Fiskars purchased the Kitchen Devil Brand of knives. They used to have equally serrated sides, now they have different profiles, reulting in a curving of the knife when cutting in the kitchen. This... See more

I have a pair of Fiskars PowerGear HS72…
I have a pair of Fiskars PowerGear HS72 Hedge Shear. I went on their website to look for a replacement part for it under the Spare parts section. It lists next to nothing! I emailed customer service who told me none are available. The shears are mainly plastic, not robust enough for serious work and ultimately very poor value.
They really hate their customers
(1) No customer service phone number.
(2) They don't reply to support inquires made through their website.
So, combining 1 and 2 above, there is NO WAY to contact them.
(3) The reason I needed to contact them is that the replacement lopper blade I ordered has the wrong size holes, so the bolts won't fit.
Never buying Fiskars again. Already bought a replacement lopper from Tabor.

I had a weed puller that broke I contacted Fiskars, thinking they would send a replacement part to fix my weed puller I got from my son for Father's Day. They sent me a brand new weed puller. Fiskars Stands behind their Products. Thanks again Fiskars! GW
Very Disappointing
I have a lot of Fiskars garden tools and this is the first time I needed their customer service. I sent an email asking them a very simple part replacement question about a pole pruner saw attachment. No reply. Its like my email went into a black hole. On their web site Fiskars states the following.

We'd love to hear from you! If you have a question or comment about our company or one of our products, please contact us and we'll get back to you as soon as possible.
They don’t live up to this, in my experience.
Fiskars - Non-existent
Fiskars - Non Existent. Put in a warranty issue on their website. Asked me to put in pics which I did. They do not respond any further. Sent followup emails and still no response. No way of calling them - number given just says to do it online. Very poor customer service - but I already see that with the many other complaints against this company.
Lifetime warranty is a joke!
I submitted a warranty claim for a paper trimmer about a month ago. The plastic on one of the pieces (the paper press holder) on the trimmer was warped. I finally got an email response today that the warranty was denied because they claimed that the damage was due to wear-and-tear. I only use the trimmer once in a blue moon, so how the plastic becomes warp the way it did from "wear-and-tear" is beyond my understanding. There is no customer service number to call so I am left with no choice but to buy a new one (definitely not a Fiskars).
Not a legitimate company.
I have purchased two Fiskars Reel mowers. While the first one lasted about five years the wheels broke and although I could not find new ones, I thought it has served me well so I bought another one. Unfortunately, a very small part (set screw for the chain sprocket) fell out while I was using it and was lost. (two month old). There is no relevant customer service for this company at all. I filled out an online for the warranty service but never got a response. There is no phone number and no actual customer service presence at all. I will never buy another Fiskars product of any kind and will tell anyone who will listen that this is a bad company that should no longer make a dime and be out of business tomorrow. Totally disgusted
No customer service!!!
No customer service! You can't even contact them by phone. For email you have to send a picture of item. We have sent emails so far for the warranty they supposedly have on their scissors. NO CONTACT!
No one has contacted us back for months. Terrible!
Quality products from Fiskars
Quality products from Fiskars. Never had any complaints about any of their items!
Harmful breaking out experience!
There is not a customer service option for anyone to get in touch with Fiskers, so, basically they don't give a damn about their customers.
So far I haven't used the 2 products I bought yesterday. One is a trimming scissor and the other a plastic seed planter. Both were at least 3 times the price of other similar products.
I spent the better part of an hour trying to unseal the products from their commercial wrapping. I had to find 2 tools to assist me in this endeavor. Why on earth would a company enclose their items using tape, gummy goop and double thick, tight plastic security ties? This experience caused me to cut my finger with a knife and ruin the blade on a pair of my old Fiskers scissors. I'm very upset about this experience and Fiskers will now be removed from my life.
Poor service, likely denial of issue
Context: Part of this review is detailing Gerber service or lack of it and mentions another item only in context of the support for this one. The response to Gerber warranty has been from Fiskars thus this review.
I bought the Gerber Copper Affinity with no thumbstud, they didn’t have the thumbstud and was supposed to send me a replacement – got the Pledge. Not another version of the Affinity, the Pledge which is a much cheaper knife. BTW this process took MONTHS.
If you think getting a whole knife is better than a thumbstud, I’d disagree with you. I have cheap knives, I can appreciate something at the pricepoint it is sold at, the Pledge is not one I want at ANY price point. Extremely poor action (you cannot flick it open even with wrist action) and very cheap handle material.
I mention it just to show what you can expect from Gerber. Chicago Knife Works has a photo clearly showing NO thumbstud and the price has been lowered since I bought it. Gerber CLAIMS there has only been one other review reflecting they got one without it and they don’t know this knife being sold without the thumbstud, I think CKW is just more honest with the photo and has adjusted the pricing given this issue perhaps after it was discovered. Seriously (re)consider buying anything Gerber given the service issue.
They also censored review and Q&A on the Gerber product page, and have now switched to a moderation approval system instead of an automated one just checking if you're human. I will bet more censoring is coming.

Bought tree pruner on basis of life time warrant. Week one the blade spring snapped so unit unusable. Emails and phone calls go un answered. Shocking.

Called in got a recording to go to website and recording terminated. Fiskars has dropped notches at this point. Called about a BC0111 sissors Lifetime warranty.
Bad Quality and terrible customer service
We've had a kitchen devil knive since we were married in 1978 and still in regular use so when we wanted a new set of kitchen knives we didn't hesitate and buy a kitchen devil set. My wife was cutting a piece of cheese and the blade of one of the knives completely sheared off, i took a photograph and sent an email with the photograph attached we got a reply after about 2-3 weeks later and basically they said they would replace it if i supplied a receipt. We brought the knives about two and a half years ago who would keep a receipt for a low value item like that totally disgusted
Fiskar. Fiskars. Complete garbage product and the most…
Complete garbage product and the most importantly no lifetime warranty available for defective product even if it says so on the stuff that they sell.

Tree Pruner blade broke so I bought a replacement head and blade. The instructions are diabolical - I am in shock! Clearly they are a totally unprofessional company and I now realise that I should have just thrown away the first one and invested in a superior brand product as this exercise has just been throwing good money after bad! My advice - chose a better product and avoid Fiskars like the plague - if my blade bloke the odds are yours will too!
Top Notch Customer Service - Highly Recommend
After 20 years of regular use of our Fiskars lopping shears, the blade broke. We followed the warranty procedure providing Fiskars with a photograph of the breakage, hoping that they would send us a replacement blade considering we could not furnish the receipt. 33 days after the initial contact with Fiskars, we received a brand new pair of new and improved lopping shears. We couldn't have been more happier with the customer service provided. Thank you Fiskars.
warranty claim
i have been waiting for a month after fileing my claim got one email day of claim and nothing since after multiple emails!
Broken pruner - no follow up on warranty
I purchased a three set pruning from friskars and not long after, the smallest pruner in the set broke.
I emailed friskars since they have lifetime warranties on their products. I filled out the warranty form, attached a picture of the broken pruner, and One month later, no reply. I’m still waiting.
There is no phone number that I can call for a follow up.
