Hi, I have been working with foxess for quite some time now, and I have the pleasure to work with the fox C and I team for the past 6 months and I can honesty say that their quality or work is fantastic. I have had loads of equipment installed and I can say that the quality is top draw.

ZERO after sales support

If it works you're golden but don't expect any kind of after sales support. I've had some issues with my FOX ESS system where I can't change any settings because of write failures. I've reached out twice and both times completely ignored. Go with a different brand because this company will not help you in the event you have any issues.

Massive thank you to Tristan and Ben from Fox ESS commercial team who within less than 24 hours notice went to site to reinstate a system that was experiencing a problem. The system is now all up and working, and our customer is extremely grateful to the Fox ESS team.

Great after sales support from Foxess…

Great after sales support from Foxess and Ben Humpries. Had a problem with commisioning a hybrid system, called Foxess support and ben came to site within 2 hours to support. Ben not only got the system running but shared knowledge with us to help in the future. The speed and efficency of the service gave my client reassurance in the service and product i had sold. Thank you Foxess and Thank you Ben!

Great service from Ben @ Fox.

After some initial difficulties getting some problems resolved, Fox have gone above and beyond to resolve some issues which weren’t ultimately their fault. Ben has attended last sight on the number of occasions and even stayed till 10 pm last night after installing a brand-new inverter at their cost due to a design issue by our installer.

He didn’t leave site until everything was working properly.

Thank you for the final resolution.

I’ve had a consistently excellent…

I’ve had a consistently excellent experience with FoxESS. The quality of their products is matched by the quality of their support, which is reliable, responsive, and genuinely expert.
A special mention has to go to Ben, who is an elite engineer in every sense. He’s incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and always willing to go the extra mile. No matter how complex the setup or how tricky the issue, Ben always manages to get me out of my predicaments with clear explanations and practical solutions.
Support like this makes a huge difference, especially when dealing with advanced or bespoke configurations. FoxESS clearly values expertise and customer success, and Ben is a real credit to the company.
Highly recommended.

ZERO Customer Support. ZERO Warranty support. One of the WORST brands.

Fox is the brand cowboys use to undercut quality installers. They offer next to nil aftersales support and the app is horrible. As is typical of brands from the Far East, when the battery fails (which it will) you will be left with a paperweight with no way to resolve the issue other than to buy a replacement.

Save yourself ALOT of headache - get a Tesla PW3 from a certified Tesla Installer instead of this rubbish.

What customer support?


I’m massively disappointed with the customer support from Fox ESS.
I’ve had two support tickets sitting unanswered for the past two weeks. I used to be a fan of the brand, but this experience has completely changed my view.
Even my installer had to chase them up—sending multiple emails just to get a response—and then spent over three hours on the phone. Despite all that effort, there’s still no clear solution in place to fix the system.
At this point, the system has worked for one month and been broken for another, which is completely unacceptable.
If you’re on the fence about choosing this brand, I’d strongly suggest looking elsewhere. I genuinely regret going with them.

Painful to work with

Painful to work with: phone lines that no one answers, voicemails left that no one responds to, terrible online portal full of bugs, hardware problems that they seem unable to solve... nightmare.

Broken app no customer service response

The update to the app (Feb 2026) means we can no longer control charging from the grid. This is a major reason we bought our solar panels. I have contacted Fox via the app twice and had no reply.

Had fox ess solar installed a few years…

Had fox ess solar installed a few years ago , the app has been dreadful at best , yesterday 13-2-26 they updated and it's taken away the easy charging settings, and with the new settings it's rendered our system useless, it will now only work as a battery only system to charge from the grid or a solar only system. Utter waste of money , keep well away. Not recommended.

Fox ESS system dysfunctional Wifi

Generally speaking the Fox ESS system is brilliant EXCEPT FOR THE WIFI DONGLE which is woefully inadequate and cuts off constantly, effectively making the entire system useless. Unless they upgrade this feature then I strongly recommend against buying Fox ESS.
