Worst service ever. We purchased multiple appliances from Gaggenau (over $200,000) and when we required service for our coffee and wine fridge, the technicians failed to show multiple times, didn't even knock on the door and left while we waited weeks for them to schedule appointments. The coffee maker does not drain properly to this day and we have had a lot of issues with it.

How can something so expensive be such poor quality? We replaced our kitchen a few years ago and fully kitted it with Gaggenau products, at vast expense. I have to say the the ovens are great and we love them - despite some problems with the doors, now fixed. However, within about 5 years we have replaced the fridge (chronic condensation issues), the £4,500 hob (control unit and now power unit) and after three repairs and replacement parts, we are now going to replace the dishwasher (touch controls do not respond to touch). That's about £8k worth of equipment binned within 5 years. The after-sales support is ok (i.e. they pick up the phone and book engineer visits), however availability for a visit is poor and we have to wait weeks for any investigative/repair work, they often have to make multiple visits (so we went for 3 months without the hob before I lost patience and threw it in the skip, replacing it with a Miele), and it is extremely expensive to pay for repairs. We are really disappointed with the quality of the kit and have now replaced it.

We purchased two ovens (BOP250 and BSP270) last year. Unfortunately, both of them went out of order in their first year of usage. BOP250 didn't lock its door for the cleaning cycle from the very beginning. It was repaired and then fully stopped working 3 months after the control panel was replaced.
However, it is only half of the problem. Another story is absolutely unacceptable Gaggenau aftersales service. I lost count of how many times I had to call them to get my ovens serviced and then replaced.
After a month of living without any working oven at home I still have no result to my requests, not even timeframe for their services.
Unfortunately, I can't recommend anybody neither Gaggenau product, no their service.

We bought the Gaggenau in Catania, Sicily. We have spent 12.000€ in 4 Gaggenau kitchen modules. There are some parts that they included that cost 500€ that are useless, impossible to install. Gaggenau Germany do not accept that we send them back. Why is that? They are brand new, still in the package. We can’t even install them. There is a design error plus the authorized dealer also made an error. No one is acknowledging responsibility.

By far the worst quality product ever experienced
I have the coffee machine, always gives errros, never work.
Never ever buy this

DO NOT BUY GAGGENAU UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES. We are on our third in wall plumbed coffee machine and waiting for another replacement. So far NO response from Gaggenau. The second and third machines had exactly the same problem.
We had the same Miele machine in two previous locations and it worked PERFECTLY. Do NOT buy GAGGENAU. It is a complete nightmare.
We also have the ovens and they are very counter intuitive. Very difficult to use. Miele is SO much superior. Never a problem and easy to use with perfect results.
Why did we buy Gaggenau? Because the kitchen designer said to. We were so stupid.

Their dishwasher was faulty and broke after 2 weeks, when an engineer came to fix it he caused over £9000 worth of damage plus chipped my £11,000 quartz worktop. Their “serious incidence” manager offered a £300 settlement! Disgusting company, do not purchase products, not only is their customer service terrible, their engineer workmanship is disgusting and their products have faulty parts! In the process of logging a small claim against them.
I would rate at 0 if possible I own a gaggenau bs281610 combi steam oven with the same defect which occurred 3 times. The glass lens in front of the halogen bulb cracks from the heat of the bulb and the heat and steam from the oven cavity. Once this happens it cross out the main board which is not protected. Very expensive appliance now there are no more main boards available for a known problem. Gaggenau offered me an unacceptable offer of 40% off a replacement at $6000 cost. This is a bad design and known to Gaggenau and they should of prepared properly instead they choose not to care. Why spend 4 times what their competitors charge for horrible results from service. Stay with products like Sub / Wolf or Miele where they put the customer first and always have parts.
Thumbs down for Gaggenau which for most of their products are just a dressed up Bosch except for cooking products

Yet again another product failure. My first experience with Gaggenau was 18months ago when I moved into a property and the fridge was broken it took over 12months to sort, total removal of all units and new fridge @ £7,000 to uplift the units by less than 10mill!!! now my oven keeps overheating, the call out charges are what they are for 1hr, but thereafter are extortionate, why pay the premium for this brand, DO NOT BOTHER.

Stay away from this brand. Worst customer service for the most expensive appliances. You can't rely on them. We paid more than $60,000 for appliances that needs 2 times installations, because the first time didn't work. And every time you have to wait more than 3 months until they show up. Very frustrating.
I could not disagree more with the below reviews. Customer service has been fantastic when we had an issue with the Microwave. Robert and his team Graham and Nicole could not have done more to help - polite and professional. I only wish Miele were anywhere near the same standard.

Horrible order process. 30 day returns and electronic sales are final. Site has 3 different order numbers. Nightmare customer service
The company updated this review and responded to immediately. I’m still waiting on a return to be initiated.

I've had Gaggenau appliances for 20 years in 2 different houses... ovens, microwaves, fridges, gos hobs & grills. They're brilliant. Never had any issues

POOR SERVICE!!!!
I had a service visit on 22/05/23 to fix my freezer which the problem according to the technician was the door switch was not showing the door closed correctly and it was charged £200 for this!
After 2 days my freezer is still not working and I contacted the service to inform them and to come again and now I need to wait more than 2 WEEKS the the next visit to repair what should fixed before.

Horrible terrible experience at Gaggenau Brasil. Don’t ever shop there. They will not help, disgusting customer service. Not even the owner will try to help you. All your problem zero help.
Even worst than 1 star! I had been so disappointed by the customer service. Wine cellar was broken after only 6months. They came to change it totally. Sill during the replacement they make Eur5k dommage within our appartment. No protection on the ground and on the wall. Service customer is awful. Please do not buy Gaggenau
Honestly so dissapointed with Gaggenau products.
We wanted to buy best for our new kitchen.
1) Coffee machine, it keeps glitching all the time, especially during cleaning programs. We bought the one with automatic water change (5000EUR) and it is really useless. Water gets old, and the water tray slippery after one day and it is really hard to wash because of the sharp corners and uneven form inside. The interface is so oldschool. Milk need to be put behind the door, so you just keep opening that door 100x times a day to clean trays etc. Really not user friendly at all.
2) Oven - why the hell the door needs to open to the side? My friend burned her arm because of that, you cannot leave the pan on the door and you cannot hang a towel. It feels like they just wanted to do something differently, but was not thinking what that means in practice.
3) Cooktop. We have the one with removable twist pad - I mean who needs that? My kids took it once, and I could not find it and the cooktop did not work. It can get lost easily. And it does not work well, it is glitchy, when you turn it wobbles, so it is difficult to set temperature or time precise. The induction is weird - most of the times it is heating just one side of the pan.
Honestly it just feels like they think about the exterior of the appliance, so people would think if it is expensive, it must be good.. I will never buy Gaggenau ever, and will recommend to all of the people I know to not to buy either. I had Miele before, I can tell you, it is 100x better.
1 hour 45 minutes on hold to be told the wrong information about third party repair companies not needing a work order (product is under warranty).
Another 3 hours on the hold later and still nothing to show for it …
Bought a dishwasher from John Lewis, the thing cost a fortune, was useless and unreliable.
Gaggenau smacks of the emperors new clothes to me , flashy exterior, inferior interior.
Looks like jl no longer sell their stuff , not surprised
Also when I asked for a brochure an arrogant condescending person almost suggested was I the right person for their supposedly amazing products…
Well let me start by saying that Gaggenau products work well when they work. However, after only a year, our expensive dishwasher has failed. After five days, of calling every day to request an engineer visit, we have yet to hear anything from Gaggenau's engineer. This is frankly unacceptable for any business, let alone one that proclaims it offers a five star service. Someone needs a rocket - and we need a working dishwasher.
