Gem Wholesale are a company that cares about its customers. They will follow up a sale with a phone call to check you are fully equipped for what you have purchased. They go above and beyond to make sure you are comfortable in what you purchase.
Stock you purchase is good value for money and able to make profit from.

Great service and products, Only ordered once off of this company so far but will definatly be going back to them for future purchases, Well done Gem Wholesale!!

I am very sad to say that my first experience with this company has been bad, I have not read the customers negative reviews here and purchased, I guess they are very hidden to not show on the top. The positive reviews are questionable so be careful, I don’t believe they are real at this point.
So I bought a pallet of aprox. 700 GBP. It had eletronics, tvs , sound system, and other small products. Everything I mean everything in my pallet will be thrown away. I am not kidding. The only thing that can be used from the pallet is the packages of paper that was in the pallet. I never thought I would pay so much for trash. The pallet had tvs , only two came without the screen damaged but they DO NOT turn on. I have also noticed that all the TVs are light weight and it seems to have been opened. I am not sure yet if parts and pieces have been removed but the weight of the broken tvs sent are unusual. I am not here claiming that it was 1 or 2 products broken, my whole pallet is worthless except paper. I never thought I’d pay 700 pounds for papper but here we go. Gem wholesale sold me the most expensive paper. My advice do not buy.
Updated on 20/04/2022 in response to the reply below: The company informed me by email that they wouldn’t refund me a partial amount of 168 pounds that is basically the tax I paid, because I have written a negative review and dared me to contact a lawyer.
I want to leave it very clear that I don’t like blackmailing and I will not put anything down out of fear. To anyone reading this understand this company has questionable ethics and you should be careful dealing with them. They are disonest at the core. By the way thanks for the rat family that came in one of the empty TV shell. Disgusting! I am still wondering how can I repair TV shells….

i'm a first time buying a returns pallet, i all away's wanted to buy one i was nervous because what of the word RETURNS, when i come across "GEM WHOLESALE" which i could buy one so i contacted a nice lady call PAULA she was so helpful to me and talked me throught buying a pallet and put my mind at ease buying my pallet i would like to thank her very much for the help.

i'm glad i did i doubled my money and still have stuff to sell, All stock sold at a Fraction of the RRP. Ideal for selling on Facebook, Ebay, Gumtree, carboot's and selling to Friends & Family.i can't wait to come back and buy more returns...

One of the most decent companies that I have ever dealt with. I hadn't ordered from them before and (due to my own incompetence) placed a reasonably large order for something I didn't really mean to buy. They contacted me to check that I knew what I was ordering and to explain some basics. Realising I had made a mistake they then refunded me without any argument or admin charge and sent a confirmation email. Friendly, helpful staff - extremely high level of customer service...and I will definitely order from them again (now that I know what's what 😂).

Absolute disgrace, completely wasted my time, made an order and everything seemed fine. Next morning I get an email saying there is a problem with my billing address.

The woman on the end of the phone would not accept that my bank was registered to my own address which I know it is as I regularly order things from the Web with no problems.

She was offering no resolution to the problem and pressurised me to cancel the order and I won't see my money back for 3-4 working days.

Definitely got the sense something iffy was going on, buyer beware stay away from these cowboys

I didn't refuse the manual check at all you initially were reluctant to offer to do this as a solution I then asked you to do the check but you said that you didn't want to as trying it more than once could cause problems with the bank.

I then requested a refund... A solution which you seemed very insistent on,,,. strange for a company. Upon checking your website on my account it says you have refunded me £108 when I paid £640 for the order. I have reported this to the bank as fraud now and will never deal with you again. I would urge others to do the same

100% trustworthy
its graded and explains the grades in detail before you buy its all there to read
Only place i have found to be so transparent in sales and items you get

Brilliant company to deal with. Always quick to respond and help with any issues. Would defo recommend as we tried a lot and this is simply the best!

I placed an order from Gem after doing lots of research this was my first order I received a call from the office the next day confirming I had paid for next day delivery and it would be arriving the next day. I was advised that the delivery would be between 8am to 6pm. I cancelled all of my appointments for that day to take delivery and guess what it didn't arrive ! After trying to contact the sales team to find out what was happening they had no clue as to where the pallet was and had no idea if it would actually be delivered. I was fobbed off a number of times saying the delivery company would contact me directly they did not. After talking to the sales team they couldn't make contact with the delivery company either. I really cannot believe they are unable to track their own deliveries. I have used other pallet companies in the past and they were always able to give some sort of tracking information or even an am/pm slot. Anyway I have requested a refund and would advise you use a more organised supplier very disappointed.

Be careful buying from them as you can loose a lot.. I bought recently a pallet of 2nd grade clothing I paid for it over £1700 and it’s absolutely rubbish. Only 5-10% of almost 500 items it’s in very good condition with tags, 60% needs big repairs and is used in very poor condition so literally just rubbish and the other 20% are damaged and not repairable so means also rubbish. It’s a big disappointment that this kind of items are to be resold as definitely they should be going straight to destroy. They are not just damaged and faulty items as this would be acceptable as far as I could repair also hardly worn. 2nd grade clothing should be in not to bad condition as stated in your description but most of them just going to recycling centre coz there is no use out of it.

Disappointed lately with their pallets due to items being missing etc. Be careful to order due to no system in place to ensure you get all your items.

*Micro SD cards snapped in half, then put in an adapter to hide it.
*Pen drives that had literally been ran over.
*Screen protectors that had been used & put back in the box.
*4 x Dead PCU’s
*Used in ear headphones full of wax.
*Bluetooth speaker with no charging port.
* Charging cable that gets red hot in seconds.
*Hard drives that had been used & still had pictures of peoples families on.

Just a few highlights of my first experience with Gem.

I really don't know why this place has so many good reviews, either the reviews are fake or I was just extremely unlucky.

My guess is that the people that are selling their junk to Gem are the ones that are writing most of the good reviews.

Why are big retailers selling stock that is only fit for the bin & why are Gem buying it from them & re-selling it ?

I like my reviews to show facts so you can make your own mind so here goes:

Tech & ‘Fun’ pallet = £800, contained 146 items.

Out of the 146, 90 were either broken damaged or missing parts & out of these 95, only 10 items were saleable & at greatly reduced cost due to the condition.

So out of 146 items only 61 were in half decent saleable condition, nothing was what I would call decent, most were not in retail packaging or the packaging was badly damaged & most of the saleable items were under £10 not ideal for online sales when postage is 35% of this, factor in fees & VAT & there really is no point in even listing them.

I would look back at exactly what I made from the £800 pallet but it was a while ago & I really don’t want to depress myself anymore, but as a ball park figure I sold about £900 worth of items which after VAT, Fees, Postage & Item Costs netted about £300.

The bulk of the retail costs were the damaged & completely unrepairable memory cards / stick which amount to roughly 35% of the total retail value of the pallet.

Gem will tell you that items are sold as seen & may need to be repaired for resale but you can still make decent profit, this is just not true unless you are a magician in the case of the memory cards or you have a degree in electronics & a fully equipped workshop for everything else.

After this pallet I did decide to purchase a few other lots of clearance stock which is the hardest to get, you literally need to be sat on your PC refreshing the screen all morning & you don’t even have time to check the prices if you want to buy it.

It would seem Gem take all retail prices from the day the product was released & they will always quote the highest price they can find online IE Laptop that is £600 on Currys website they will find for over 1k somewhere online & put that RRP.

All in all a bad experience, if Gem did the decent thing & refused to buy unrepairable items this could be a decent business, but selling scrap for any amount of money other than scrap value is dishonest in my opinion.
