Dishonest Real Estate Company
Over the years, I have bought and sold several properties without issue—until a recent experience that has been frustrating.
In June, I sold a property, and the buyer arranged the closing through Investra Title LLC, a now-defunct subsidiary of Fuzz Re. Unfortunately, this turned out to be a serious mistake. The funds from the sale should have been wired to my mortgage company on the day of closing to pay off the remaining loan balance. Instead, Ryan Schroder, the owner of Investra Title, withheld the funds for three weeks. Creating a financial risk for me.
As a result of this mishandling, I have filed formal complaints with both the Minnesota Attorney General’s Office and the Minnesota Department of Commerce. In my experience, Schroder demonstrated not only a lack of professionalism and competence but also a complete disregard for ethical business practices.
