Livewire is good but Jeff Oberle is GREAT.

Livewire provides quality products and good salesmanship. But I am particularly impressed with the installation and service. My technician was Jeff Oberle. Jeff is knowledgeable, professional and friendly. He demonstrated patience in illustrating the operation of the system and responding to what must have seemed like repeated questions about the function of the system.
I recommend Livewire and highly recommend Jeff Oberle.

Design, installation, training

It took several iterations to get the design of my system the way we wanted it because I did not fully understand all of the options. Salesman was patient but I now wish we had installed longer HMDI cables for our family room to be more compatible with our furniture and had added pass thru's at one other location to hide wiring.
Technicians that installed systems were very polite,efficient,knowledgable and professional. Explained surround sound, television, and security systems that they installed.
When an IR sensor was not working company was quick to respond and correct.

Great!

I was very impressed with Livewire. The salesperson was very professional and I liked how they sent us emails about scheduling. The only shortfall was with the equipment. The salesperson thought we had outdoor cameras and we did not, so we had to wait a couple weeks for a camera to come in. Other than that it was a perfect experience. The technicians were nice, polite and informative.

Home visit to hook up Verizon FIOS Ultra

The technician was on time and very efficient. He connected the components and tested the living room TV set, which worked fine in HD. However, he gave us verbal instructions to connect the other 3 sets, and after we connected each one, we could not get HD on any of them.

I called Livewire to report the problem, and since it was the end of the workday on Friday, no one returned my call. On Saturday my wife had to call Verizon Technical Support to get the problem rectified. She was on the phone for over an hour, trying suggestions he gave her, until finally, his suggestions were successful.

I had hoped that I would receive better follow-up from Livewire. Unfortunately, we remain disappointed.

Overall experience was very positive.

Installation of WiFi throughout the house was excellent. Installation of router and switches in cramped equipment space revealed some lack of planning, but was ultimately successful. Overall, I was quite satisfied.

Remote

The appointment was for 8:00. The service technician showed up at 9:30. He did finish the job around 12:00. I've noticed several glitches with the remote. It does not turn on/off the DirectTV receiver. You have to manually turn it on. It doesn't always switch between modes by changing the inputs or turning on the components.

Livewire's Technicians

Livelier sent two technicians to my home to help sort out some complicated wiring for a multi-room stereo system, bringing our capabilities up to current standards with WiFi digital capabilities over older equipment. The guys were on time, very efficient with their time and completely effective in making the requested updates/changes. We are completely satisfied with their work as they ensured that everything worked as expected before leaving the site.

It's challenging to marry older audio tech with newer devices to bring the functionality of both to a home. These guys deliver. I highly recommend Livewire.

Best Service Experience

This was honestly one of the best service experiences I have ever had. From the initial call to Brad to place the order, the follow up from Henry, Brad and Scott, and the actual service by Mark! Mark stayed at our house until we had thoroughly tested the remote and asked every question possible. He made adjustments based on our feedback quickly and then had us retest! Overall this is a very customer focused company end to end.

We have found Livewire to be professional, friendly, reliable, and very competent. They work hard to find the best and most cost effective way to solve problems and meet needs. I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone (and I have !)

Livewire does a great job.

I have used Livewire before, they are always on time, professional and get the job done. In this case I had a new Bose Soundtouch system installed to replace the older Lifestyle unit. Technician was very good, did clean install and cleaned up my wires. Took time to explain the new system and did not leave until I was satisfied that everything was as I wanted.

You pay for what you get.

Livewire is expensive, but I don't have to think about a thing, and they are top notch. This is our second experience with Livewire and all have been professional, punctual, and take care of EVERYTHING without worry. The work is clean and well done.

Moving forward happily!

I've had a Control 4 system for 2 years, but I've never enjoyed it until now. The system was poorly installed and under-equipped, but the technicians and staff from Livewire came in, analyzed the situation, proposed a solution, executed the game plan, and I'm now excited, happy and pleased with the system. I'm looking forward to expanding its use!

LiveWire Magic makes it all work

Our project was a rather complex one for our new condo. We wanted it just right and Live Wire worked closely with us from construction until move in.
Their folks we courteous, helpful, and extremely qualified to do the work. Everything I planned worked and I appreciated their attention to detail. The security system they installed is very user friendly and fully meets our needs.

Everything is running well and it was a pleasure to work with Live Wire. We have had some very minor things that occurred since completion and Live Wire was guick to "get them fixed". They actually listened to us, made great suggestions, and completed the project on time. Their estimate for the work was fair, and Mike worked with us to save some cost where warranted.
