I have used their site since the advent of MS FSX and still use it for MSFS 2020.
I have used their site ever since I got FXS and was able to add so much to that simulator via Fly Away Simulation! Then MSFS 2020 was released and it has added that option too. Wonderful aircraft, livery, tools etc. and it is constantly updated. An extremely valuable site for the not-so-rich simmer.

Crooks who take your money and don’t respond to emails
Horrendous customer service. They went on to charge 3 months worth of pro subscriptions despite me asking them numerous times to cancel. No response ever received from customer services.
Unable to cancel via bank because the subscription was started using a guest account through PayPal.
Bunch of crooks if you ask me.

Recently we were having an issue with our support ticketing system for debit/credit card subscriptions that may have caused a non-response from our end. Essentially, tickets were being marked "invisible" and out of sight of our support staff. I can confirm this now appears to be fixed.
I can only apologize for this error and I have forwarded your individual case to the developers who will take action regarding this.
Refusal to cancel account; continuing to charge
I have been asking for my account to be cancelled for at least 5 months. Account has not been cancelled and they have continued to charge my credit card every month (I signed up as a guest with PayPal - do NOT do this).
They take forever to respond to the cancel request and then always find a reason not to cancel it (“we need your subscription id “ etc when this has been provided numerous times).
Not a good way for a bona fide business to operate.

The email provided to cancel subscriptions they ignore, I attempted their other emails and they simply ignored it. Charged me aswell.

Difficult to stop subscription
Third email now sent to try and stop subscription. Will be advising my credit card company to stop transactions.

Flyaway Simulations have a large variety of downloads
for different Flight sim manufactures, they even do a check for viruses before making them available.
The down load speeds are quite good as well.

I have followed Fly Away Simulation for a number of years and as a downloader of scenery for MSFS, I have been able to install sceneries not available from other websites. For a yearly subscription I find FAS worthwhile.
I thoroughly recommend the website especially for beginners in flight simming.

I’m an FSX Acceleration user on an old windows 7 Pc. Love this site for the freeware add ons both planes and scenery. Some of my favourites … Concorde, Pompei, Paris scenery, dolomites scenery, LHR T5, Thunderbird 2 including mole haha and even a space 1999 Eagle. ( showing my age now) I’ve managed to get most things to work in FSX. Just remember to keep preview directX 10turned off in settings … display… graphics otherwise you can lose some plane textures and end up with albino looking planes!

Fly Away Simulation has many free resources for those using all today's popular Flight Simulator software including aircraft, scenery and many other interesting addons.
