Lovely friendly helpful staff a great experience

Chris Hunt! He was amazing. We bought a table and chairs from him back in April and went back to furniture village simply because we really liked his approach and feels trustworthy and knowledgable. This time round we bought a bed.

Customer aftersales service is terrible, It took several weeks and multiple phone calls to arrange for the exchange of a faulty chair, when the replacement finally arrived it was worse than the original and I had to go through the same process again, when the next replacement finally arrived it was not the same and I discovered that the manufacturer had been changed, by this time I had had enough of Furniture Village staff incompetence so returned the whole set of 6 dining chairs for a refund which I eventually received after much more effort on my part. I have not got the time or inclination to write the whole sorry story but I can say without doubt that I will not be shopping with them again.
After receiving the reply to this review shown below, I sent the details requested and received this email as a reply.

I can assure you that this is not the level of service we aim to provide our customers, and I completely appreciate how disappointing and frustrating this experience must have been for you.

Somwhat diferent tone to the one I got from the customer service repesentative when I telephoned and insisted on a refund, he was anything but polite and if I were his boss he would have been instantly sacked.

Sincere aplogies are not accepted and are not good enough, they don't do anything to put right the many times I had to contact the aftersales team and put up with these hideous dining chairs until they were finaly removed
I wish I had read the multitude of negative reviews before I bought from these cowboys.

Good knowledge of product very helpful helped us find just what we were looking for

This has to be the easiest sofa buying experience I've ever had. Special thanks to Rachael who was very knowledgeable and explained everything to us clearly. Can't fault the experience and would recommend.

Chris provided exceptional service throughout, never trying to sell but giving input at the right times.

Rachel was very helpful and considerate of my additional disability difficulties and so were other staff. Looking forward to receiving my new couch.

Very good sales manager who answered all questions well and had a neighbourly approach

The store was clean and comfortable when we walked in.
There was plenty of choice on display for us to look at to help us decide what was and wasn't right for us.
We were asked by Chris if we needed any help and when we were ready to sit down and order her was very helpful, professional and friendly to speak to.

Mo and Chris from ipswich branch absolutely fantastic from start to finish so many laughs along the way thanks for the offer of a hot chocolate. We look forward to receiving our new sofas matress clock and pillows.

Totally delighted with my new sofa. Rachael in the Ipswich store went out of her way to help us make up our minds, but there was zero pressure.

She even managed to find one of the stones from my mother's engagement ring that had been lost as we were going around the store - totally over and above service!

The sofa was delivered early by 2 very helpful chaps and is exactly as lovely as I'd hoped it would be.

Keith was fantastic, he was extremely helpful and was very patient. Couldn't have asked for anything more.

We walked and immediately was asked if we needed help. The assistant sheikh was extremely helpful. Showed us all the rise and recliners in store . Then as a lastresort showed us one tha can cone as a rise and recliner. As I sat down I was immediately comfortable. So that was my choice. Sheikh showed us the different materials and my choice was made. We were offered refreshments whilst my husband did the paperwork. Will definitely recommend this ipswich store over all the others we looked in. Will be going back when we decide we need a rise and recline bed. We'll done sheikh 11/10. Thankyou.

Brilliant sales assistance when looking for & choosing new sofas. Decent pricing & 0% finance made purchase affordable. Delivery team were top class - friendly, helpful & efficient
