I rarely provide a negative review, but my experience with purchasing a Geberit toilet has been extremely frustrating. I placed an order online, received an order confirmation of payment and order number. After 2 weeks of not hearing anything, I emailed the company requesting an update. There response was:

“Accounts have looked into this, and it seems payment never went through, so no order was placed, hence no invoice.

The item you require is out of stock, only white is currently available with a 2-day delivery schedule. This is our lowest price at present we can offer.”

Completely bypassing the fact that I had provided a screen shot of the confirmation and order number. And instead telling me I’d need to place a new order at a higher price. Realistically, it appears they did not process the order and are trying to call it something else.

I then attempted to call, but was met with the same response that they did not process the payment and it’s not their policy to notify customers of cancelled orders. And just said I’d have to place a new order at the higher price. Complete scam and lack of reasonable order processing. Just like uber drivers cancelling rides to get a hirer price. And Zero attempt to rectify the problem and completely ignored the fact I had a confirmation of order.

Wow where do I start absolutely disgusting customer service a guy called Adrian was very abrupt & rude not helpful at all, I purchased a shower tray & screens from them which came directly from the manufacturer of akw the tray was damaged they said because I was a bit out of time frame they refused to exchange so the manufacturer gave me another company to get a tray it came damaged x3 so because akw couldn’t give me an adequate tray they said as a goodwill gesture they will refund 1st class wetrooms MY MONEY for the shower doors well I ring 1st class wetrooms they kept fobbing me off saying oh we are waiting for relevant paper work e.t.c so I ring again they said very rudely YOUR NOT HAVING YOUR REFUND THERES NOTHING MORE TO SAY ON THIS MATTER I told them that is my money that was refunded by akw again your not having it! So now I have to go through trading standards will I win probably not but be WARNED IF YOU HAVE AN ISSUE THERE NOT INTERESTED IN HELPING PEOPLE WHO HAVE MOBILITY ISSUES I HAVE 2 people with mobility problems they just don’t want to know in total I am over £1200 out of pocket wouldn’t recommend them to anyone I will also be reporting there business

Can't praise them enough.

The process of purchasing equipment for my son's accessible bathroom was made much more straightforward by using this company. I was given honest, accurate advice, and Albert certainly went out of his way to answer my queries and deal with a couple of issues that arose. I wasn't made to feel I was being a pain, even when double checking details that I probably should have known! One item arrived damaged direct from the supplier, and when I let Albert know he arranged a replacement to be delivered the following day, with no fuss at all. There is obviously a lot of experience and knowledge within the company, with a well established and smooth process to meet the needs of those (like myself) who meet the criteria to purchase some items exempt from paying VAT - a world away from another company who told me I would need to pay the VAT upfront, and "claim it back from the government"! (By the way, this is not the case - it is up to the company to either not charge you the VAT, or else charge you but you then claim it back from them - if you and the item you're purchasing meet the necessary criteria of course)
I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending this company - I will certainly use them again if the need arises.

I discovered first class wetrooms (I think they are a family run business) during my months of bathroom research. I can't speak more highly of Albert and the team. They were very patient with all my calls (there were a lot), endless questions, and helpful with their suggestions and recommendations. Their prices are unbeatable; I know because I had a spreadsheet to do a cost comparison with other businesses.
I wouldn't hesitate in recommending them!
