A1 customer service.....our 8MC shredding machine stopped working after 4 months. Got straight through to helpful customer service rep, supplied the required info and proof of purchase and they arranged replacement within a few days. I didn't wvwn have to bother going back to the place I bought it.
This is probably the way it should be done but nevertheless full credit for doing it anyway!
Fellowes -- professional to their fingertips
I had bought a shredder one year ago. The shredding part suddenly stopped working recently. I was upset as I dreaded all the hassle of trying to get it 'sorted-- as it were. A few days ago I telephoned the number printed on the side of the machine. I spoke to a lovely lady who asked a few questions and tried to help. This proved impossible and she immediately said it would be replaced and told me whst to email to them. I then received a quick answer from a warm,lady called Katy informing me my replacement would arrive in a few days and would I take the one I had to be recycled. A totally painless and professional experience throughout. Can't praise them enough.
Shredder problem
I had an issue with a shredder and received a prompt reply (on a Sunday evening) to my email. By 11 o'clock the next morning everything was resolved to my total satisfaction.

My shredder stopped shredding and only worked in reverse.
I looked for help and advice on the Fellowes website and followed it and now my shredder works again perfectly! And I’ve followed the instructions for oiling it using baby oil. So now it’s like new again....

DX55 Air Purifier
I bought this product 2017 the switch on top of the machine made a bang and a spark flew out..Fellowes kindly sent me a replacement.
This replacement has started to play up, I can't get the CARBON light to turn off after replacing the filter. Called Fellowes, they could not assist me in getting the light off. She was going to send me a replacement until she discovered that this was a replacement machine in 2019. Therefore they cannot do anything despite the machine having a warranty for 3 years ! So beware if they send you a replacement machine it is not covered for 3 years! Seems a bit tough to me! 'Just diarise when you change the filter and leave the CARBON light on' the Customer service lady replied...
Good shredder initially, but didn't last and shameful support
I've had a Fellowes 450M shredder for 3 years. It cost £165 and is only used for home use but I wanted the extra security of the micro-shredding. I've always lubricated the mechanism every time I empty the bin. However, it has developed 3 faults :
1. It doesn't stop when the paper had fed through - I have to pull out the bin to stop it.
2. It 'pulses' as it is taking papers through and pauses every 5cm or so.
3. It overheats after about 60 pages are taken through and you have to wait for it to cool down.
The worst thing for me was that Fellowes support. It is out of warranty, but wondered if they might be offer a voucher to me to encourage me to buy a new Fellowes shredder. Their reply was "I am sorry you are having an issue with your Fellowes shredder. Unfortunately we do not sell direct so are unable to offer any discount."
So I wouldn't expect a Fellowes shredder to last too long and you won't get any help from them. Buyer beware!

Fellowes excellent customer service.
Can I simply say that Fellowes have demonstrated that their customer service is second to none. Curry's were completely useless when I complained about a failed shredder and Fellowes stepped in and without fuss replaced the item immediately. Everytime I have spoken to them they have been courteous, helpful and efficient. I have always used Fellowes' shredders and have never had problems until now but as I have written, the company gave amazing service. Well worth five stars.

Fellowes 300CL
Fellowes 300CL. This has to be the worst paper shredder ever made. The first one we received it was loud and and didn't work well at all. When called a week later to be refunded I was told they don't just refund someone will be out to look at it. Well they came out and looked at it and something on the machine was bad. Our company wanted to just get rid of this shredder but they had to send us another one. Promising us we would be so happy with it. Finally weeks later after poor communication we were sent another one. What a hassle it was to get it into the box witch the movers wouldn't do. Once the new one was received we set it up and it has been nothing but problems also.It does not shut off and if you don't check it important things are left in the tray UN shredded. We even had a credit card that was shredded and left the chip in the trap. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS PRODUCT. YOU WILL REGRET IT!!!!!!

Fellowes Corporate Office Helped ME!
I bought two Saturn 3i su125 laminating machines and both have broken.Customer Service was more than willing to replace with the same machine. I offered to pay the difference and get a better one, they claimed I may have used it for more than it could handle. I agreed with them but it didn't make sense for me to try the same model a third time. They wouldn't allow me to "upgrade" and pay difference. So I called THEIR CORPORATE OFFICE and Janet Moore Not only replaced it with a model that cost 3x the price of the original, BUT SHE DID IT FOR FREE! My daughter is a teacher and she will appreciate the upgrade to a laminator we have paid for twice. Janet went above and beyond to help a teacher in need.

Warranty?
Purchased a Followes H-6c and after only 6 months it jammed shredding a credit card.
Contacted customer services and they asked how frequently I oil it to which I replied.
Not heard anything else back from Fellowes and they have just decided to ignore me. Does a warranty or customer service mean nothing?
Consumer Direct is the next port of call.
Great office shredder!
Super happy with a new Fellowes DS3! I had an older shredder that would get jammed and was much louder than this one. Shreds thick credit card marketing mail with plastic replicas without any issues. Very easy to operate and clean.

after a fault appeared on our shredder, I contacted customer services, they
told us to forward proof of purchase, and within two days we received a replacement, which was an upgraded model as the present one was not made anymore. this company goes way beyond expectations, and I would always buy from them if I was looking to purchase anything they make.
Outstanding After Sales Service
Our P-58Cs shredder suddenly gave up the ghost 3 months past the 2 year warranty having only been used occasionally to shred sensitive household papers. I e-mailed Fellowes asking if they could offer any guidance to get it working again and had a reply about 20 minutes later asking for my phone number so they could talk me through a recovery process. About an hour after I replied, I was talking to Julie who, satisfied the machine had expired, said she would e-mail a form for me to fill in. This I did and received another mail to inform me a replacement machine would be despatched the next day. It was delivered the day after that.
The replacement machine is factory reconditioned and as a result only has a 90 day guarantee period but considering I have a working shredder again for nothing, I am extremely satisfied. that's the way to look after your customers.
