The wh 3000 weather station itself is…

The wh 3000 weather station itself is fine, but the software for connecting to WiFi is appalling. It is the most complicated and convoluted way of connecting you can imagine. And having just spent 3 hours of trying to reconnect after my WiFi went down for 5 minutes, I have given up. Wish I'd never bought the thing. Hate it.

This company have no idea what customer…

This company have no idea what customer service is. I've been contacting them without getting any feedback since the temperature and humidity sensors cables was damaged in my WH3000 SE WiFi. The problem is that the isolation plastic is not made for cold weather and get stiff and breaks off. So, I wrote them and asked what it will cost to buy just that part, but I never got any feedback.
I like the weather station, but some of the material is not made for northen outdoor conditions, and it took only a little bit more than a year for it to break.
They wanted me to ship it back to them so that they could investigate what was wrong, but since I'm working with elektronics myself I could easely find the issue. All they had to do is to chip the spare part and an invoice, but instead not a single sound.

Customer service excellent

By mistake I placed a duplicate order, paying it twice via Paypal.
I sent an email warning them of my mistake and, in less than 24 hours on weekend, they made me a refund of the duplicate order and they sent me the correct order, that arrived in perfect condition just three days after.
Superb experience.

OK products as such, but...

OK products as such, but if you are unlucky and get a product that fails after six month, you are on your own. No common agreement can be reached. All you get is long standard mails with hard policies, and no search for reaching a happy customer.

Avoid buying from froggit.de!!!

Bought a weather station WH3000 for less than a year ago. I was very satistfied with the unit. Suddenly the outdoor unit gave up, so I filed a warranty reclaim. They sent a letter "Refusal of warranty". Their 1 year warranty was suddenly only 6 months. I recommend avoid buying from froggit.de (HS Group GmbH & Co. KG, Escherstr.31,50733 Koeln). If you look for a weather station like the WH3000, don't buy it from froggit.de! Instead search for products like Fine Offset WH2900, Alecto WS5500, Ventus W830, Ambient Weather WS2902, OZWeather WH2900, Eurochron EFWS 2900 - it's the same weather station. And then buy from a company with good service and real warranty. For example conrad.de sells Eurochron EFWS 2900 with 2 years warranty!
