GOOD The basic virus/malware protection is fine, and there are few to no unnecessary popups. The product does not noticeably slow down the average PC. Scans are pretty quick.

ILLEGAL: Always difficulty with installing the provided "key" (which they do NOT properly send as promised, and which is unnecessarily processed through yet another 3rd party company). Must send emails back to to, begging for them to activate a product I've already paid for. And, like most companies these days, F-Secure forces you into automatic renewal when you buy the product; you WILL be charged each year, unless you jump through hoops to turn off the autorenewal.
This is a violation of EU and many US state laws, but F-Secure does not care, and breaks the law.

UNACCEPTABLE/HUGE FAIL: F-Secure has NO firewall whatsoever (they purposely removed it over a decade ago, failing to listen to their upset users). You are entirely dependent on weak built-in Windows firewall if you use F-Secure. AVOID THIS PRODUCT.

I made an attempt to delete my account, but it did not recognise my password so I tried to change password which was impossible. Took me to the same page so I deleted my subscription from Apple and deleted the app. There’s nothing I can do. I try to email them but the email was returned back to me. I have been with F secure since 2019 but it is completely useless.

F Secure have put a 2 step verification process on my account, which I cannot access. They will not remove it and therefore I cannot access my account or cancel my subscription. The customer service has been non-existent and they will not help in any way. I have never authorised this change to my account and am left helpless.

f-secure internet security with VPN
since they put the antivirus software and the VPN together in one package, I only had problem with it. before when it was seperated its works very fine.

I needed more than 14 month till we found a goal, by taking out the VPN from the software.
but a big + they gave me 9 more month with the antivirus insted.
after I changed to another VPN company and it works perfect again.
I only kept the antivirus software till it will finish the deadline.

This app is no longer fit for purpose due to its battery drain. My phone was literally sucked out of its life overnight due to 80% power consumption by F Secure. I have deleted the app and will not be renewing my contract until this is fixed.

They took my money but provided NO SERVICE!!!!! Now I can't even log in.

I want my licence for which I paid or my money back. Those are the two options.

It's even doesn't let me download my invoices from aliexpress! Very irritating app. Now need to find how reinstall it. And I payed in advance for 2 years.

i would never go back to f-secure i used to use them a few years back and it was descent i don't what happened but all it ever seem to do now is let infection through the irony is that the free one have cleared up and continues to protect what f-secure failed to

Never bye anything from this scam company.

The service is so bad you'll end up having a broken pc/connection to the internet.

Their VPN service mostly holds IP addresses that are banned, and most websites refuse to let you access their website due to bad and suspicious service.

There is no reason for anyone to buy F Secure. You can get the same level of protection from a free anti-virus as well. F Secure does not even come with a firewall (many other Internet Security suites for the same price range do). F Secure has a broken interface that opens up every time your computer boots and the worst part is that you can just uninstall the product with no additional verifications. Click of a button, and your anti-virus is gone. :-O

Very bad service and customer relationship

Very poor ,always saying not protected and having to rejoin the same phone that itsalready on,won't be using again !

Nice company staff management is very nice and good COVID-19 policy is good

I was a user of F-Secure for probably 5+ years. Last year my laptop was becoming so slow that I bought a new one, and transferred the F-secure to that too.
I was really disappointed because this too was slow - very very slow. When my F-Secure subscription came up for review I looked around, and there were good reports of the inbuilt MS Defender. So I switched F Secure off, and Defender on. All of a sudden the laptop runs fast! I then went back and did the same on the old laptop, and bingo! It runs fast too!
Whatever F secure does, it seems to conflict with MS .. and slows the computer. Avoid!

Very poor communication service. they do not reply phone calls or emails for days and can take weeks.

Terrible product. Very buggy, can't update database, and keeps freezing. Not worth the money or your time trying to fix a dysfunctional product. I had to ask for a refund and although the product never really worked, they refused to give a full refund, and only offered a partial one. Essentially you pay for something that does not provide the service it's meant to. I won't waste my time again!

I have had F-Secure for a few years now and it has been effective.I decided to set up online banking and despite my best efforts I was thwarted by F-Secure. I contacted them but found myself confused and confounded by the help and support which really made me abandon my online banking facility.

F-secure product did not meet my needs.

It took a bit time to get reply for 30 day full money back guarantee.

Finally they refunded full amount. all good
