ENKE Ireland (c/o Moy Materials Group)
UPDATE – October 2025: ENKE FORMALLY ABANDONS WARRANTY IN WRITING
I have now received a final, formal response from ENKE's management in Germany (UK/Ireland Liaison).
In response to my request for them to intervene with their failing certified partner, Moy Materials, I was told in writing: "i would like to formally inform you that neither I or any of my colleagues at Enke-wErk will take any further actions or provide any additional response reagrding your matter."
This is a formal, written confirmation from the manufacturer that they will not stand behind their brand promise or warranty in Ireland when their certified partner fails. This is a final warning to any consumer, architect, or contractor who believes the ENKE brand stands behind its certified installations.

This review is for customers who choose premium brands like ENKE based on their reputation for quality and the assurance of a long-term, certified warranty. Our direct experience demonstrates a critical failure in this brand promise in Ireland.
The ENKE 25-year warranty is issued and managed by their certified Irish partner, Moy Materials. When we experienced serious issues with Moy's certification and service, we escalated the matter to ENKE's Head Office.
Outline of the Certified Partner's Failures (Moy Materials):
Before detailing ENKE's response, it is important to understand the specific issues we asked them to address:
Deficient Certification: Moy Materials certified a defective installation with multiple visible flaws (e.g., exposed OSB timber). The 25-year warranty certificate they issued also contained a significant factual error, naming a contractor who never worked on the project.
Broken Promises: A senior Moy technician provided a written commitment in April 2025 to fix the defects. However, in September 2025, company management arbitrarily reversed this decision in writing, refusing to complete the agreed-upon work.
Unsafe Conduct: During their final site visit, a Moy technician left our property without any notification, leaving the front door unlocked and open.
Our Escalation to ENKE Head Office:
We presented this comprehensive and documented evidence of professional and safety failures to ENKE in Germany. The key outcomes were:
ENKE confirmed back to us that Moy Materials had given them a direct assurance they were "working intensively to resolve your issue."
We immediately informed ENKE that this was factually incorrect, as Moy had already stated in writing that the matter was closed and were ignoring our communications.
A final deadline of October 1st was set for Moy to act on the assurance they had given to ENKE.
The Result of ENKE's Intervention:
The deadline passed with no communication from Moy Materials. Crucially, we have had no further follow-up from ENKE. Their process of "waiting for feedback" has resulted in complete inaction.
Conclusion:
This experience reveals a significant weakness in the ENKE brand promise. Despite being provided with clear evidence that their certified partner was actively misleading them and failing to honour a warranty issued under the ENKE name, the manufacturer has proven unable or unwilling to enforce a resolution.
Customers should be aware that the reliability of the ENKE warranty in Ireland is entirely dependent on the conduct of Moy Materials. If a dispute arises, our documented experience shows that ENKE's head office will not provide an effective remedy.
