The meals were very easy to fix and they were delicious. I love the ease of use by having the grocery list sent straight to Walmart. It worked so seamlessly.

I absolutely love eMeals. It has added a few new great meals to our family rotation.

They help me stay on track with healthy diabetic meals. My whole family is eating better and enjoying the new dishes each week. We have even found a few that we saved so that we can make again. I also like that I can look at desert or more classic family meals if I want to also. All together a nice experience!
