Never again will we patronize E&R…

Never again will we patronize E&R Services, Inc. They came out on one of the coldest days of the year to service our gutters, and a member of our household actually watched them pry at the frozen gutters. A few weeks later, we found broken roof tiles on our lawn and deck. At the time we didn’t make the connection between our recent service and these broken tile pieces.

A few months later, we noticed our gutters were still completely full of debris. A second contractor informed us that:
• The gutters did not appear to have been properly cleaned and were packed with debris.
• There were broken roof tiles, located exclusively along the gutter lines E&R had serviced.
• Servicing gutters in freezing temperatures makes materials brittle, and applying pressure will easily break them.

Not once did E&R Services inform us of any cold weather risks, and we ended up paying $1,000.00 for cleaning and repairs. When we called them to address the damage, management was defensive, refused accountability, and blamed the freezing weather. If cold weather poses a known risk, they should warn customers or decline the job, rather than using it as an excuse after causing damage.

Very disappointed with their poor cleaning quality, roof damage, and complete lack of transparency and accountability. Hire a company that takes pride in their workmanship and respects its customers and their property!
