All the staff I saw were helpful and curteous.
The member of staff who dealt with my enquiry and final choice was extremely knowledgeable and very helpful.

Every time we have been into furniture village the staff have been amazing.

Tom Lawson was really informative and was a great with helping us order our dining room chairs.

Pleased with customer care by Tom in store today. He was very helpful and professional looked at deals to help us save money.

From start to finish it was a very smooth service

We had a great experience with Gary when buying our new bed and mattress. He was incredibly helpful, knowledgeable and friendly throughout, without ever being pushy. He gave us the perfect amount of time and space to look around and make our own decision, while always being available to answer questions and explain the different options.

He also suggested alternatives we hadn’t considered and clearly knew the products really well, which made choosing the right new bed and mattress so much easier. Excellent customer service from start to finish — thank you, Gary!

The reason for 4 stars being order was 26/6/26 dining table and 4 chairs,2/4 delivery a little longer was not a problem.
2 weeks later they delivered the table NO CHAIRS
We called them as who wants a table with no chairs,to be told oh won’t be until September
There was no communication from them to advise us of this .
Our chairs were delivered 9 weeks later.
If we had known this we may have ordered different chairs or took our custom elsewhere.
On the signed paperwork marked LEAD TIME it states
IN THE UNLIKELY EVENT MY FURNITURE IS GOING TO BE DELAYED I WILL BE ADVISED AT THE EARLIEST OPPORTUNITY.
This did not happen
We did receive compensation but we should have been offered chairs to tide us over as we have not been able to use table all summer.
Maybe they should take this on board for other customers.

Staff were great to deal with. Although all products were not available at initial order, they did confirm timescales and the remaining item was delivered as promised.

They guys that delivered and built the chairs and sofa were fantasic . Very friendly ans helpful. James and Jimmy.
Love getting told a time between and then a call 30 mins before . Very good service.

Can't praise this shop enough the staff are so friendly the cookies are great 👍
We have bought a few pieces of furniture now and the guys are brilliant big shout out to Hayleigh who has been our star always making sure we get our orders swiftly.

Recently purchased a corner sofa from furniture village. Having first visited here and seeing a great deal we then visited 4 other shops near by to compare. Turns out there was no comparison in both style, quality and especially the level of customer service. Hayleigh was fantastic to deal with. Gave us all the info without any of the usual sales pitch. Really helped us make the right choice. Fantastic company with even better staff.

We were made welcome no pressure. We were told all about the suite we picked the man who seen to us couldnt have been anymore nicer I would recommend your store to everyone.

I have to be honest and review Furniture Village from the experience we had

We ordered 6 items from the Edinburgh showroom and left happy at the time with the quality of the items we had ordered, although these items were not cheap, we were willing to pay for the quality, when we left shop then it went downhill. After being promised a 3-week delivery timeframe, which was hand written on our invoice, our expected delivery time for all items is an amazing five months later, the entire experience has been a complete nightmare of broken promises and total incompetence.

Showroom Misleading Signage: One of our items was originally ordered incorrectly due to wrong display signs in the Edinburgh showroom. No apology was offered, though it was eventually corrected.

No-Show Deliveries & Disruption: Two months in, we were scheduled a delivery slot for our chest of drawers. We sold our old chest of drawers and bedside cabinets to prepare, only for no one to show up. When we chased them down, we were given no explanation—just told another chest of drawers had to be re-ordered. Our clothes have been living in suitcases and plastic bags on the floor for weeks, with over a month left to wait. A separate delivery scheduled for our bed was also missed without warning but did eventually arrive along with other items. But we are still missing 2 items after all this time.

Missing Items & False System Records: When a delivery finally arrived, we received the bed but only one bedside table instead of two. Shockingly, their system still shows both tables as delivered, even after we told them numerous times. Our we getting our bedside cabinet, i really don't know now.

Bad Comms: Glasgow warehouse promised a callback—never happened. Edinburgh showroom said the order was "on its way"—it wasn't. Customer Services promised an urgent delivery of the missing cabinet and a call from the regional manager—neither happened.

Paying for a service and being dragged along for five months with phantom delivery dates, missing stock, wrong orders, and non-existent management follow-ups is utterly unacceptable in my opinion.

Can I send this all back now?

Good service when answered but had a long wait before answered

What made our visit to your store so good was the sales man Brian. He was so helpful telling us all we needed to know about the furniture we were buying. There was no hard sale which was great as this can be very off putting when you feel you are getting pushed into buying something that you are not really wanting. This was our first visit to Furniture Village but I would recommend your shop to friends and family and we would definitely use your shop again and all thanks to Brian.
