I put an order in on the 29th August with a delivery date of the 5th but instead of being delivered I got 4 emails to tell me my item didnt arrive in the delivery (both items were in stock according to the website). I should of learnt from my last experience (2024) where items were shown in stock but when I ordered it got pushed back a few months. When I contacted them regarding this they said that the website sometimes lists stock from Ireland and my guitar and case were sent out. When I recieved my guitar the g string had come out of the floyd rose and needed some small work to set things right. Ive lost faith when it comes to ordering anything other than strings or plectrum. Avoid gear4music and pay the extra for baxmusic, Thomann or one of the other instrument stores.
Edit: (14/09/26 got an email regarding this review/ my order. I asked for a delivery date which wasnt given to me i just got yet another estimate date of the 22/09/2026 which isnt actually what i asked.
I was also offered alternative pedals none of which were a distortion and noise gate which is what I placed an order for, and besides if I wanted another pedal I would of chosen another 1 instead of searching to find a music shop that stocked both the EH nano metal muff/noise gate and an ibanez tubescreamer mini. I dont think the reply i got was bad but if alternative options are going to be suggested atleast make sure the alternative has the features of the item its supposed to replace.

Gear for Music in my opinion provide a great service with a vast range of products and good delivery options.

They had a good price for the keyboard I ordered. The item arrived in good condition and delivery was quick. However, their website did not make it clear that the product is supplied without a power supply and customer services were not particularly helpful when I queried this with them.

Perfect delivery and items were exactly as adverstised.

Initially had an issue with this pedal board but Gear4Music customer service was excellent and they went above and beyond to make sure I was happy with the product!

Right product and delivered on time with no fuss...as always!

The bags have been used several times and are much easier to transport the drums. The extra zip pockets have been an added bonus. No added bits and cymbals to carry as everything is in their allocated space, safe and sound. No more forgetting or losing anything.

The guitar or cable that came free with it has an appalling buzz. Either the cable jack is faulty or the socket in the guitar or amp is. They were dirt cheap so I maybe shouldn’t always expect things to work.

I’m guilty of always seeking out the best deal. Very often the best deal is with Gear4music. When it, is I know I can rely on their excellent service. A highly recommended supplier.

Bought the tele kit, really to see if I could achieve a decent vintage finish, which I did for a first attempt, but didn't expect much from the playability, but for £50 it is amazingly authentic, certainly quite acceptable as a first guitar. Gear4music's quality and service are always good

I bought my Son his first drum kit from here many years ago, and decided to have another look to buy my Grandson his first kit. Loads of choice and super fast delivery. Thanks for another great experience shopping with you…although, my eardrums are less than impressed!

I am really impressed by the whole experience, the website is very easy to navigate with lots of variety of instruments and accessories. My order was made and I was well informed all the way through. My delivery was so quick and well cared for. I bought a 3/4 guitar bundle for a really great price so wasn’t expecting it to be of great quality, I was wrong, the whole bundle is really really great, I am so pleased and happy because my daughter will love it as it’s going to be her birthday present. 10/10 well done gear4music.

The gear was fine but, you don’t make that you’re a retailer. So it’s all about customer experience and that’s what left me very frustrated.
I ordered the items and the confirmation email had added around 4 days to the expected delivery date, which put it past the gig I needed the gear for. I contacted customer service to cancel the order (before it was picked and dispatched) and was repeated fobbed off with ‘computer says no’ responses. Then to add insult to injury, it arrived early enough for the gig, but as I add ordered from Amazon I had double.

Good range of guitars, sadly what I wanted was not in sight. After about 15 minutes with no help offered I gave up looking.

I bought this flute kit for my youngest great-grandson who is autistic and multi-talented. He can pick up any instrument and, with minimal instruction, can play it within hours!

It was delivered carefully and on time.

This shop always has what I’m looking for. Simple to use website. Best prices. Quick delivery. Unbelievable returns policy if needed. Helpful, polite and knowledgeable staff should you ever visit the store. Why would you shop anywhere else???
