Poor service.
I booked a shipment of clothes 196 kgs
for Akhuwat Clothes Bank, Lahore, a charity, on 1st October 2025. They regularly send monthly WhatsApp messages informing that next container is leaving on 5th/ 15th or 25th of the month.The persons who came to pick up stuff verbally confirmed that the shipment will leave on 5th October 25.
I contacted them in early December and I was told that the shipment is in process of custom clearance, on my my insistence they sent a WhatsApp message too. On follow up later I was assured that the shipment will be delivered by end December. I contacted them on 24th/29th and 30th December they are giving contradictory information. First I was told it is in delivery loop, on my request to confirm it in writing change the statement that the shipment is still with customs. They refuse to confirm it in writing.
Though delivery period printed on invoice is 6 to 8 weeks, write 12 weeks at the time of booking. I tried to understand reason for extending delivery time, all I can guess could be one of following.
Pakistan has relocated next to Australia, hence longer sailing time.
Though they announce three dates every month but container is despatched once they have full container load which is uncertain.
Their reviews have plenty of complaints, a police case case too, on missing articles. They take their own sweet time to search the shipments for cherry picking.
Going through the reviews I noticed that either the reviews are bitter complaints with one star or five stars, nothing in between, often five stars with out any qualifying remark. Only one lady has posted remark that her shipment was booked in early February and delivered in June with nothing missing, she has given 5 stars for it.
In my opinion Fast Cargo professional responsibilities, customer care, efforts ends with receiving their charges, then it is only luck in safely receiving your shipment with indefinite delays.
