I bought an extremely expensive pair of…

I bought an extremely expensive pair of Mr Leight titanium glasses. The brand seems to pride themselves on build quality but they had the worst durability of any glasses I've owned. Within months the legs loosened and they fold back on themselves, tightening the screws only improves this for a brief period of time before it starts happening again. One of the legs snapped off within 18 months of ownership, which was about 1/3 of the price of the frames to replace. Now after 24 months the frame has completely snapped on the other side, meaning I had to tape my glasses together to drive home. A very expensive mistake; these are fashion glasses for wealthy people, they have no durability whatsoever.

Poor quality and terrible customer service. Breaking the law

This company sold me a pair of faulty frames of terrible quality that broke within a month from regular use. The temples became loose and the plastic around the frame started to loosen so I contacted customer service who told me to take them to a local store to have them repaired at their expense…HOWEVER they could NOT be repaired according to several opticians because the screws and nuts keep falling out of the poor quality product, so I contacted customer service again but they are refusing to give me a full refund or a new pair of frames including shipment which they are obliged to by EU law. They also ask you for credit card details over insecure email and are not treating your data in accordance with EU GDPR law. My manager and I have wasted an incredible amount of hours arguing with these people to make them follow basic consumer rights laws but they simply don’t care and we are now looking into turning this case over to the authorities.

The Garrettleight Customer Service Team makes your experience unforgettable!

I was looking for the newest x Parks Project glasses and found out that they are hard to get.

After contacting the US Team via the Website Chat I got redirected to the lovely Service Associate Stefanie who contacted me directly and took ownership of my request!

She was incredibly helpful and tried everything to get me those glasses! I felt very good and knew that she will find the glasses for me. After no time she found the best way for me to get my new sunglasses!

Amazing experience I have never experienced on such a high level from any other company!

Keep up the good work!

Ps: I apologise for fellow shoppers on their behalf- which can not choose sunglasses that don’t slip from their faces :)

Unprofessional, unethical and non-existent customer service

I purchased a pair of sunglasses that kept slipping of my face. Their FB page is also full of reviews that mention quality issues.

I spoke to multiple employees including CS reps, store managers and their director. None of them were helpful and they needed constant nudging to get a simple response. They proposed that I purchase another pair of GL sunglasses instead.

I'd stay far away from this brand. It's overpriced, lacks quality and should there be any issues with your items, the brand will not be assisting in any way.
