avoive expedia for booking hotel or flight.. they are not proffessional in their work and you will find yourself without money and without booking

the booked for me a hotel in dubai, 72070297168974 , this is the itinary number , they debited me for 360 euros in advance for 3 nightes from 24-27 january 2026 , they sent me the confirmation number from the hotel as well but the hotel says that he stopped working with expedia since 6 monthes ago , the hotel did not recognizee the ininary nore the confirmation number and he says that he has noting to do with them nor with expedia , i remaind in the middle of the way for one night and i booked again another booking dorectly with the hotel ... all my question is : why expedia get my money and confirm my booking if they have no more relations with the hotel (sun and sand) , i emailed expedia , they called me and said that the refund is not guaranteed and they have to email the hotel... but my friends , i can not stay in the street waiting that you solve your problem , this is a scamm ,,, sorry ...so fare one nigth of my booking is passed , expedia is playing with the hotel to make me loose time ... this is fraud .. sorry , i want that expedia refund me immediately and just to call me to say : we are sorry...,,, go to hell expedia....

This is a scam!!!

This is a scam, I paid for a place that doesn't exist. Be careful and check places on TrustPilot before you decide to pay online. In case of fraud, if someone does not know, you can appeal to the bank about the lack of service received and you can ask for the money to be returned to your bank account.

expedia.it partners up with fraudsters in Naples

Be warned! Through expedia.it and SupriceCar hire I tried to rent a car. The car rental company hooks you in with a very low price, collects you from the airport to their base in the outskirts of Naples and bullies you into getting expensive extra insurances. I stood my ground and not only was I not given my money back but I was left stranded in the middle of nowhere in the outskirts of Naples. As I complained to expedia.it they decided to take the defrauder's side and refused to refund my money. expedia.it partners up with sharks unworthy of the modern Italian tourist industry. Never again

I paid my car rental online with my…

I paid my car rental online with my Visacard. When I was supposed to get the car I couldn't get it. Why ? Because they could find out of blocking a deposit on my Visacard.

Other companies doesn't have this problem.

I didn't get any car and no refund.
Impossible for me to recommend this website/company.

My experience with Expedia was terrible I bought a reservation for a room on 3/6 2022 the system committed a mistake because the room was booked for me for 20 I immediately deleted after a few minutes they took money and they have not returned me anything the same day I booked another room that I regularly paid the law regarding the consumer is international and in the 24 hours can be deleted but immediately after a few minutes this can be done I can't understand why the Expedia assistance does not help I also canceled from the site!

HAPPY STAY AT CASA DEI CESTAI LINGUAGLOSSA (CT)

Hallo,
I have been at Linguaglossa in may 2017 Home La Casa dei Cestai.
I enjoyed very much my stay.
Very charming House situated in the historical center.
The owner very friendly.
For sure I will return soon during summer to visit Etna and Taormina both closed to Linguaglossa

Fraudulent & deceptive tactics to deceive customers

Contact their CEO Darakh@expedia to report fraud. He doesn't care but if enough people report on them, the authorities may remove their license, fine them & hopefully send him to prison as he is responsible:-

The following is how I was mis-sold their non existing hotel - Expedia's fraud for financial gain:-

9/8/16 hotel book through Expedia uk at London Kings Cross (central London) in order to easily catch the Eurostar train to Paris early in the morning.
Hours before travelling, Expedia emails that "they have made a mistake and the hotel address is not central London but Harrow"(13 miles from where I booked)
Customer wronged in 4 different ways:
1) charged for a hotel not booked
2) left stranded without a hotel!
3) wasted 5 hours & £££ on telephone calls Expefia, on the day of traveling!
4) lied to over the phone by a representative.
Expedia refuses to answer all written communication & requests & refund the charges fir a hotel that I did not book & have written evidence to proof.
When talking to their custmer service, do record all conversations!!!, as their representatives lie & say one thing over the phone and deny it in writing.
Expedia have committed fraud & deserved to be fined by the relevant authorities.

Deliberately misleading and deceitful.

The price I was shown, had a bold statement telling me "Total Price" . The quote also had a * over the quoted price. I looked at the bottom of the page and was given the definition " includes all fees etc.". Nothing stating that they were referring only to the hotel, and not the the final price. The quote I received on the expedia site was not the total cost I would incur. The difficulties I had reaching an operator were straining, and the customer help was unable to explain those misleading and useless pieces of information. Then I was put on hold for a long time. Then a supervisor upset me even more. Never again.

Expedia is the biggest scam WATCH OUT

Talking about customer service one of the worst here is my experience so I called looking to speak to a supervisor so this lady first started here conversation by name Janet and when she knew that I was extremely upset she was ending the phone call as name Betsy I promise this is the absolute truth ..so after addressing my complaint to her about the inconvenience of the multiple vouchers that I booked through them her first respond was (you need to contact the third party sir we have nothing to do with this) so at this point I was extremely aggravated here are the items that I booked with expedia : 1- flight which was about right but that's normal airlines don't mess around 2-rental car and what you see for rates are no where close to reality oh and their $9 insurance isn't something to count on based on fox rental car claims plus I wanted a sports car and got a Chrysler 300 instead but I don't know who to blame on this one 3-1hr Yamaha wave runner on things to do and here on that one I had to take my rental car drive up 4.5 miles from where I was staying at then park my rental at a public garage for $40 then walk up to this place called jet ski water sports rentals and show my voucher ..the first thing the guy says to me (WE DON'T ACCEPT VOUCHERS FROM EXPEDIA BECAUSE THEY DON'T PAY US) once I heard that I took off immediately got back in my car and drove back to the hotel 4- miami party pass another scam ..once I arrive to the hotel I was suppose to call them to have my pass sent to the hotel guess what I booked 4 nights for this pass so called to get it and they are only opened from. Wednesday up until Sunday from 2pm til 9pm and I arrived Sunday around 5pm called them around 6:30 pm to let them know I like to claim my pass and no one was there to answer the phone specially that I followed all instructions to redeem my voucher by calling 48 hours after booking through expedia ! 5- hotel number 2 which I thought after going through all of this that expedia isn't going leave me dissatisfied well guess what I thought wrong ..so I wanted to cancel my 2nd hotel reservation only because of the hotel I was staying at offered me a really good rate and I knew that my cancelation was late prior to date to avoid any additional fees but come on after all of what I went thru you people don't think I deserve a break ..they and the proof I called to explain so this rude lady talks to me on the phone oh and she was a supervisor as well and I tried to tell her what I went through and her answer was (what does this has to do with not charging late cancelation fees ) right there I knew I wasn't getting any special treatment for what been through!! I know that my review isn't going to go too far but I figured I share my experience to help save other people from going wasting their money with expedia.

I wish I could read it less than 1 star

the worst experience in my life between Expedia and their sister company Hotwire they have about ruined my vacation I have been charged 3 times for the same room and the same flight and nobody seems to want to give me my refund they promised immediate service but leave a message and will get back to you in 72 hours I wouldn't send my ex husband to do business with this company
