So slow 4 hours late bad service

Never on time. They wait until de ferry is full. We lost our train and they made us wait more than 4 hours

We went from Algeciras to Tangier and back during Christmas holidays. Firstly, our experience is that timing for ferries is approximate. We booked a ferry for 18.00 well in advance and got qr code, then they said at 17.00 that that ferry is cancelled and we should wait for the next one at 21:00 and be back one hour before. Since I have later noticed that our tickets are issued for 15:00 and not for either 18:00 or 21:00 luckily we got to port just before 19:00 to clear that. Then I asked why our ticket are issued for 15:00 and lady told us we should run to gates immidiately because the ferry was about to go. Then we ran to gates and then waited about 20-30min for police check. Then when we got through police check they said we should wait again. Finally we entered the ferry waited a bit more and got to Algeciras about 22.50. Be aware that Marocco police check is on the ferry. You need to enter your info on one paper before check at ferry. Do not miss it. Nobody will warn you should do it. On the way back we had luck that the schedule was ok(30 min late only) but we know that the ferries before us also did not go on time - passengers came to Algeciras with our ferry. Locals told us that this behavior is standard. So if you go with frs be aware that timing and info from them is not always relevant.

..Disastrous experience!!! Unreliable and disorganized!! Why? Here's why: We planned a road trip through France, Spain, and then Tangier for June. We got a drone worth 1000 CHF!!! When we arrived in Morocco, we were informed that it was forbidden to enter Morocco with the drone without a permit, and we had to hand it over! That wouldn't have been a problem. We received the following information: we would get a deposit receipt, show it upon our return, and be charged 4% of the item's value, no big deal! We were assured we would get it back.

Return trip: Since we wanted to continue our journey and take the first ferry, we arrived on time because we also wanted to pick up the drone. Customs control: When we arrived, we showed our passports as well as the form. However, the police officer said we had to show the deposit form to the border guard, and they would take care of it. We asked numerous employees until a customs officer informed us that the office only opens at 8:30 AM, it says so on the form!!!! First, this information was not given at the beginning, and it is also not on the form. Side note: I can speak Moroccan and read Arabic, and there was NO INFORMATION AVAILABLE, PLUS IT WAS NOT COMMUNICATED!!! Since the first ferry departs at 6, one might think that it would be regulated and taken into account, wrong!! 1000 CHF thrown to the wind. Memories and photos of the trip lost!!! No one could help us or made any effort to follow up. Attached is the photo of the so-called deposit receipt!! Catastrophe!! NEVER AGAIN!!

Delayed for 6 hours because of bad weather. Only problem with that, we watched ferry after ferry depart from other companies. While we just waited with no information given at all. Stuck in departures without any sustenance. Now bloody hungry as well. Won't sail with these again as I expect some sort of information about how long I will have to wait when there's a delay. Jokers.

We booked a last minute day tour (2 adults with 15 year old daughter and 12 year old son)with FRS Cultural Experience to Tangier (basic Tour) the night before we went and what a great day we had..... When you arrive at the port to collect your ticket the FRS Tour person for the day meets you and explains all (Ours was a lady called Stephanie) really helpful and made sure to look after you for the whole day.... On the Morocco side you are all brought to your coach and driven around the new part of the city (which is like any big city), but they you are brought to the Souk and that is where the real experience begins.... We were brought for Lunch (included in price) to a old Moroccan restaurant and Food was lovely - great to experience a typical Moroccan dish and the guide Ali Baba on the Moroccan side (Stephanie stays around at all times also) was super - very knowledgeable and funny :-) The Souk is an experience of old Tangiers.... All in all a fantastic day and worth the Trip.... Would have no hesitation in booking the FRS Cultural Experience as they were super..... Keep in mind it is Tangiers Morocco and the Souk is a bartering kind of place..... And yes you are approached by sellers to buy stuff (never forced) and yes that might seem like they are pestering you - but that's the experience of a Souk - its a market trading place and how life used to be in Tangiers.... Great Time

Never had so bad experience in my life. This company should not work. They are a band of incompetents. They sold tickets with departures at 19.00 while all the people in Marocco stop working…
The idiot at the FRS shop in tangeri med port told me that wasn’t an issue that I had time to wait them to finish eating and take the boat. But the boat leave before me. I’ve wasted 6 hours in this port thanks to those incompetents

In addition to a very convenient way to get to Morocco from Spain, I was really impressed with super effective customer support. Changing a ticket and getting a refund was very easy on WhatsApp.

The best Ferry company since years (to go from Tarifa/Algeciras to Tanger). Never have been disappointed. Perfect service, multi language, availability (phone) is one of the best, very kind people, communication is very fast. Customer for life (in sha Allah). Ahmed El B. [Belgium]

I would rate this with negative stars if possible. After waiting in the terminal for almost two hours- with no air conditioning although it is blazing hot— we were told our boat is closed. After realizing the representative was lying to us we pushed through to the dock. Where they did not let us board. Apparently they sold too many tickets and we watched our boat sail away.... the next boat was two hours later and had an hour delay. Our car got locked in to the parking garage since we got back closer to 1 than 9....

Ypu need to be at the terminal 90 minutes before departure. At a vast empty terminal waiting for nothing to happen for 90 minutes. You only get to the security at the time of supposed departure. Then another half an hour wait for boarding. Then another half an hour wait on the ship while cars are boarding. Then an hour and half sailing and waiting in queue at the ship for passport control. Then waiting in the airport-style bus at the terminal to take half an hour to take you out of the terminal. And after 5 hours you are off the terminal, one hour by taxi from Tangier. Unless you are traveling with a car, fly instead.
Oh, did I mention the site is seldom working?

I used FRS services from Tarifa to Tangier and back in december 2016.
On both ways the promised departure time was postponed and that produced delays in my later travel. For Tarifa - Tangier we arrived at 13:40 instead of 13:00 as promised. I had to wait until 15:30 for my next train to Casablanca. One guy checking the passports was not enough for the crowd inside the ferry. On top of that, those passports are verified two times prior to boarding. Can't you check them again while the ferry is going to Morocco??
For Tangier - Tarifa, delay 30 minutes and that made me to lose my bus to Malaga.
You could not pay with Visa and dirhams and only euro's were allowed though nothing was advertised on the website...
And it was written on one ferry, 35 minutes from one side to another. My a**.
