Very poor customer service
Shredder stopped working after just over two years. Contacted Fellowes for after sales support and they rejected warranty claim. I responded asking about the five year warranty. They stated it was only a five year cutter warranty and my claim for the shredder not cutting the paper wasn’t valid? No photos, inspection just straight up rejection of warranty claim. Very disappointed Fellowes.

Crap products & even worse customer service
Their products are utter crap and not fit for purpose. Their after sales service is even worse. The shredder gave up after a few days of heavier use (shredding my late Father’s paperwork). Contacted Fellowes and after taking their sweet time (many days) getting back to me they claim the shredder can only handle 30 sheets of paper a day (!), wrote me an a’hole-y response, declared I’ve voided the warranty and given me the proverbial two fingers. No empathy for my situation or anything. If the product can’t handle a decent amount of paper it shouldn’t exist as it’s not fit for the job. Shocking customer service so two fingers straight back at Fellowes and I won’t be buying their crap products again.
Not fit for purpose
I've had a few paper shredders over the years & the PowerShred P-42C is by far the worst. It is advertised as being heavy duty and able to shred up to 8 sheets at a time including paperclips & staples. Not a chance! The best I managed was 2 unstapled sheets at a time. After about 10 sheets the whole machine was jammed. The reverse function does nothing to unjam anything & I spend most of my time trying to manually unjam the huge amounts of shredded paper stuck in the top. It also has the annoying habit of sending clouds of paper dust out of the shredder into the air. A total waste of money. Do not buy
Product stopped working on second use.
Bought a laminator from Amazon, bought this brand as I thought it was reputable. Bought in May but not needed until July. First day it was perfect no issues worked well. Switched it on second day and loud noise followed by it churning up everything. It hadn’t been used or moved since the previous day. Contacted Amazon as out of returns window and their advice was to email the after sales. Went through the steps and contacted fellowes, twice and nothing happened. No acknowledgement nothing. Went back to Amazon and they refunded. My experience was the product was terrible and so are the company.
Cash back offer is a con
Cash back offer is a con. Ordered a shredder from Argos for home delivery, even provided Fellowes with the serial number but somehow the argos emails are not sufficient as proof of purchase. If I didn’t keep the shredder, then how do I know the serial number?
My mum is ill with cancer and now I have to chase Argos for an invoice!! Appalling experience. I provided the serial number - how much proof do you need!
I Love the Air Purifiers
I've been running multiple Aeramax 200's continuously for years without issues. The air purifiers are so good that I've just purchased two of the 300 series units.
Worst screen saver ever
Worst screen saver ever. Misleading and dishonest about protection and BS lifetime guarantees. I had mine for less than a week and it's garbage. Company told me it's only for scratch protection

DONT Waste your money. Fellowes P-30C!!! Claims to shred 6 SHEETS. Struggles shredding 2. Cheap and nasty. Won't buy anything Fellowes ever again!!!

My five year old Fellowes shredder stopped working today. I checked everything I could think of and even replaced the fuse, but no joy. I was ready to order a new one as five years seems like a pretty good lifespan for such a machine. However, I thought I would email Fellowes customer service to see if they had any recommendation. I received a call a few hours later and a very helpful lady guided me to identify and rectify the problem. Just a little toggle switch that was stuck in the off position. All working again now. I really appreciate that kind of support from a manufacturer, especially when the machine was no longer covered by the initial warranty.

Phone screen protector
I purchased it a screen protector for my phone 2 weeks ago. It was in a fancy box with limited lifetime warning on the box. I took my phone out of my pocket and the screen was cracked. I called your company and they said the only warranty was manf. defects and that I was out of luck. I worked in retail for many years and that's a pretty lame excuse after just 2 weeks. I will be sure to spread the word about your companies lack of service of your products and will never buy anything again your company sells. I hope you post my review so others can see what kind of business you have. Thank you.

Fellowes refused to refund my money for their
ION A4 laminator which gave off a strong chemical smell after turning it on for first time. The fumes given off so strong stung my nostrils for an hour after I had turned the item off.Retailer would not refund after passed 28 days of sale ( Xmas and new year bank holidays are counted in their 28 days.) Retailer offered replacement, however when the shop assistant tested another Laminator which also gave off a strong chemical smell, so refused a replacement-obiviously. I was told to contact Fellowes. So I did. No joy. No refund. Unsatisfactory Customer service.

Great customer services for returning my faulty shredder. Under a week from reporting the problem to having a brand new shredder arriving at my door. Highly recommend this company and especially Katy on the Customer Helpdesk, she replies promptly to my emails and kept me updated with my issue from start to finish.

OUTSTANDING CUSTOMER SERVICE
I contacted Fellowes on the off chance they had a spare bin for their smaller shredder. Given it was not really a fundamental spare part, I didn't have high expectations.
However, the customer service team, led by Katy, responded very quickly and said they would see what they could do, explaining that unfortunately they don’t sell spare parts, but on occasion they are able to harvest a spare from a returned unit.
A couple of days later, they had despatched one by courier.
What a great example of a customer orientated business. It may be a small item, but this shows a wonderful approach. MANY THANKS.

Excellent shredder products and first class customer service. Katy helped me with my questions and she was brilliant. To get the best from your shredder, do read the user guide and carefully follow the advice and instructions and you will be delighted.
Fab customer service
Just want to sing the praises of Katy at Fellowes customer service who was utterly delightful on the phone just now and gave me brilliant and very clear instructions as to how to rescue my 3 year old shredder which had got well and truly jammed.
(For the particular issue I had on my M-7Cm this involved oiling it where you put the paper in and then releasing the jam by putting a credit card through the credit card bit)
The shredder is now working perfectly again and I have learned, going forward, that I need to oil it regularly!
So glad to have saved my shredder from landfill.
Many thanks for your unusually good (in this day and age) after-sales service.
