Love the pink. Product leaves my hair in beautiful condition and styles it well giving the roots lift. The pink storage bag is a bit snug but looks good! Expensive product but worth it.

This is the best hair straightener ever. My hair feels so silky and shiny. Takes less than half the time I use to spend before with my old good hair straightener. Bit expensive but totally worth it.

The order was damaged beyond repair when out for delivery. When I tried to get help online, the GHD AI assistant was useless. Once through to a person service was excellent.

Haven’t received it
Haven’t received it, stuck on label created. Not even dispatched 2.5 weeks later despite it being express post.
Reached out to customer service on two different forms, left unanswered on one and the other they don’t even read the enquiry properly or look into it. Very disappointing.
Edit: still haven’t been contacted or replied to. Response apparently just to mitigate my review. Especially as you rejected my review to your own website.

How am I meant to do that when there is no reply option? So again, I leave another review because just when I think that the customer service provided, could not get any worse.... I am proven wrong.

Different from previous pair
Order came quickly.
The straighteners feel not as solid as previous ones l purchased 5 years ago. I don't like how you turn it on and off either .

Sadly my old pair broke so I had to replace. So happy with them; they really are the best. I just wish they lasted longer. One piece of feedback, when I got my first pair, they came in a gorgeous box with clips etc. my second pair, came with a heat proof protector / bag thing, this pair literally came in the box with nothing. Go back to how it used to be, the protector cases were a nice touch, these cost me £225.

Ripped/tatty packaging - clearly a customer return
I ordered from the ghd official site as opposed to cheaper alternatives to ensure I got the genuine product. However, when it arrived the packaging was ripped and in a tatty state, making me think this must have been a customer return not a brand new product. The product itself seems to be fine although having splurged on the Chronos straighteners I don’t find them to be any better in terms of ease of styling, hair health etc than my Originals which lasted 20 years. So beware of thinking you will get a better product or service by shopping on the ghd official site.

Received Cat Food Instead of a £239 Hair Straightener
I am extremely disappointed with my experience with GHD.
I ordered a GHD Chronos Professional Hair Straightener for £239, attracted in part by the advertised 24-hour delivery. After several delivery delays, my parcel finally arrived 5 days later —but instead of the hair straightener I had paid for the box contained cat food!
I contacted GHD immediately, providing full details and photographic evidence, but several days later I am still waiting for a response and, more importantly, I still have not received the item I paid for.
Mistakes can happen, but what matters is how a company resolves them. In this case, the lack of urgency, communication, and customer support has been extremely disappointing, especially given the value of the order.
GHD should improve its quality control, ensure parcels contain the correct items before dispatch, and provide much faster responses when customers report serious issues. Customers should not have to chase a resolution after paying for a premium product.
At this point, I am still without the product I purchased and am very disappointed with the overall experience.
