This site has had this manual review problem for a long time now, with many of their reviews on ITAD being negative, and now I see why. There's also no way to contact someone to immediately cancel the payment.

I could of bought the same game for the same price and got the key immediately, yet here I am waiting hours for a key. They claim it's a necessary evil, yet other sites do it far quicker. Shame. Will not be buying from here in the future and will be actively trying to steer others away. You shouldn't take someones money than deny them a instant activation product, then not be able to contact anyone for hours.

Very competitive prices on obscure DLC. I love using GamersGate because I never have to worry about duplicate keys from what I buy, plus it's nice seeing them often beating sketchy reseller prices on simulation titles. My only mild complaint would be their site gets a bit cranky during key retrieval if you buy a bunch of stuff at once, but it's not a hugely big issue.

Item delivered as promised. Not instant though in comparison to the competition.

Terrible service. You purchase a game and it goes under "manual review" for an undetermined amount of time. The whole point of instant digital purchases is to be able to use your purchase immediately. I will never use this provider again or recommend them to another person.

The website works well and it's rather quick, I had an issue with my command but the staff was pretty reactive, thanks Andrew who was of greath help !

I bought a DLC for Epic Games but the code was only redeemable on Steam. I thought it was interchangeable but there was no way to access it. I contacted customer support and asked if they could refund my purchase. It was only $2 so it wasn't a big loss but they came through! Customer service was friendly and helpful. Thanks!

When you make a purchase with them, your order goes under "manual review". So they take your payment immediately, but you have to wait (hours, days?) until you can start to download your game lol Absolutely ridiculous.

Don`t buy anything from them. They put this order on manual review which is taking maximum 24 hours... Now almost 2 days, and still didn`t get the key. And they can`t give an ETA...
Of course they give me a 20% coupon... No way to buy anything from them...

I found through gg.deals a deal on a special edition of a game i wanted and when i went to purchase it i accidentally clicked on only the dlc that was a similar price. The website offers a strict no refund policy on keys. but the reason i gave them the 5 stars is because they understood the mistake and gave me a full refund.

Even if something does go through or an error occurs talk to the support staff before writing a bad review

I initially bought a game (Order #26944247) and the order was selected for manual review, which wasted several hours of my time. The status eventually changed to "Item Refunded," but my "My Games" page was empty and no refund had been sent to my card.

After contacting support, they informed me that there was an issue with their API. Fortunately, they did send the refund and even provided a 50% off code. I was able to apply that discount on top of the existing game discount, and this time, the order processed instantly.

While this whole process was frustrating and time-consuming, they did resolve the issue and offered compensation, which I appreciate. Hopefully, they improve their manual review system to avoid these delays in the future.

like many others here i bought dragon ball sparking zero on gamersgate.com. upon realizing that they were having problems distributing codes i asked for a refund in their customer service box. the refund was swift and without question which was nice because their policy makes it look like refunds aren't just handed out. while i could've just charged back after i bought the game elsewhere gamersgate made the pro consumer decision to do a no questions refund and that's worth something

Don’t waste time or money on this unless you want YOUR game that YOU purchased to be held hostage for however long. ANNOUNCEMENT: Do not spend your money here if you want a guarantee that you will have access to your game in the same day. I have never thought I would see the day you can buy something and have no idea when you will receive it.

I bought a game from then and it took some time to get the code. I message the help center and they helped me with reviewing my account, to issues with regions and have a quick response. I will use their services again !

Same issue as below, with no fix insight.

Purchased using guest account. Email address is an outlook email address. Asked to login once my card was charged. Unable to login and unable to reset my password (never created an account but it states that an account already exists).

Unable to contact on discord, still waiting reply via Facebook.

Totally unacceptable, quick to take my money but won’t provide my steam key.

Not sure how to even get into contact with them!!

They're pretty decent

Honestly, this was one of the most frustrating experiences I've had with a key retailer like this. When viewed in comparison to competitors like Green Man, Humble, and Fanatical, I don't see myself returning for future purchases.

I made a purchase yesterday using guest checkout, but after my payment was confirmed and processed, I was required to log in to access my key. Given that I hadn't created a password with my purchase (again, guest checkout) I was unable to log in to actually redeem my key.

Most sites that use guest checkout will either send you the product codes through email, or create an account for you and either provide a temporary password or have you reset it right away to access your purchase. But as I can now see based on previous responses on Trustpilot, it looks like they're having trouble interacting with Microsoft-based emails. (MSN, Hotmail, Outlook, Live). This meant that I had no way of interacting with their support team directly via the ticket system on their website, and no way of resetting my password, as any password reset email would've been sent to my Microsoft email.

And since there's no disclaimer on their website about known issues with Microsoft-based emails, there's no way for the customer to mitigate this ahead of time. (Seriously, gmail and yahoo are both free, and if it means I can access my purchase right away, that's an easy workaround.)

Regardless of their justification, I was stuck without access to my purchase for nearly 24 hours, and I was only able to contact a support rep after trying to get ahold of their social media reps on Twitter/X and Messenger. (I did eventually get a response on X the following day!)

Usually when I buy a game I expect to be able to start my download and get to playing the same day I purchase it, at least. That's the whole point of buying digital over physical. I lost a full day of my already-scarce free time to this. No sale or promo is worth this kind of hassle.

A little confusing at first but once I had the account for both this website and steam worked out everything became incredibly easy. Great prices. You do not have to wait for a steam sale to get a deal.

No instant here, no email from.the company and it's been over 24 hours now - so much for my f$king manual review. Will take it up with my USAA Credit Card for Fraud.

WT%F you don't like Hotmail.com and I don't see any thing from ypu in my Spam Filter. You guys are just a certified scam artist
I AM TAKING IT UP WITH MY CREDIT CARD COMPANY.

I try to use Gamersgate to buy Steam keys as often as possible since 1) they're Swedish and 2) I can pay in SEK and use my Amex for points.

But, the delivery time for the keys are long. The last 3-4 purchases have all been selected for manual review and, even though it says it takes max 24h, it usually takes longer. I get it, you've had problems with bots but when do I become a trusted customer? My account is 10+ years old and has 10+ purchases.

Don't be in a rush if you need a key from this site.

I purchased a game and opened the steam code, not knowing that they sell only PC games and not consul games (PS4) and that the latter is not compatible.
