Emotional Times in PORTO
The course was entitled Emotional Intelligence and Soft Skills for Teachers and Education Staff. (Porto, July 25).
The course focused on the following Key Areas:
Soft Skills,
Emotional Intelligence
Public Speaking,
Conflict Management,
Leadership,
Teamwork,
Communication Styles
& Listening Skills.
There were Participants from Ireland, Italy, Austria, Finland, Belgium & Spain.
The attendees work in a broad range of Education Areas including Further Education, Youth Education, University Teaching, Special Needs Learning & Mainstream School Education.
The leaning approach and teaching was delivered through a combination of activities including presentations, videos, case studies, group work, individual activities, role-play and reflective activities.
There were also plenty of opportunities for the participants to be creative and use the week for delving into their creative sides through the use of poetry, dance, song, art & drama. This challenged many of the participants but was done in an encouraging and respectful manor. The gains from this type of learning were many and much to the surprise of all - it opened up new possibilities and ways of working for all.
There was great learning through the shared stories from the various systems and structures that operate in each of the host countries. Participants were open, honest and continuously engaging.
Overall I would have to say it was one of the best weeks I have had on a Training Course in many years.
Last but not least the Facilitator was extremely skilled, intelligent, friendly and really skilled at his work. Thanks Marcello - You are amazing !!
Very interesting experience in great conditions, Thanks !
This experience was very interesting and extremely enriching. The organization's welcome was warm and facilitated good conditions for meeting, working, and exploring the area. The week's schedule was well organized and could be adapted to the participants' training needs. The explanations were clear and useful, and the materials and methods brought back to our respective schools will be easy to share with colleagues, who will certainly be very interested, and it will be very useful for the students. I enjoyed meeting professionals from other countries. This exchange was very beneficial to me.
I appreciated the instructors' professionalism, their availability, their commitment, and their kindness. I will stay in touch to promote this organization to schools in my area so that students can benefit from this Erasmus+ experience and expand their horizons. One Again, Thank You !
Perfect Lecturer
The lecturer was perfectly prepared for the classes and was able to create the atmosphere of trust and mutual understanding.

An extraordinary and truly enriching experience! The Erasmus course on formative assessment was intense, rich in high-quality content and stimulating practical activities. Marie, the trainer, is highly knowledgeable and always available; she was able to create a welcoming and engaging atmosphere, valuing every participant and providing concrete tools that can be immediately applied in the classroom. A valuable opportunity that I recommend to all teachers!

I followed an interesting course in Bologna. Thank you so much.
A really great experience in Tenerife
My class was very lively, the lessons were well structurated with many practical activities. Time passed pleasantly. There were plenty of opportunities to express oneself in speaking, writing, acting. Elena, our teacher, was always on point and could keep our attention high. At the end of the course I had all the materials available with many ideas for future activities in my job
I simply loved it
I simply loved it. The teacher; the ones who made the tours/dinners. Everybody was highly professional.
The course was amazing. Wonderful Experience.
Combined courses in Porto, July 2025
In general, I had a good experience during the week spent in Porto, Portugal. However, there are some details to be mentioned.
All free time activities were organized very well. I enjoyed Porto and all excursions.
However, combination of two courses was a bad idea on my opinion. As a result we did not go through the course materials deep enough. We were in rush to go through the slides and there was almost no time for detailed discussions or practice. I would like to mention the meeting room in the hotel, where was very difficult to be for 5 - 6 hours a day. Room is situated in the basement, with no windows and with a bad (if any) air circulation. Air conditioner was blowing straight to us, so it was off almost all the time to avoid possible health issues. It was hot in the room and felt like we were out of oxygen most of the time. Studying in such conditions was very challenging.
Best regards,
Marina Laine

Martina has been a very clear teacher in her explanations, and the activities were interesting.
How friendly are the organization and the components.
My experience was very good. Initially, I was very scared about the language because I don't use it. But I felt belonging the group, and totally integrated.
The contents were exposed very clearly
I'm very grateful

Perfectly arranged sessions with balanced part of theory, practice. Clear explanations, supportive attitude to every walk of life like sights, how to get there, pausa cafe talks:)
Valeria made us easily feel at home, we felt free about asking-bad questions don't exist:)-,she was so eager about sharing her knowledge, ideas with us. We can make a very good use of what we learnt at school, even in everyday life.
We all enjoyed every single moment of the training, the situations, videos , humorous and light up atmoshere all the lessons long.
It is a brilliant idea to have the training and accommodation of the participants under one roof, I am sure that is the main reason why we, the ELA team -EI and Soft skills-could become a team then friends.
I loved the well organized sightseeing with Seilan, the authentic places in Bologna.
Honestly, this week was the best adventure of my life, that's for sure.
In the future my school will apply for Erasmus again, but the standard was put so high, I will compare everything to my time in Bologna.
Lots of love
Positive feedback
We got all the neccessary informations on time. Everyone was very helpful and our course leader (Jorge García Rodríguez) was the best. It was an unforgettable memory and I would also like to check out your other courses.
Enriching
Very well structured, interesting, and informative. Coach Giulia was fantastic.
Interesting and very well organised
The training was very interesting and provided me with useful tools for my teaching and personal life.
The trainer was very well prepared and always showed that she was able to deal with all the personalities and opinions of the trainees.
The logistics of the training, including accommodation, training venue, meals and cultural activities, were very well organised and contributed to making the whole experience much more enjoyable.

Tutor was amazing, as was the tour guide and the girl shadowing. Very interesting talks and discussions.
We had a great group as well, everyone contributed and nobody wanted to outshine anyone
