This bank is fabulous, phone them up and you get a British call center where they talk you through everything and stay with you until your problem is solved.
We've been with them for nearly forty years and I have never had a problem with them, what other company can you say that about ?

Have banked with First Direct and can honestly say I have only ever had best service and phones get answered pretty quickly unlike many other banks .
Customer service has always been highly professional and efficient

I made a payment on my debit card online which turned out to be a scam. I noticed nothing had been debited from my account but very quickly received a call from First Direct Fraud Dept who had frozen the account. After a chat to a very helpful person and answering questions relating to the account, my account was unfrozen. I have received dozens of scam messages, texts etc over the last few years and thought I was clever enough to spot them but this one slipped through but it didn’t get past First Direct. Thank you so much!

I recently had to contact First Direct as I suspected that I may have been a victim of fraud and they were so helpful! As it happens, no damage was done but the advisor on the phone was very friendly, gentle and patient and was considerate of my concerns. He gave me advice for future reference and the call was also answered promptly which always helps when you're juggling a full-time job and a young child. Thank you so much!

Recently had to call first direct as I was worried that I’d experienced a potential scam. Fortunately I had got wise to it before any damage was done. I immediately got through to the bank and the person I spoke to was incredibly helpful and reassuring. Online banking app really easy to negotiate and help from real people when neccessary. First direct - First class.

Straight forward banking with no hassle. Never had any problems contacting First Direct , and call centre staff are always very helpful. I've been banking with them for nearly 30 years and continue to be impressed with the customer service.

The Gentleman on the phone was friendly, helpful and gave excellent advice about what I wanted to do. After talking to him he put me through to a lady who talked me through setting up a new saving account online. She was also very helpful and I succeeded in setting up my new savings account online. Everything was completed with the minimum of fuss. The overall experience was excellent.

I received a Text which I thought was from Tesco, advising me I had 12,900 points and that if I didn't cash them in within 24 hours, I would lose them, the link in the text took me to what appeared to be Tesco showing iems I could redeem with my Debit card, stupidly on my part, I tried to redeem an item, entered my card details and was notified by my FD app that an attempt had been made on my account, I imediately came off my phone link and contacted FD Support, within minutes, it was all sorted, card cancelled, new one issued, phone app suspended then reinstated, everything sorted within minutes, the Fraud agent was very professional and thorough, very impressed, thank you
