As a non-expert 'risk averse' investor I've found the ICE recommendations very worthwhile and have made modest gains from them. I use my S&S ISA providers broker info to cross check that from MF and find MF to be well informed. Decisions to sell require me to be aware of what's going on as regards my portfolio - MF is one source of info amongst others.

I have been a member of the MF Share Advisor service since its inception in 2012. As the name suggests, it is an advisory service offering suggestions and the rationale for the recommendations.
There are 2 sides 'ICE' recs for income/less risk and 'FIRE' recs more towards growth and higher risk. They have 'weekly' updates and offer 1 ICE and 1 FIRE rec on a monthly basis, and also a 'Best Buy Now' update on 3 recs on the 'ICE' and 'FIRE' side. Alongside these, they have updates on positions.
Having read some of the comments, I would like to say that at the outset, they make it clear that their thesis is for positions to be held for a minimum of 3 - 5 years. This is NOT for those who want trading over short periods. As for too many US positions, this is more on the 'FIRE' side as this is where many growth opportunities lay. They also do where necessary issue 'SELL' guidance when needed.
This service has offered me invaluable advice from not only members of the MF team, but also from other members of the service. It has given me the confidence and knowledge to build a well balanced and profitable portfolio.

I have been a memember of Motley Fool's share advisor service for a couple of years, and I value their advice.
It is not the only source of advice that I use, but it is one of the key ones.
I think it is important to distiguish between the 'paid for' advice, which is solid, and the 'free' advice.
The free advice comes from a number of sources, and consequently has a wide range of coverage as well as a wide range of performance.
I always consider the paid advice, and the free advice sometimes gives me other perspectives which I find interesting.
I feel i get value for money form this service

Well worth the money, made a fortune following some of their recommendations

An amazing life changing service if the advise is followed consistently for 5+ years. The recommendations are well written and easy to understand for non technical persons and considering how much money you could make over decades, share advisor is great value.

I have done well following you advice and recommendations on stock. Many more winners than losers. My only issue is that you site is difficult to access. I have my password stored on my device, but I am denied access more times than I have gotten access. If you could straighten out your computer issues youvservice would be Ming blowing.

All in all I get a really good service and regular updates to help invest wisely.

For a UK - EU investor, there is far too much reference to the US market and far to little UK, virtually nothing elsewhere. The info is however good.

I’m glad I joined the Motley Fool as it’s helped me choose shares that have given dividends over and above the market recently. The service does say it’s for the medium to long term. I use the service to help me decide on what to buy. As it is your choice on what to buy or sell. Overall very pleased would recommend it for new users to buying shares.

This is a genuine company, not a scam.
The advice is published regularly as advertised with emails notifying updates.
This is advice for long-term ownership of stocks & shares, advising which shares seem to give good value at time of advice, together with general advice for portfolio management. As always there are winners and losers but the advice has been helpful and worth the fee. Fees are processed in a professional manner.

I can honestly say that the monthly fire recommendations have been spot on.
I have several pay to recommend accounts and this has been the most financially profitable.

I have been with Motley Fool share service for years. I use their share tips Fire (higher risk) and Ice (lower risk) quite a bit and the majority (definitely not all) have done well, partly because I try to use my own common sense as well. So for the basic service I would give good marks. They also have occasional advice and videos some of which are good. In the last two years, they have moved into silly American style advertising for services that they charge much more for - at least twice the basic rate: 'last minute!' 'done miss out! 'are you coming with us?' all of which I hate and makes them look like mid-C19th mid-western sheisters.

My long term holdings include c20 UK Foolish equities. Routine updates and rare sell recommendations greatly valued.

This service allows you to pick a portfolio of companies that they are recomending. It's a long term investment. Obviously not all your picks will succeed, but your winners will make up for the loosers. I mainly invest for income but there are growth stocks from the USA here too.

Essentially, The Motley Fool subscription provides regular share tips and periodic updates on those tips.
Over several years those updates are almost ENTIRELY "buy" or "hold", rarely "sell". Clearly the real world is not like that and therefore A Motley Fool subscription is close to useless.

Fools by name, fools by journalistic integrity—this outlet swings between peak alarmism and peak permabull optimism with the finesse of Cramer after some white powder. For news that’s actually informative and accurate, you’re better off looking elsewhere. Frankly, even my pet rock offers more reliable insights.
This website is definitely a scam!! DO NOT GO ANYWHERE THIS!!! Stolen my life saving!! Sucks, Check the name on my display picture section to get refunded.
