Disappointing
Ordered a bed for my dog on 16/06/2016. Received an email on 22/06/2016 to say they was awaiting my item and it would not be dispatched until 27/06/2016. I emailed them on 28/06/2016 to ask if the dog bed had been dispatched and if not, then I would like to request a refund. They emailed me back on the same day (28/06) to say that my order had been cancelled and a refund would be processed to my account. It is now 09/07/2016, I have not yet received my refund and this company has had my money since 16/06/2016, they obviously never had the dog bed in stock in the first place, yet they still was advertising it as being in stock and still processed my order and debited the money from my PayPal account. I can not recommend using this company, and can not see how they expect to get return custom if this is how they treat their customers. Very unhappy customer.
Refund received after review on Trustpilot
I'm pleased to say that following my review on Trustpilot, I received a full refund of the money I paid for a garden bench cover in 9.2015.
Poor service
I ordered items on the 22/216 when they had not arrived by the 4/3/16 I contacted the company to be told that the items had not bee delivered to them but they would be arriving soon and be dispatched.
they had not arrive by the the 18/3/16 so again contact was made by me to find out why
The reply I received was that the items would be sent the beginning of the next week
Nothing received by the 29/3/16 so I cancelled the order and asked for a refund.
no refund came by the 8/4/16 so again contacted the company about the refund and was told my request would be past to the accounts department to process straight away
19/4/16 still no refund
I purchase lots of items on the internet and this is the WORST SERVICE THAT I HAVE ENCOUNTERED
I will never ever order anything from this company again
No stock or refund
Ordered a garden planter on the 5th March. Didn't hear anything for nearly three weeks until I called. Told would be in stock next day and would send by 24 hr courier. Then got an email saying supplier out of stock. Still waiting for a refund so have raised a paypal dispute. Ordered same item from another supplier yesterday, delivered today, perfect.
What a load of hassle and poor service. Pay a little more and go elsewhere.
Poor Service
I made my order on 27th February, in plenty of time for the day I needed my order which was a gift. I made contact, via email, yesterday (9th March) as my order hadn't arrived in the time stated in the original email. A lady left a message for me this morning to say that there had been a delay in supply and that customers were being emailed accordingly (I have received no contact whatsoever).
When I rang back to say this, I was told that customers had been contacted via email, although I haven't received it, nor is it in my junk folder. Upon talking to the lady, I was lead to understand that they hadn't received my order until the 3rd March, despite the money having been taken and receipt of confirmation from both Paypal and Garden Best Buys website.
I couldn't find anywhere to leave reviews on their website, however, upon reading the reviews on this website, I see that the problem seems to be more widespread. I think that, perhaps, rather than blaming the supplying company, who may also have been at fault, Garden Best Buys ought to admit to, and make amends for, their own mistakes too.
I was not impressed with the level of customer service or lack of attempts to keep customers happy - apologies go a long way! I wouldn't order from this website again, nor would I have ordered in the first place had I read the reviews on this website prior to making my order. This is a shame as I like to support family run businesses rather than the major online retailers who must offer a high level of competition.
Took money no goods sent.
Ordered a propagator on 22nd of February. It's now 7th March nothing turned up. Emails not going through to them. Phone number just rings no one answers. I am having to go through PayPal to get my money back.
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.

Ordered some dutch planters over 3 weeks ago and not a word from Garden Best Buys regarding the delay. How hard is it to let people know when there is going to be a delay?
Poor service
I placed an order on Nov 15th. No delivery and no contact from garden best buys. Eventually the phone was answered and I was told e mails had been sent. Never received. Was told delivery of goods to them was overdue. After several phone calls from me I was told the goods were due any time. Some days later and another phone call I was told the goods had arrived and would be posted within the next few days with 24 hour delivery. Six days later my order finally arrived on December 18th. Frustrating experience.
NO STOCK, NO COMMUNICATION
I ordered a wooden planter on the 14 May 2015 and still waiting for delivery. I emailed Garden Best Buys on 20 May to find out when I might expect delivery. The reply was that they had emailed me ( I did not receive an email) that delivery would be at the end of week ie 22 May or early the following week ie week ending 29 May. Nothing received. I rang them this morning 1 Jun and was told they had emailed me over the weekend ( I did not receive an email) and that their supplier AFK had manufacturing issues with unprecedented increase in orders from 25% to a very precise 78%. When was I likely to receive my order was my question which could not be answered. I asked Customer Services to send me an email confirming my call just to make sure that my email was correct and I actually received it. Come on Garden Best Buys you can do better than this. My order is for a birthday on 15 Jun my order was placed on 14 May surely I will not be left disappointed. I hope not.
ships in 2-3 days means NOT IN STOCK AND CAN'T GET IT !
I had NO communication from this company from the day I ordered goods that were advertised as ships in 2-3 days. After waiting a fortnight I had to contact them only to find they didn't have the goods they advertise and clearly couldn't get them, They blame their supplier but still continue to advertise the product on their site as ships in 2-3 days. This is misleading as I believed I would get my product in this time frame. They refunded my paypal account but I have been told this can take 30 days before the money goes back to my credit card. All of this inconvenience has been caused by Garden Best Buys falsely advertising goods will be shipped when they don't have the the goods to ship !
Good value
I bought two Nuttery bird feeders cheaper than I could find elsewhere saving about £14 overall. These are our second lot of nuttery feeders which we like because they are squirrel-proof but roomy enough to allow robins and long tailed tits access, even nuthatches and blue and great tits of course. Once we realised that you can take the feeders apart with a screwdriver our old ones have been renovated and thoroughly cleaned and can be used again.
A good product but an unexpected delay in delivery.
We bought 3 cloches which we thought were in stock but the company had to await delivery from their supplier before forwarding to us. We were not kept informed of this situation and had to phone to ascertain why delivery was delayed. The cloches when they arrived were very good apart from the flimsy tent pegs to hold them down to the ground.
Very good serrvice, product and price
Very happy with service and delivery process as well as competitive price. Wheelbarrow is large and seems to be very robust and fit for purpose and was delivered fully assembled. Durability will only be known later. Definitely would recommend Garden Best Buy.
