Fake Casio watches - beware
I purchased a Casio AQ-230 Vintage Watch with Silver Strap from FINEBUY ONLINE SERVICES and was extremely disappointed. The product is a counterfeit. The overall quality is deplorable, with incorrect stampings and lettering that do not match genuine Casio standards. No original box or papers were provided. A key design flaw — the analog adjustment button — is recessed, whereas in authentic models it protrudes.
While shipping was on time, the quality was not. The edges of the strap are sharp, pinching, and bite into the skin. The alarm sound is tinny, and the display sits lower than on the original, making it difficult to read the digital output without staring closely for longer than should be necessary.
After the sale, the merchant stopped responding to my messages on WhatsApp, offering no resolution. While these issues might not be obvious to an average buyer at first glance, they are clear indicators of a fake product. I cannot recommend this seller to anyone seeking authentic, quality goods.
