So far I like this service
I like this service. The search engine is good, it gives me exactly what I'm searching for and nothing else. I appreciate not having to wade through suggestions that really don't apply to me.
I had an issue with my subscription I called customer service and they were happy to resolve my issue and made me very satisfied. For most of the jobs it's been easy to apply using their apply option right there on each job post.
So far i think flex job is worth paying for the subscription. Let's see is I actually find a job through flex job.

I am an employer trying to post on FlexJobs. I like the fact that the site claims to provide vetted, legitimate remote job opportunities. As a hiring manager, the user experience is similar to that of job seekers with online job boards-so much clutter, scams, and fraudulent postings to wade through.
I was hopeful that FlexJobs would be a great place to recruit remote applicants, but after multiple attempts to create an employer account via phone and email, I have not received a response. Too bad for all of the job seekers looking for flexible remote, well paid postions. You can find us on Indeed :-)

The search interface is problematic
The search interface is problematic. The "hints & tricks" pane offers suggestions that simply don't work. I asked for all jobs that met a certain criterion, excluding any jobs with "Manager" in the title. The first three jobs had "Manager" in the title.
Calls to Help Line just sent me to India who recited the "hints and tricks" panel.
I tried variations of the search and paid attention to capitalization as well as whether the search scanned just the Job Description or primarily the Title. I think the database itself is sound, but scanning it manually just isn't useful.
Can't afford to pay for that.
