This low rating goes to ALL ferry providers, particularly those cruising across the Channel. They all advise to arrive 1 hour before embarking, which is most ill-advised as travelling during holiday high season will have you wait up to 2.5 hours just to get your passport checked both at outward an inward ports. They ought to monitor and report the historic queues (number of waiting vehicles and passengers) to expect BEFORE any bookings. This way, many could choose to fly instead as it might be cheaper and cost less time (The aera of Townshend-Thoresen is long gone!).
