I would NOT recommend an Empava Stove
There are several reasons why I’m returning my recent purchase of an Empava Stove. For starters due to very minimal structure of the framing with this stove it was delivered with several shipping strap dents in the front of the stove, the toe plate below the oven door does not have any support behind it and will dent in the future. The stove twisted and could not hold up to its own weight while we put the adjustable feet on it. Second the burner grates are too large for small pans, most of my pans tipped. Third I have LP gas the center burner orifice is permanent and can not be changed from natural gas to LP gas, making the center burner useless , a 5th burner was part of my decision to purchase this stove.Orifces matching Natural gas vs LP gas is essential for air and GAS pressure. Fourth the igniter clicks for a long time before lighting the burners allowing LP gas to sit low the flame up when the burner lights. I am returning my stove after less than 1 day .

After I purchased an Empava Range hood…custmer
After I purchased an Empava Range hood I realized after receiving it I had purchased the wrong one. In an attempt to try to reach Empava I tried to call and per their phone directory I left my number and waited for a callback that never came two days later I did the same still no callback, waited a few more days still no callback, so I called and stayed on the line was disconnected after several minutes waiting another try and the same result. Sent an Email explained my situation and the fact that their website lead me to believe I would be sent adapters for my application. A person named Hu replied to my email and simply said send it back. I replied back Can I send it COD no reply. Their website says they will deduct 20% of the sale for restock and shipping so I'm not going to pay for the shipping unless I have some sort of an idea how this will all come down. My last reply to Hu was on May 31 2024 asking him to provide a way to me to ship this back at their expense and still have had no reply. So thats were it still sits today 6/10/2024
I would rather do bussiness on the phone as apposed to hoping for a reply back, this could have been settled one way or another over the phone! Oh, I even tried to call sales to get the one I need in the interim and was hung up on! Would you trust this place?

Company is a nightmare
Their cooktop stopped working after 7 months. Then the real nightmare began. Empava seems to have one guy named Aaron who handles customer service calls in the US. I called and told him there was a loud pop and it no longer worked. He told me they would ship a new one the next day and would send me a tracking number. Great. A week later nothing. Called, got Aaron again. Told me the same thing. Few days go by I get an email saying a replacement has been shipped, but didn't get a tracking number. Ten days later the new cooktop arrives, only its a range hood, not a cooktop. Called customer service again. No answer this time. Left a couple of message over the next couple of days and no call back. Tried their online chat, no one responds there. Sent more emails. They ask me to open the box and take pictures to prove its not a cooktop. Did that. Then they ask me to seal the box back up and arrange with Fed Ex myself to come get the item they sent! The box is still sitting on my living room floor because Fed Ex never showed up. They finally send me a new cooktop a couple of days ago, but its a different model and size than the one I bought and leaves a slight gap in coverage at the back. I write customer service again telling them at the very least I need a trim kit to cover the gap. They write back and say they don't have a trim kit and "Could you please keep it?" This is exhausting. I give up. Never Empava again. Ever.
Terrible customer service
I bought an Empava 36” induction cooktop. It worked decent but started malfunctioning 1 month out of warranty. My first call I was able to speak to a support rep who had me email proof of purchase and a video of the problem. Since then I received 2 very vague emails on parts that I need and it almost seems like a scam the way I was told to order the parts. I have called countless times with no answer and left several messages with no return call. I would not recommend due to this being the worst customer service I have dealt with. I have recently started a kitchen and bath remodeling business and guess what brand I will not be recommending.

Since writing this review I was contacted by Empava customer service and they sent the parts I needed free of charge.
Single wall oven perfection!
Easy ordering. Prompt shipment with oven arrival as expected in new condition with no shipping issues. Easy to install by my Handeyman and cooks very well.
Moved in with junk empava appliances
Moved into a rental. Empava oven and stove. Total junk. Stove had a broken door seal. Unable to find a replacement anywhere other than “one” from eBay for 80 dollars. Contacted Empala multiple times with no avail. Send us twenty dollars through PayPal they said. I asked for a part number and would be happy to buy the part. Never happened. Questionable. Now the overly complicated stove won’t turn on. Total junk. At least have parts available and decent customer service. There are a lot of brands I would prefer not to purchase but they are looking great compared to empava. Junk,junk,junk!!!
No instructions. Doesn't heat up.
We purchased a brand new 24" electric wall oven Model #24WOC17. The instruction manual doesn't explain how to use the oven. The oven never heats up to the temperature I select. I begining to think it's defective and not user error. The fan is always blowing out the front. This is really frustrating. I can't find any info about how to use the oven on their website. Yes it was a good price and easy to install but it doesn't work properly.

Ordered a oven rack they said it was being shipped only to get a message one day later saying it was out of stock. Had to wait for refund on card for a week.

I ordered a second oven rack, and it was reasonable and came quickly.
I kinda think the oven should come with two racks..

• Follow up on my Aug 11, 2023 review
• 30WO01_30in_Electric_Single_Wall_Oven. Original amazon price = $1,496
• Purchased April 3, 2022. Unopened until recently due to delay in kitchen remodel, long term illness, and job layoff (all good now).
• This is still under warranty. I am hoping to be able to return it. If not, I’ll try to get something for it and purchase a better oven.
- Well, I finally finished installation. All OK there. The response I received regarding my install questions was OK, but I mostly had to figure things out myself.
Unfortunately, it is bad/downhill from there. I think, functionally, the oven may be good but here is our experience. This is brand new out of box and unused:
1. The finish on the stainless-steel edges on door sides and corners is bad. Short, not completely ‘down’ so there is a slightly raised edge. That edge is razor sharp. I sliced my hand open following the instructions for removing the door for installation. Maybe 1.5 in long cut needing stitches. I used butterfly bandage vs cost of urgent care.
2. The upper corners of the stainless steel ‘wrap’ on the door are same and can catch your skin or oven mitt. If we keep the oven, we’ll put a dab of clear silicone on the corners.
3. There is a spot on the door frame near bottom where the enamel is off. About half the size of a dime.
4. The broiler pan/rack is missing (included per the user book)
5. The oven emits an extremely loud electro (maybe mechanical?) humming/vibrating/buzz sound when pre-heat starts. Lasts for about a minute then dies off to 'normal'.
o Almost ruined Thanksgiving. Was going to be 1st use but was afraid to use it. Luckily, I was able to grill the turkey outdoors.
o I triple-checked wiring/connections including testing for any current/voltage leaks– all ok.
6. Note: At Home Depot there is a row of installed wall ovens. Maybe 4 of 6 have completely refined stainless steel edges on the door. Not loose, rounded so not sharp, and/or recessed a bit. It may be a biased perception, but they also seem to be thicker gauge stainless steel.
Elegant and works well
Empava overhead vent system was installed this fall. It works well, clears the heat and steam from the stove while still allowing a good view from kitchen through living space to beautiful open space beyond the living room. Just what I wanted

Hood fan is functionally very good
Hood fan is functionally very good, however, unit had two small dimple dents in the front. Not serious enough to replace but not good enough to get 5 stars.
It is actually too early for me to rate…
It is actually too early for me to rate or give feedback on the oven. I purchased this because it fit in the space without modification. Also, because it was priced right and it is a nice looking oven for our kitchen. It is also a good size for baking, although a smaller oven than my previous oven.
My biggest complaint is that I do not understand all the buttons and how to use them. There is a learning curve. I don't understand when to use convection bake as opposed to regular bake. Also, the temperature has never reached the level I set such as 375. It will show 370 or some other number; why?
I have baked a few things like chicken parmigiana. It turned out tender, tasty and well baked but we heated it up in the microwave before serving. It wasn't hot enough to serve. However, cheesecake and other dishes were fine.
Overall, I will give this a 4. I'm not totally happy or unhappy, and it may be a little too early for me to rate.
Empava range checked all the boxes
Took me a few months of shopping to finally decide on an Empava range. I wanted simple controls, high btu, convection fan, commercial look and black enamel top. Empava checked all the boxes.
Ordering process was simple. Range came within a week but alas somewhere in route to me, it was damaged. Knowing that I would not see the crushed side (btw, the sides of these ranges are reminiscent of art deco style, very beautiful) I decided to make it work and accepted a partial refund. If you order and have questions, be patient, you will have at least a 24 hour delay due to time difference. Seems as if all communication comes from over seas. Bottom line, pleased with the range so far.
