Been At excel driving school, is like having a personal instructor to full-fill your individual needs to achieve your goal. The instructor no only wants and prepares you to pass your CDL test but he cares, he teaches you how to be safe on the road as well.Thanks excel driving school for ever greatfull.

Today was a great victory, as I finally passed my practical driving test—after failing three times for not attending a driving school. The best decision I made was finding this academy, because the instructor, John Cochran, teaches from the heart—with true passion, extensive experience, and the best attitude I’ve ever seen.

I say this with full confidence, as I have over 35 years of driving experience across different parts of the world and with various licenses from other countries. However, because I had obtained or exchanged licenses previously in different parts of Europe, the USA, and Latin America, I wasn’t able to exchange my license for a British one. So I had to start from scratch—both the theory and practical tests.

The theory test was easier for me—I passed it on three separate occasions, as it expires every two years. But I failed the practical test each time I took it without going to a driving academy, because I felt overconfident due to my 35+ years of experience. Still, after Brexit, I was required to get a UK license from zero.

If you truly want to pass the test, this is your best move. There is no other way...

Richard was an amazing instructor who made all lessons fun yet professional. He was super supportive when calming test nerves and made me feel comfortable on every drive, i couldn’t have asked for a better experience!

Brilliant place to learn to drive keeps moods high even if you make a mistake not knocking your confidence which is brilliant. Rich helped me to my test and I smashed it out the park so highly recommend very welcoming also.

Richard took me on after previous bad experiences with other instructors and taught me from scratch. Had a cancellation for a test and andy helped me out with his car and did a great job at instructing 👍

Dean is the best instructor i could’ve asked for. Got me passed in under 17 hours and kept every lesson relaxed, comfortable and set to my pace. Couldn’t thank Excel Driving enough!

Thank you for the valuable knowledge and skills he taught me, I passed after just a few lessons with him. I had such a good experience learning to drive with Excel, especially with Dean as my instructor. Before working with him, I had already had two previous driving instructors, but Dean really made a difference. He helped boost my confidence and made sure I felt prepared for the test. Throughout my lessons, he reassured me, providing me with the guidance I needed and positive feedback. Thanks to Dean's support I felt so much more confident and was able to pass my driving test.

Lovely experience driving with vendla, she taught me hard but so well and I passed my class 7 road test first try!! She was lovely to work with and knows what to teach and when to teach it. I’m super happy with my experience.

My sons driving journey with a first time pass today has been faultless thanks to Richard. His patience, communication and reliability have been incredible. He really did put my son at ease from day one. I would highly recommend.

Having had lessons with two other instructors, I made the decision to switch to Dean and Excell, and I can honestly say the difference in my confidence and ability even after a couple of lessons was unbelievable!

I found Dean to be highly professional, punctual and entertaining throughout our lessons, making them something I looked forward to each day as opposed to a chore!

Each of Dean’s lessons were adaptive, focusing on areas that I felt I needed to work on and I found Dean’s feedback/ debriefs to be useful and understandable.

Before starting lessons with Dean, I feared that I wouldn’t get to pass my test full stop, however Dean got me through it and am grateful for all of his effort, although I will say I’ll be missing our lessons now I’m travelling solo!

My experience with my instructor Anekah has been fabulous and very informative. Due to this it has led me to pass first time I would recommend this company and instructor to anyone moving forward.

Two years ago I never would have dreamt of being able to drive, the idea itself would have given me a panic attack. However, when asking for suggestions of driving schools for nervous drivers Excel was by far the most suggested- and I see why. Dean from day one was the best person I could asked for by my side while I tackled my fear of driving, I never felt unsafe or like I couldn't ask questions. I always finished my lessons smiling and week by week feeling slightly more confident in myself. I will miss his terrible singing and even worse jokes and will forever be so thankful that he helped me.
