Always great service great crew and a wonderful experience. Thus was our 4th time on Bolette and already booked our next cruise.

Olsen Bolette was perfect. Cabin, food, entertainment, and every member of staff were incredible.

A really nice experience. The served food in the self service restaurant was a hygienic plus and the good view from all theatre seating was great.

The Bolette ship is beautiful, the staff are excellent, the food was exemplary, the cleanliness of the ship was also good. The show was as good as the west end performances. However I felt disappointed and dissatisfied with the spa, my nails are a mess from the service I had and had to have both my nails and feet re done when I got home. I asked for infills and a colour, I stated clearly not to overload the gel they looked “thick” she did not put a colour on and used BIAB which is a base to strengthen nail, the nail was not prepared properly either. I went back to ask them to make good and express my disappointment and dissatisfaction. She put a colour on, they looked awful there was product on my cuticles leaking on to my skin. Her parting words to me were “I am sorry I am not as good as your daughter” I have my doubts whether this person has been trained on gel nails. The similar issues for the pedicure, I was over charged on both services, I did receive a refund for one of the services, however I remain perturbed by this attitude and lack of experience/professionalism.

Staff sold us a cheese & wine experience on the agreement of a discounted rate as we had a drinks package. At the end of the event, we were handed a bill with the undiscounted amount so I queried it. But they were unable to change it. So I noted a discount onto the bill before signing it.
It took a full 24 hours of complaining - to guest services, the bar manager and the sommelier - to get the erroneous charge removed from my cabin account. Why did Fred require me to complain for a full 24 hours before any action was taken? The cruise cost us over £3000 and they're spoiling my holiday, just to extract a further few pounds

I could find no fault that springs to mind and really enjoyed my first cruise.

Spacious and well-equipped cabin, delicious food, good choice of public areas, professional standard entertainment and friendly and efficient staff. The perfect combination for an enjoyable cruise!

Really enjoyable. There was a problem with our bathroom, this was fixed quickly. We could not fault the cabin staff or any other staff, all were efficient and friendly

We loved everything about it - from the information before the trip, the embarkation process, the restaurants, the live music in the various lounges, all the different lounge areas, the covered lido area - and most of all the superb and friendly staff.

cruise was great, staff on board excellent. changes to itinerary and communication of changes unacceptable, completely changed the cruise, then to top it all instead of returning to port via west coast of uk and around north of Scotland before returning to Rosyth we spent over 2 days sailing up the north sea to Rosyth at about 10 knots considering our first day at sea was same distance to France but done in 24 hours. must have saved a fortune in fuel for shorter return distance and reduced speed

Great cruise operator but disappointed with very slow response to tour complaint which did not match description in brochure

Staff were friendly and helpful. Food was good and the ship was in very good condition overall. Boarding process and luggage handling was done very well. The wine that was included in our freedom fare was ok but maybe a couple of choices of each varietal would have been nice. Entertainment was a bit of a mixed bag for us but Dave Almond was very enjoyable!

Drinks were generally well priced. When ordering a drink from the bar it seemed like the bartender and subsequently the server were not pleased with someone going straight to the bar instead of just waiting for the server.

It would have been nice to know excursion departure times in advance as we may have booked an additional tour.

The tour to the Flåm railway was nice but too long of a day from Bergen. We didn’t get a chance to see Bergen at all due its duration.

A very relaxing adults only cruise along the Norwegian fjords July 2026. Plenty to do on board and thoroughly enjoyed the silent disco. Food was excellent and all staff very friendly and helpful.
Rooms were spacious and clean.
Borealis was a lovely small ship that took us along the quiet Fjords and docked at small ports.

Very hepfull all the meals are great entertament are fantastick one thing bath towel did not get clean one wile on board for 12 days thank you.

Everyone was very friendly and helpful. Ship very clean. Shore tours were well organised and all very interesting. Food and drink was very good, although sometimes food was not very hot. Cocktails often took a long time to serve (sometimes up to 20minutes) but they were very nice.
Would certainly travel with Fred Olsen again, and would recommend to friends and family.

I thoroughly enjoyed this cruise from start to finish. It was so well organised everything went well. The staff were exemplary. Always polite and very helpful. The food choice was excellent and very varied .You certainly couldn't go hungry! My only gripe and its not a gripe really is that it is so expensive for a solo traveller, otherwise I would be on board far more often .

Great trip, the boats are fabulous, and the crew amazing, cant do enough for you. Great food and entertainment too. Most relaxing holiday
