I have dealt with EVC for 10+ years and they look after our whole fleet of vans and cars. There is always such a positive response when dealing with Dionne Martin and Michelle Nunns from initial lease enquiries, order progress and then vehicle deliveries and collection.
An all round package in my view and Highly recommended with great service.

I used Express Vehicle Contracts to arrange a business lease through my limited company.

The vehicle was originally estimated for delivery on 15 June 2026, but was ultimately delivered on 25 July 2026.

The issue wasn’t simply the delay. During the delay, I received a written update from Express on 24 June stating that, following contact with BMW, the vehicle was at the port awaiting inspection and registration and should be making its way to the dealer on Friday 26 June.

This information subsequently proved to be incorrect. Following my formal complaint, Express investigated and confirmed that the update had been sent to me in error and had actually been intended for another customer.

I want to be fair and acknowledge that Kayleigh, who handled my complaint, was professional and kept me regularly updated, and Express did accept responsibility for the incorrect information.

However, the delay resulted in me being without a vehicle and incurring additional transport costs. I incurred over £300 in taxi fares, as well as having to rely on lifts from colleagues and family members in order to continue carrying out my professional commitments.

I asked Express to reimburse these documented taxi costs. They declined and confirmed that they would offer no compensation beyond the £295 + VAT processing fee refund, stating that they considered this to be a fair and reasonable resolution.

I found the reasoning for this disappointing. Express explained that it is a small, family-run business with 11 employees and operates on competitive margins, suggesting that this limited its ability to offer further compensation.

I appreciate that smaller businesses operate under different commercial pressures. However, I found it disappointing that there appeared to be little meaningful consideration of the financial impact the delay had on my own business. My request was not for substantial or speculative compensation, but simply reimbursement of documented taxi expenses incurred whilst I was without the vehicle.

On 10 July, Express agreed to refund the £295 + VAT (£354) processing fee as a goodwill gesture.

Unfortunately, as of 11 August, I am still waiting for that refund. I have chased Express three times and have been told that the payment is with their accounts department. When I asked for a specific payment date, I was told that it would be unprofessional to estimate a date.

I find this particularly disappointing given that the refund was agreed over a month ago.

The vehicle has now been delivered and I appreciate the efforts made by Kayleigh in handling my complaint. However, my overall experience has been poor:

* 40-day delay from the original estimated delivery date
* Incorrect information regarding the vehicle’s status
* Over £300 in documented taxi costs that Express declined to reimburse
* An agreed refund that remains unpaid more than a month after it was promised

I hope the outstanding refund is resolved promptly, but based on my experience I cannot recommend Express Vehicle Contracts to other businesses moving forward.

Superb customer service from the start to the delivery of the vehicle today. Regular contact and top service from all including Michelle and Carmel .. felt they actually cared about my experience and would highly recommend.

One of the worst experiences within all the years I’ve purchased and leased cars. The service was terrible, the car I ordered was put back and put back for months, there was at one point 3 weeks with no contact with them, I had an absolute terrible reply to one of my emails and not once acknowledged their down falls and failed service, all I was met with gas lighting, deflection and absolutely no accountability from their side.

Once the car finally did get dropped off, it was broken. Nothing worked correctly, and once complained again I was told “ah yeah it’s been stuck on the ramp for 3 months as they couldn’t move it”

I sent the car back, they said they were going to look for another car after spending more time back and forth on emails, she was getting me prices (Carmel) “because it’s the start of the new quarter” ….. still waiting now months later, no contact, no prices nothing!

I’ve had about 4-5 cars from these people and can honestly say they’re a sham, proposals done wrong, taking forever to get back to you, always an excuse of personal issues as to why the service has been so bad. I honestly cannot believe that this company has got this many good reviews.

I used to work in the motor trade is a business manager for 7 years and never ever encountered so lack of service and professionalism.

I’m not even one to leave reviews but I’m so disgusted and disappointed by the level of treatment from this company that I felt compelled to leave this review.

I won’t ever be back to look for any sort of vehicle and wouldn’t recommend them at all!
